Don't Want to Split

Don't Want to Split
Chapter 19 - A Jealousy

"Yes God! What the hell am I doing?'

Zefanya doused her face repeatedly with water in the sink to clear her mind. He can't cry for Ezra. Her husband deserves to be happy. The handsome face and successful young entrepreneur coupled with his gentlemanly attitude, certainly not difficult to find a replacement for him.

"This is the best! This is the best!" he muttered continuously as if he was casting a spell.

He wiped his tears, repeatedly taking breaths to ease his overflowing emotions. Getting used to the abundance of love from Ezra makes him feel devastated when he finds out Ezra has another woman.

Zephaniah couldn't see Ezra with another woman. Why didn't he just die in the accident? Everything will be easier with his passing, this secret will also disappear.

Some time in the bathroom, Zefanya felt her feelings a little better. Yes, just a little. Nothing can make a woman feel better knowing her husband has a child than another woman.

Just a few steps out of the bathroom, someone pulled him hard.

"Aachk!!" zefanya's screams are stifled.

For a moment his body stiffened. But the next second the familiar fragrant parfume enveloped him. The breath and warmth of the man's body was well known to him. Zefanya closed her eyes, enjoying the feeling that slipped into her heart. It feels like coming home. Ezra hugged him from behind.

"You okay, Ma Moitie?" Ezra's soft voice sounded worried.

Zefanya gulped and tried hard, her logic was constantly reminding her not to drift in feelings. But his heart could not be cooperated with. He is mired in Ezra's love and wants to continue wallowing in it.

"I'm okay. It would be even better if you let go of me, Ezra." she said softly, struggling against the turbulent taste in her body.

Ezra inhaled deeply - in the scent of Zefanya's body which he was hugging, after which he let go. Coinciding with the sound of steps - footsteps approaching to his room. Zephaniah hurried away from Ezra, but the man held him, remaining in his arms.

The sound of the door being knocked. Ezra let in and a servant brought a trolley filled with food.

"Good night, sir, Madam." said with a polite smile.

"Let's put it on the table. After that you can go down." Ezra ordered without letting go of his embrace of Zephaniah.

The waiter arranged the food and drinks he brought on the table, complete with knives, spoons and forks.

"I asked the cook to make you a wellington beef and cheesecake. You used to love it so much and always asked for extra portions."

Ezra took Zephaniah's hand and invited him to sit down. Zefanya refrained from glancing towards the food that stirred her taste. The typical English food made from special steak meat is beef and is equipped with a filling of mushrooms and other vegetables and wrapped using puff pastry.

This guy is the smartest to improve his mood. Zefanya never managed to linger - long angry with Ezra.

Zefanya sat on the chair and looked at the astonished Ezra who began to cut the meat in front of him. There is only one portion for each menu, both food and drinks.

"You don't eat?" asked Zefanya astonished.

"Later I'll eat downstairs."

Zefanya's forehead was wrinkled, her heart was poking. Bad thoughts ran through his head. Ezra did not want to eat with him, surely because the mother of the baby girl was waiting for him down there. Zefanya smiled bitterly. Dinner was delivered to the room without being asked. That was already the most appropriate reason for Ezra's treatment of him.

Recalling the baby girl and her mother, anger bubbled in her heart. Unknowingly, Zefanya gripped the napkin that was on her lap. Despite being busy with the piece of meat, Ezra was silent - silently observing the change in the look of his wife's face.

"Yuk, eat." Ezra placed a plate containing wellington beef that had been cut neatly in front of Zefanya.

Under ordinary conditions, Zefanya's eyes would instantly sparkle and devour her favorite menu. But not this time, he folded both hands in front of his chest and stared intently at Ezra. "I'm not hungry."

"Emh! NO!" push down the Zefanya while closing your mouth and turning your face away. His style was exactly like a child who was lashing. He is angry at Ezra who forced him home when it was clear there was no place for him in Ezra's heart.

"Zefanya Halley." call Ezra in an intimidating tone. Calling Zefanya by her full name is a sign that she is in a state of anger. Zefanya never liked Ezra like that.

"Leave me, I'll eat myself."

Although his guts were shrinking, Zefanya was still trying to be stubborn. No matter how angry Ezra was, the men would never be rude to him.

Ezra.

"No. Eat after that I want to talk to you." said Ezra, shifting his seat closer to Zephaniah.

"Speak about what?"

"I don't want to spoil your appetite. I want you to get well soon." persuade Ezra again.

"Speak now or I don't eat."

Ezra sighed, the woman was still in her stubborn fashion.

"Do you want me to take a bribe?"

Emotionlessly Ezra took a fork and stabbed one of the meat, preparing to feed Zefanya. His wife likes to be spoiled the most. But no problem, Ezra happily indulges Zefanya. The difference in age of almost ten years makes him always understand the attitude of Zefanya who is childish - kanakan.

The zefanya put away the meat that was thrust into her mouth. Suddenly, Ezra's sweet attitude was sickening to him. His eyes felt hot, emotions bubbling in his chest.

"Come on your baby girl!"

Ezra knew Zefanya was misunderstanding him. This is how Zefanya if jealous, the logic is blunt. The man could only hold back the laughter.

"Let's eat first. I'll tell you something later, hm?"

"NO! I don't want to talk about the baby's mother."

"But we need to talk, Zie..-"

"Why don't you just let me get out of your life? No need to feel responsible for me. Besides, there's a baby's mother who's gonna take care of you."

Ezra grunting. 'Basic child!'

"Don't laugh! Nothing funny!" sergeant Zefanya while glaring at Ezra.

Ezra can no longer hold back his laughter, the first laugh since Zefanya disappeared and was found in an accident. His shoulders shook as if Zefanya's words were the funniest joke he had ever heard.

"Dam, Zie... You better not assume that you are not - no. Listen to me first." Ezra said in between his laughter.

"Don't twist - bevel! I know you just want to be fair to me by giving me a chance to rethink divorce. Aye right?"

Unknowingly Zefanya brought her face closer to Ezra's face. The man covered Zephaniah with his mouth.

"Hmmphh!" Her Zephanas breath was choked when Ezra's mouth cupped her lips. Shut her up with a kiss.
