Don't Want to Split
Chapter 39 - To Get Her Heart Back

Getting His Heart Back

"We'll both be on the same floor. If you want to stay on this floor, then I will also move to the same floor!" cut Ezra while holding back emotions. He easily read Zefanya's way of mind which kept trying to widen their distance.

"But it'll trouble you."

"Nobody feels bothered." stressed Ezra again. "Please choose which room you want to wear and I'll take the rest. I still keep my promise not to have a room with you."

"But, Ezra, "Zefanya's protest panicked while shaking her head.

His brain thought quickly to resist, but failed. There was not a single reasonable reason to refuse Ezra choosing the same floor. It's messed up, the original plan wasn't like this

"Auntie Laura and Louise... "

"They can use the second floor as they please, no matter how long you want. I don't mind at all."

Once again Ezra cut off Zefanya's sentence before his wife could finish the word - he said. He didn't want to hear any reason at all. Ezra looked deeply at Zephaniah. A gentle but firm gaze, just like before when Ezra gave understanding to Zefanya who was being wayward.

"Kids are the responsibility of parents, Ma Moitie. It's not the responsibility of any one of them. They are our children, our responsibility. Therefore, we'll take care of them together and take turns waking up whenever they need their parents."

Zefanya still looks worried and Ezra tries to convince her.

"Their voice will be monitored on the monitor screen so we can find out if they are crying or sleeping. Everything will be safe, don't worry about anything. It can also exercise their independence."

Ezra turns off the headlights and replaces them with sleeping lights, then embraces Zefanya's shoulder and guides her out of the children's room.

"Now they are asleep. How about I help you move your stuff down?"

Once again Zefanya choked, Ezra's sincerity embarrassed her for continuing to keep her distance. The man's kindness made him hurt because after this he would again hurt the man he loved.

"I. . s-actually I've moved my things to this room." Zefanya said honestly with heavy feelings. He could no longer hide his guilt towards Ezra. His face was red and held back the crying.

Ezra. His eyes radiated a look of heartbreak and disappointment. I don't know how many times this woman had scratched the wound in her heart, but still her voice was soft as she said, "Then I will move my things. Yuk, come with me. We can talk while we talk."

Ezra's hands gently clasped Zephanya's fingers and took her to the second floor, where Ezra's room was located. Zephaniah could not resist, sobbing heartily she followed Ezra to her husband's room.

"I'll take you guys to the island tomorrow. Get ready - be ready." said Ezra while cleaning the goods. He deliberately did not ask Zefanya's opinion, knowing his wife would definitely refuse in order to avoid him. The word - he said this time more in the form of a notification, the rest of the time not much Ezra should immediately win back Zefanya heart.

Again Ezra did not give Zephaniah a chance to speak.

"Louise is coming in two days. You know that he doesn't like to go out in the open? As long as there is an opportunity, let's have fun with the kids. Don't you want to see them happy?"

Zefanya can only mend-e-sah in the heart.

'Can you stop all this goodness of yours, Ez? Whatever you are trying will be in vain because of the collision of fate. This marriage was a mistake. The world will condemn us!'

In order to hide her trembling hands, Zefanya stuffed her hands into the pockets of her jeans and began to follow Ezra's footsteps walking into the hallway towards the first floor.

"How about tomorrow we talk about plans for the island, Ez? Right now I feel very tired and want to sleep." Zefanya replied at last. His voice sounded uninspired.

Ezra paused for a moment and observed Zephaniah's face.

"O'iya. All right, I get it. You sleep less overnight because of the storm and also take care of the children. Now sleep. Don't think about anything, I'll be watching the kids tonight."

They arrived on the first floor and headed for Zefanya's room. Ezra opened the door of Zephaniah's room so that his wife could rest. Not wanting to get a good-night kiss, Zefanya hurriedly walked past Ezra.

"Ups!"

A mistake happened. Ezra retreated as Zefanya hurriedly barged into the room, unfortunately Ezra's arm came into contact with Zefanya's d-a-d-a. For a moment they both froze. There is something burning in each other's hearts. His blood felt rippling. Before him Ezra stood straight with his eyes glittering as if holding something bubbling inside him. He's a normal guy but he has to refrain from touching his woman.

Not daring to look Ezra in the eye, Zefanya went into the room and immediately grabbed a mobile phone from the table. The waiter had already moved his things to this room while they were in Ezra's room. Behind him, Ezra looked at Zefanya's back with a longing and longing gaze.

Shuddering in horror, Zefanya swiped the phone screen and picked the number of someone she was very much looking forward to coming.

"Louise?"

"... "

"We are well and looking forward to your arrival and my nephew."

Zefanya immediately greeted her older sister with excessive enthusiasm. Then he immediately told his children without caring about Ezra's hurt look from behind his back.

The man stood in the doorway clenching his hands, watching Zefanya who seemed to be deliberately lingering - long calling Louise while turning her back.

The same thing happened to Zefanya, she felt that time was going so slowly that she heard the sound of Ezra moving away.

The sound of Ezra's steps had a tremendous effect on Zephaniah's heart and soul. The weight of his feelings was lifted but at the same time his heart felt like it was being hit by a sledgehammer. Stuffy! It really hurts when we have to deliberately drive away the men we love so much and shut ourselves down and stay away from their love.

Strange feelings are raging, messing with Zefanya's mind. Fear began to reach his heart, will Ezra avenge every heartache that has been scratched by him?

One thing is certain, Zefanya does not dare to go with Ezra to the island tomorrow. With or without children, equally dangerous. Anything can happen on a small island away from the crowds. His wife did not dare to take any risks at all.
