Don't Want to Split

Don't Want to Split
Chapter 35 - Can't Together Any Longer

Ezra is absolutely incredible. No matter how chaotic the feeling raged in his heart, he showed absolutely nothing. His heart was furious, once again his Zefanya deliberately widened the distance between them. This time by trying to present his older sister and nephew at the mansion. With the presence of the two people, it is certain that Zefanya's busyness will increase. The chance to be far apart is also getting bigger.

Ezra stuffed a piece of cheddar cheese into his mouth, chewed it quietly and then swallowed it.

"Do you think inviting Louise is wise? Remember how their family is right now?" ezra asked in a flat tone, without any turmoil.

Zefanya sighed. "You mean about her husband?"

"Zie." said Ezra slowly.

Zefanya.

"Did you know? By inviting Louise and her daughter is the same as inviting her husband?"

Zefanya was silent, seemingly thinking. Ezra corrected his sitting position and looked at Zefanya deeply. "Your sister's husband doesn't know the meaning of work. Being a guest in our house will only make him more lazy."

Zefanya hesitated. "I knew. That's why I only invited Louise and my niece. Aunty Laura said that Louise was in trouble and I wanted to support her. Maybe by vacationing here will make it calmer. He needs family support, Ezra."

Although Zefanya's reasoning sounded reasonable, guilt made Zefanya escape her gaze from Ezra's sharp gaze. He knows that Ezra is very smart. Her husband must know the reason why she invited Louise to the mansion. Especially if not to avoid Ezra?

Ezra took a long breath. "alright. When do you want Louise to come?" ask Ezra to give up.

"Fastly." said Zefanya without thinking again.

"Then I'll have my assistant take care of his departure."

"Huh?"

"Let my assistant buy you a ticket and call Louise as soon as possible."

Zefanya. "No, no." she refused quickly. There is a sense of hesitation to sneak in the hatinta, Ezra is kind enough to finance the needs of his brother.

"Ehm, I mean, Louise can buy her own tickets" Zefanya added later. He said it very slowly, worried that his words would offend Ezra.

"Did Louise have enough money to come here?" ask Ezra to the point.

She knew everything about her sister-in-law, from Louise's relationship with her husband to their slightly struggling finances. Louise's husband doesn't work, he'd rather squander money and have fun outside than take care of his wife's child.

"Louise still has savings."

"The savings should be kept for urgent needs, not for trips like this. Besides, he's here because of your invitation that we should have paid for their trip."

"Louise's Savings are inherited money from our father. It's better for Louise to spend it on herself than for her husband." said Zefanya, looking very dislikeful of her sister's husband.

"They'll fight if Louise's husband finds out his wife has a mistress without their knowledge. Louise's been hiding her savings."

"Ah, yes...Actually their marriage is on the edge of the horn. --"

"W-how about we go home? It seems they've been out there too long. If you're tired, I can replace you with driving. I still remember how to drive well." Zefanya proposed to drive away the awkward who arrived - suddenly appeared between them.

"I really believe in your driving ability" Ezra replied with a meaningful smile. He himself trained and ensured Zefanya's ability to drive when the girl just entered college.

"So we go home?" Ask Zefanya expectantly.

He stood up, after previously taking the twins and carrying them. One on the right and one on the left.

"No, Honey. We don't want to go home yet. My kids and I still want to enjoy this day. How about you drive to the rest house?" Ezra asked back. His tone was soft but indisputable.

Zephaniah's heart melos. Their resting house is not far from there but it is the same as the next few hours with Ezra. Meanwhile, in front of him Ezra had walked ahead to the car with his backpack.

Zefanya did not dare to force to go home because it would only make Ezra more curious. With a gontai step, Zefanya follows Ezra who immediately takes over the twins so that Zefanya can sit in the driver's seat.

With trembling hands Zefanya turned the car keys. Not because he's afraid of driving, not at all. He was only afraid of being close to Ezra who seemed ready to interrogate him whenever the opportunity arose.

"Don't forget to let go of the brake hand first." Ezra reminded patiently. "We can fill up the gas later after coming home from the rest house."

Zefanya opened her car hood and let a gentle breeze blow across her face. The atmosphere of the beach is quiet at this hour makes Zefanya driving while daydreaming.

If only he could enjoy time with Ezra as a couple who loved each other longer, he promised he would really change. He will obey Ezra, no longer childish as before. She will also learn to cook, although there are cooks in the mansion who are always ready to serve them.

The resting house is getting closer, Zefanya more upset. Ezra insists on staying together to prove that Zefanya is not really, really with the intention of getting divorced. And now, the time is drawing near that he or they will both be equally broken.

Zefanya strengthened her heart to finish this day by keeping that secret. After this Louise will come, at least one to two weeks will be passed with her brother. Ezra couldn't bother him too much.

And after that, he only needed to last the remaining few days before they would actually get divorced. Telling the truth to Ezra would only cause bitterness in his heart. He would be very disappointed towards the father he was so proud of. We never know what changes in the heart when the disappointment comes.

One thing's for sure, Ezra will never be the same again. No matter how many times Zefanya weighed, the final answer was always the same. It is better for her husband to suffer a moment of heartbreak than to lose his identity because of hatred for his father.

"Zie's... Zie..!"'s...!"

Immersed in his own thoughts, Zefanya is unaware of Ezra's call. It was only after Ezra patted her on the arm and forced her to stop driving that Zefanya only realized that they had passed the rest house.

"Stop in front! We stop by the supermarket first to buy groceries."

Zefanya's body stiffened.

"Tonight we will stay." said Ezra.

"But the kids?" zefanya protests helplessly, trying to change Ezra's mind for no longer together.

"They'll be fine with the two masters."
