A Plan
"Remember! Tonight's not over, Zefanya Halley!" Ezra smiled obliquely then turned around and left Zefanya.
Zefanya breathed a sigh of relief when she heard the sound of her husband's steps away. His body arrived - suddenly limp helpless until - until hugged Louisa tightly - tightly, worried that her daughter was separated from her sling. After her tension loosened, Zefanya began to deal with her daughter.
First he gave Louisa a heat-lowering drug, then took the feverish child to her room. Zephanya's plan is that Louisa will sleep with herself in her bed wide enough to be shared with her daughter. This is of course more efficient, considering he no longer needs to go back and forth to the children's room to check Louisa's condition. After all, he also needed a friend tonight to calm his feelings of guilt that was so overwhelming.
It seems to be true, a mother's embrace is the most comfortable place for a child. After finishing half a bottle of s-u-s-u, Louisa was finally able to sleep. Not much different from Louisa, Zefanya also fell asleep because tired of the body mixed with all the emotional tension he experienced all day.
At night, Louisa is not awake, or may be awake but Zefanya is unaware of it. I don't know. Clearly, Zefanya opened her eyes when it was morning. He gasps and finds Louisa not next to him. It was definitely Ezra who took their daughter because no one dared to go into the room while the mistress was sleeping, except Ezra.
Zefanya shuddered in horror, it seemed like she knew the biggest reason Ezra had entered into her room. Deep down, Zefanya also felt how Ezra was with all his might holding ha-sr-at back from touching his wife. Had the situation not been like this, Zefanya would not have hesitated to fulfill Ezra's request.
For weeks they were under the same roof and indeed Ezra kept his promise not to sleep in the same room as Zefanya. But Ezra's anger last night could have made him do something outside of the deal. Zephaniah was so grateful that he fell asleep that Ezra could not wake him.
This time he can escape from Ezra's safety, what about tomorrow or the day after tomorrow or the remaining seven days? The thought made Zefanya tremble, her heart was truly trembling. What would happen if Ezra really went into the bedroom and asked for his right as a husband?
Zefanya. This can't happen. He turned his brain back and began to think about what he should do at this moment.
Zefanya was having a hard time with Louisa who was fussy because she had the flu. His little princess could not sleep if not held or carried because her nose was dead. At least Louisa's fever had subsided, so Zefanya could say goodbye to her older sister.
After her brother leaves, she will carry out her plan. Ezra will take Louise and her son to the airport, while Zefanya will not be able to take Louisa away because her daughter is sick. He could reason to keep Louisa at home, when in fact Zefanya plans to run away and disappear for good.
Eventually her two children fell asleep as well although Louisa needed more effort to sleep. Zefanya glanced at the clock on the wall, there was still about an hour's drive for Ezra to return to the mansion from the airport.
"Forget the thirty-day covenant of living together in the mansion. The most important thing was to leave the mansion today or not at all." Zefanya's inner voice continued to whisper.
As the time approaches tea time, Joan must be busy preparing camilam for her and Ezra. Zefanya had also hidden her small bag in the back shed so she could immediately take it away without being conspicuous. The back gate of the mansion was already safe inside his pants pocket. A taxi will pick her up at the back of the mansion, after which she will continue to travel to a place in Scotland, which Ezra never thought of.
Perfect! The plan was absolutely perfect. Again Zefanya kissed her children with glassy eyes.
"Mama always loved you. With Papa, your life will be more secure than coming with me. Forgive Mama, son." whispered as slow as possible because he did not want to disturb the rest of Louis and Louisa.
"Mrs, do you want to drink your tea now?" asked Joan astonished.
Not usually the hostess shows up in the kitchen at this time, after all her daughter is sick should Zefanya is accompanying in the nursery or resting in her own room while monitoring the child's room CCTV monitor.
"Uhm, please prepare at the dining table. I want to enjoy it with Ezra." Zefanya lied.
Joan's smile was broken. "I am happy that your relationship has improved with Mr. Ezra, Madam" he said without being able to hide his hopeful expression. He loved Ezra like his own son, his greatest wish was to see his young master grow up, marry and be happy with his family.
His heart was like being pinched. He not only ran away but also lied to the kind woman before him. How sad.
"Thank you, Jo."
That was all that could be removed from Zefanya's tiny mouth, her lips feeling stiff as she tried to smile.
Joan prepared some snacks and placed them on a tray and walked to the dining room.
"Tell me if there's any other food you want to eat, ma'am. I'll gladly prepare." said the message before leaving the room.
Joan disappears, Zefanya is left in the kitchen to make sure everything is safe and no one is watching her. Once the distance is safe, Zefanya will contact Joan to apologize and leave the twins to her.
Feeling safe, Zefanya tiptoed towards the warehouse to take her bag and then headed for the back gate. The Zefanya breathed a sigh of relief, the journey towards the back gate was so smooth. There was no gardener in the back garden, the waiter was not seen including the security guard was also not seen. Maybe because the gate is locked with a sophisticated security system then they can work more relaxed.
Once again he circulated a glance, looking at the atmosphere of the mansion for the last time. After this Ezra will hate him and will not want to meet him. A single tear fell on his cheek, Zefanya rubbed his cheek with the back of his hand while the other hand placed his bag on the ground and took out the key from his pocket.
"Goodbye, my children. My liv. My happiness." she softened while sobbing.
His hand shook as he opened the large padlock attached to the gate. Ezra did put a password and fingerprints on this gate but Zefanya is still the hostess in this mansion. He knew the right key to open the gate. Without any problems the gate opened quickly. Zefanya picked up her little bag and started to step out the gate. Not even he could breathe a sigh of relief, as Zefanya closed the gate again an unpleasant premonition surrounded him.
His heart stopped beating feeling...
