Don't Want to Split

Don't Want to Split
Chapter 27 - The Best Way To Love

The reality of the twins reawakened Zefanya's spirit to recover immediately. Its absence during this time, makes both baby sitters needed. But now he has returned and is very jealous to see the closeness of his children with the nannies. As if - would their caregiver know more compared to her biological mother.

Ezra had already forced her to stay together for a month, then it was now her turn to ask. His first request was to lay off the two nannies. Ezra says that both babies are healthy, so they won't bother him too much. If they were troubled, there were many servants in the mansion who could help him look after the twins.

Not only does Zefanya not want her children to be cared for and raised by others, but she also needs something to do in order to occupy herself until the thirty day deadline is passed. After all this is done, then he will negotiate with Ezra about child custody.

She would rent an apartment nearby so they could take turns babysitting every day. After all, with Zefanya babysitting their children, Ezra will have more time to date other women. It seems ideal in the mind of Zefanya.

What about Zefanya?

Yep. She decided to be a housewife. Forget the idea of going around the world and also working in Ezra's office. Regarding the cost of living, Zefanya was not worried at all. Ezra will definitely bear the living expenses of his children and maybe himself.

Zefanya feed pieces by pieces while continuing to daydream, imagining what activities will be done with his children later. Of course without Ezra in it, it's pathetic. He would bathe and hug them, train them to walk, read stories every night, teach them to talk, sing. The main thing is to give them love to be children that their father can be proud of.

If he cannot give his love to Ezra as husband and wife, then the best way is to lavish that love on Ezra's children, their flesh and blood. Louis and Louisa.

"Zie?"

Drifting off in a daydream, Zefanya was shocked to hear the call. He did not hear Ezra coming near.

"Doctor Calvin is still in the hospital today. But soon he will return to his home, which is also his practice. Her nurse said that we could leave now and she'd slip us in before Calvin's doctor started examining the other patients."

A mixture of fear and relief approached Zefanya. Afraid that - if the results of the genetic examination of their two children are bad, but also relieved because he can know because it will get certainty about the condition of the children. Zefanya quickly - quickly swallowed her cake and said, "Come, we're leaving now."

Ezra nodded and thrust out Zefanya's bag. "I've prepared it so you don't have to get tired up and down the stairs."

His body felt like it was being slapped by reality. How could he leave a man this good, who always thought of everything he was before he could ask for anything. Without saying much, Zefanya grabbed the bag from Ezra's hand. His heart suddenly thumped hard when his skin accidentally came into contact with Ezra's skin.

"Ups! We're leaving now?" asked Zefanya while pulling her hand quickly, like just holding a hot pot.

Ezra only smiled ironically and walked ahead of his wife to hide the disappointment that had returned to his heart. As scared as that Zefanya against him, touching just a few seconds has made him tiptoe in fear.

Zefanya follows the steps of Ezra towards his latest sports car. Today the atmosphere was bright, the sunlight felt warm on his back. Had this been the past, he would have whined to Ezra to sunbathe by the lake to spend the morning with him. But again, Zefanya had to dismiss all her delusions. If necessary, he would have to remove the word 'if' in his dictionary so that it would no longer be intelligent - if he wanted something that could not happen.

"Zie's... "

But the called one does not hear. Again Ezra called out to Zefanya while gently patting Zefanya on the shoulder.

"Are you okay, honey?"

"Eh, uhm, yeah. Sure." Sure." Zefanya answered nervously.

"Louisa's really like your copy. Every time I see it, I feel like I see a little Zefanya. He is my cure for you."

Zefanya.

'Yes, God. Stop everything, dear.' beg Zefanya in your heart. He didn't want Ezra to return to their relationship, just that he felt this kind of pain.

"The color of her hair and eyebrows, just like you, Ezra" Zefanya argued to stop her husband's words.

Who would have thought, Ezra turned his head and looked at him fully in search. The queen immediately closed her eyes. He had made a mistake, unintentionally comparing himself - comparing their daughter to Ezra. Isn't something like this impossible to happen to a person who already doesn't care?

Unable to see Zefanya go awry, Ezra continues the story.

"Meilissa used to scold me for cuddling Louisa more than Louis. He did not want to grow envy in Louis. How else would you like? I have no other way but to pour out my longing to Louisa."

"Ezra!" cut the Zefanya quickly, before Ezra continues to move on to more sensitive topics.

"I understand that you need a nanny to be able to handle children. But now that I'm cured, I want to take care of them myself without the help of a nanny."

Ezra's jaw looks hard. He fully realizes that taking care of the twins is one of Zefanya's tricks to avoid being alone with him.

"Come, Ez. The doctor said I'm healthy enough for that."
