Chapter 82. End of misunderstanding

"Dad, Naina's glad you came. Mom ... Dad's coming after us!" scream Naina.

Lilis was stunned to hear Naina's scream. Maybe Naina just hallucinated as if looking at her father. Anyway, how could her husband be here these nights. It's almost 12 p.m. Nathan's in town B and he's in the village.

"Naina, hurry in and get some sleep. Don't forget, the door is closed. Oh yeah, is Mbah Uti with you?" tanya Lilis was still sleeping in the room.

"Yes, ma'am" replied Naina.

"Assalamualaikum," Nathan's voice softly.

"Wa'alaikum greetings" replied Naina and Ms. Siti.

Naina hugged her father tightly while Bu Siti shed tears at Nathan's arrival at her home.

"Naina, miss daddy," said Naina.

"Dad too. Kangen you all. What about mom and sister, are they okay?" nathan asked withstanding his longing.

"Mom and sister are in the room. I'll just go in, it's mom's room. Naina used to sleep with Mbah Uti," said Naina seeing Mbah Uti.

Nathan let go of his embrace. She approached her mother-in-law and kissed Ms. Siti's hands full of haru.

"Meet Lilis. He's very hurt. Be patient with him" said Ms. Siti.

"Nathan understands" said Nathan. "Naina, I'll see you, you'll sleep at my command."

Naina and Ms. Siti went into the room to sleep.

Lilis started to close her eyes, as Naina's voice was no longer heard. Only a moment later did his eyes close, the sound of the door opening. And the sound of footsteps sounded slow. Lilis wanted to open her eyes, but her fatigue kept her closed and asleep.

A gentle touch stroked her neatly bound hair. Lilis felt this dream was so real. The touch made him open his eyes.

A man she loved very much, sitting on the edge of the bed. He looked smiling and slowly grabbed onto Lilis hand.

"Mas Nathan" he said.

The man just smiled looking at Lilis, without a word. It made Lilis convinced that this was just a dream. Dream of a woman who misses the man she loves. Lilis pulls Nathan's hand, until Nathan's body and face are on top of his. The handsome face that made his heart pound hard was smiling sweetly. The smile that made Lilis want to bite those lips.

Nathan begins to have no power to resist the pent-up passion, which has not touched his wife for nearly two months. Nathan silently said the prayer, as they used to do before it fused and with a bit of wildness, Nathan kissed his wife's lips. After getting a kiss back from Lilis, they go through a beautiful night as husband and wife. However, Lilis still considers if this is just a beautiful dream.

Around 3am, Lilis woke up and felt her body feel cold. Lilis was shocked, having found her body in a state without a thread. He should feel cold.

I deserve to be cold, I take off all my clothes. Though it was only in a dream, how could it really be this way, Inner Lilis.

Lilis wakes up and puts on her clothes back when she realizes that there is someone in her room. Even that man is giving milk to Revelation.

"My children ...," cried Lilis.

"Awake? Or still dreaming?" nathan smiled.

"Mas Nathan, this is just a dream. This is not true" Lilis said in disbelief.

Finished giving Revelation milk, Nathan again sits beside Lilis who is still confused between real and dream. Nathan then holds both of Lilis' cheeks.

"Still not believing? Let's repeat again?" nathan asked Lilis.

"Right, of course it's me" Nathan said as he removed his hand from Lilis's face.

Lilis shed tears. She still can't believe that Nathan is now at her house, even if they've been having a husband and wife relationship. Aren't they divorced? So what did they do, Zina?

"Mas, didn't Nathan divorce me, why did Nathan look for me in the village?" lilis asked as she looked towards Nathan.

"Who divorced you. I never want to and will never divorce you. Wasn't it before I left, I told you that?" said Nathan.

"But Nathan signed the divorce papers. In fact, Mas Nathan has hired a lawyer to take care of our divorce" Lilis said.

"Darling, why didn't you tell me the truth from the beginning that Grandpa had threatened you?" ask Nathan.
