Don't Want to Split

Don't Want to Split
Chapter 46 - A Bitter Truth

A Bitter Reality

Knowing who Zephaniah was, Ezra beat his wife in a meeting to make her surrender. Not one bit did he give Zefanya the chance to escape. The second that Zefanya stopped resisting, that very second Ezra changed his attitude.

Knowing which parts Zefanya liked, Ezra began to treat Zefanya gently. Touching any sensitive point that could exalt a 'feel' within his wife. Ezra emotionally continues to lull over Zefanya, trying to get the woman into her love.

His Zefanya soul was split in two, between being lulled and wanting to resist. Just as Ezra missed himself, Zefanya also wanted this closeness. Ezra's love is felt through her gentle touch and kiss. Ezra's hands are guerrilla, making his Zephaniah's consciousness thin.

But his conscience kept shouting, "It's a sin, Zie! The sins!"

"STOP!" zefanya shouted with all her might while holding back a cry.

Ezra began to take off his blouse buttons, unwilling to listen to Zefanya's screams. The kiss went from Zefanya's already open neck to shoulder. For whatever sake, Zefanya did not want this to stop but she had to stop it. Got to!

"Stop, Ez! It's sin!" he said again, this time crying. His heart was broken to pieces because it had to reject the husband he loved so much.

Ezra laughed heartily. "sin? You are there, Ma Moitie... "

"No, Ez." said Zefanya resigned. His body could not move because it was squeezed by Ezra's large and gallant body. At least Ezra had stopped his aggression, now was the time for them to discuss.

"We are still officially husband and wife if you forget, and doing something like this is natural." replied Ezra without hiding her curiosity.

Unable to face Ezra's full gaze, Zefanya turned her face away.

"If I may guess, is this why you ran away from me and asked for a divorce?"

Zephanya sipped saliva, worried about coming back. The choice is two now. To speak the truth or to allow them the same - is to sin by allowing Ezra to compel himself to perform the duties of a wife. For no good reason, Ezra won't let go tonight.

"All we do is sin." Zephaniah's great-grandson again with a stern expression.

Ezra cupped Zefanya's face and forced her to look at each other. The position of their faces was now so close that Zefanya felt the heat radiating on her cheeks.

"Now tell me the truth!" ezra's orders were without mercy. He no longer wanted to guess - guess what happened. His lies must be stopped.

"Police think what possessed you to think that the ritual of husband and wife is a sin. What trust are you holding right now?"

Ezra tilted his face and came back to scout Zefanya.

"What is the reason for your request for divorce because you fear sin?"

Zefanya. Her husband is too smart to be lied to should he choose to stay in the hospital as long as possible and find a way to escape from there. Thirty days of living in the mansion was a huge mistake.

"Zie?" call Ezra in a threatening tone when Zefanya does not answer a single question.

Zefanya nodded in fear - fear, then replied in a soft voice. "Yes." Yeah."

Ezra was stunned, his forehead wrinkled. "Why sins?"

Zephaniah was silent, weighing. Ezra was still unwilling to let go, his eyes staring straight into Zephaniah's eyes. He was waiting for his wife's answer.

Zefanya took a deep breath and exhaled it.

"Because... Your father is my father."

Ezra blinked his eyes with a confused face. He could not digest the words spoken by Zefanya. His hands were still cupped on Zefanya's cheeks.

"Say it again more clearly!"

Unable to retract the words, he said, Zefanya began to organize the heart. Prepare yourself for all the possibilities that will happen when this secret is revealed.

"Benjamin Halley is my father." Zefanya said slowly, hoping that time would stop and no longer need to discuss this.

"Oh my God, please enable me to be forthright." Prayer to strengthen the heart.

"What did I say wrong?" Ezra raised his eyebrows.

"No. It's not... "

"Then?"

"Benjamin Halley is my real father, so our father is the same but different mother."

"What do you mean?"

"As you heard. Before he died, your father told me the truth. He even apologized to me before closing his eyes."

"Tell me everything and nothing gets covered!" order Ezra while tidying up the Zefanya blouse buttons and then sitting cross-legged on the bed. Zephaniah sat in front of Ezra with his head bowed.

"Your father and mother had a special relationship." Zefanya took a breath and continued her story. "We are brothers of one father and different mothers."

"Are you sure you're not lying?"

Zefanya shook her head sadly. "But this is reality. It happened after Louise was born."

Ezra stood in his place. His brain worked hard to receive and absorb the information he had just received. He tried to sort out and examine events for the sake of his childhood, especially about the relationship between his parents.

Zefanya stared at her husband's pain. Ezra's expression was so furious, just as he had when he first heard this reality from his father-in-law.

"You're really telling me everything honestly, Zie?" Ezra's index finger raised the chin of Zefanya who continued to look down. He wanted to once again judge Zefanya's honesty from his eyes.

"Aren't you lying?" ask Ezra.

His heart still hopes that Zefanya's story is just a mere essay.

"Everyone, including you, knows that I can't live without you, Ez. From the first time I met you, I've been in love with you. How could I leave you if it was just a trivial reason. Being your wife and living with you is my biggest dream."

"Do you dare swear?"

"I swear I heard all that from Mr. Benjamin. With my own ears in his last moments. I heard him conscious, not sleepy let alone drunk. And right now, I'm not subtracting or adding anything to my story."

Ezra's shoulders fell, as did the finger holding Zephaniah's chin. He knew Zefanya was honest but the truth of this story was very doubtful.

"Are there any witnesses when my father told me all this?"

Zefanya thought for a moment and tried to remember - remember. "Doctor or nurse in the hospital." murmured Zefanya doubtfully.

"So they were with you when you were talking to my father?"

"It seems. , yes." Zefanya replied still unsure.

Zephanya cursed in the heart, why at a time like this his brain does not want to work together to remember important things like this?

"Try to remember - remember again, dear." said Ezra softly. As bad as the reality he heard, Ezra did not let his heart hurt Zefanya.

"It looks like there's a doctor or nurse treating you. All I remember is that there's a medic there."

"If you're sure this isn't a lie, do you release me to investigate?"

"Yes." replied Zefanya steady.
