The Bad Liar
Finally the waiting came too, Louise and her two-year-old son Carlos. Days - days they spend more time together. Just like today, Zefanya and Louise walked - the road to the edge of the lake while carrying their children. Louis and Louise sat quietly on their baby carriage which had double seating. Their clear eyes shone as if enjoying the scenery passed.
The larger Carlos, could not last long sitting quietly on his chariot. He jumped down from where he sat and chased ducks or waved at passers-by in a rowboat.
"How old are you right now?" asked Zefanya to make sure when Louise looked exhausted even though they had not long enjoyed the view of the lake.
"Four months." replied Louise with a heavy sigh.
"But it's like six months' gestation." Zefanya said in disbelief, her hand gently touching her brother's belly.
Pregnant women are easily tired, but her sister's face looks more tired than pregnant women in general.
Louise nodded with a smile. "First time in college, we often walk here enjoying the afternoon with school friends. And now, we're just the two of us together with our children." she replied as she rubbed her big, round belly. He pushed Carlos' train towards one of the benches there and immediately stuck his pan-tat there.
"Yes. Unknowingly, time passed quickly." murmured Zefanya with mixed feelings. She followed Louise as she lamented her happiness that seemed to be moving away from her grasp.
"You remember that tree and that fence? We hit him in Ethan's car before." Louise laughed a little.
"Now you can laugh, Louise. Did you forget that you were crying because Dad cut our allowance to pay for Ethan's car repairs?" zefanya sneered while smiling.
Louise laughed. "Ah, yes... Where's Ethan? I've been here for almost two weeks, but I've never seen one."
"I haven't seen him since I returned to the mansion either. Joan said she has a job in America." Zefanya answered honestly. He never asks Ezra about Ethan but the butler tells him without being asked.
"Hmm.. , I think it must be because of Ezra. Their relationship hasn't been good since Ethan's been disrespectful to you."
"O'yeah?"
Zefanya tries to remember - recalling her past with Ezra and Ethan. Silence - her heart was filled with guilt. Don't don't don't let Ezra deliberately remove Ethan from the mansion so that he feels comfortable here.
"Zie, hey, Zie!" call Louise cut off her daydream. "By the way about Ezra, what really happened? I heard you guys are going to be apart by the end of this month. Why could that be? This really doesn't make sense!"
Not liking to talk about this topic, Zefanya sighed.
"I just don't want to continue this marriage, it turns out I'm not ready for a household."
Louise found a gaffe here. "Ezra loves you so much. Whatever makes you unprepared, he'll definitely handle it. In her life there was only you, she didn't even glance at any woman who tried to attract her attention, including me."
"You?" Zefanya was interested in the last sentence spoken by Louise.
Louise nodded. "If I can be honest, I'm so sorry for you. I don't know what spells you wear to lure him."
"O'yeah?" pekik Zefanya surprised.
"Louise... "
Finding regret clearly imprinted on Zefanya's face, Louise hurriedly calmed her down.
"Hey, that's just my teenage story." Louise smiled as she patted Zefanya gently on the shoulder. "The two weeks I was here made me realize that my household could still be repaired. Same with you. There is no problem in the home without a solution. I really can't bear to see Ezra right now. He's tough outside tough, but crushed inside. How can you sleep apart from him? I really want to know the cause of the divorce."
Zefanya closed her eyes and took a deep breath and exhaled. "I've told you the truth, Louise. I just want to be free, not bound by any responsibility." Zefanya lied.
"Why? Are you traumatized by having twins? Are you your sons and daughters very troublesome? If that's the case, Ezra is perfectly capable of paying the best baby sitter."
"Sorry, Louise. I know you mean well. But this is my personal problem. The point is that I no longer have any feelings for Ezra. Point."
"Omong empty! You were so crazy about Ezra back then. I remember how you did everything you could to keep coming here every year even willing to study hard to be able to go to college here and be with Ezra."
"That was. Not anymore." Zefanya's voice sounded cold, typical of her when she did not want to extend the conversation.
Louise shook her head sadly. "You're a bad liar, Zie. I don't believe a single bit in what you're saying. Ezra won't believe this either." Louise said.
Thankfully, Carlos looked bored. He started riding on the twins' train and harassed his cousins.
"I think my niece is bored. The twins are also eating. Let's go home." Invite Zefanya to end this unpleasant conversation.
"I'm not done with you yet, Zie." Louise growled.
"I've. To me, the conversation has gone too far."
"I won't stay silent on this matter even though maybe you'll be mad at me."
The zefanya twisted her body. He brought his face closer to Louise's face with a burning emotion. "I've never interfered with your problems and your husband's. So don't you ever interfere in my business."
"My husband and I had a lot of problems, but we tried to stay. But you?" Louise stubbornly pointed at Zefanya's face with her index finger. "There are no significant problems in your household, both in terms of economy and your partner. Ezra can even give me good advice about marriage. I believe he also applied it to your household."
"Shut your mouth, Louise." Zefanya's sizzle was getting upset.
"No will! But I'm sick of seeing you. The source of your divorce is you, Zie. I'd better be home tomorrow, before I get sick of seeing you." Louise said.
"That's a great idea! The sooner the better." said Zefanya do not want to lose.
From childhood they are often different opinions and the peak is always the same. They will not want to see each other for a certain period of time.
"Yeah! Don't worry. My husband misses me too. Of course I have to get back in his arms."
