Desta began to wake up from his coma. It was realized by one of the nurses who happened to be changing the infusion. The nurse immediately contacted the doctor responsible for Desta's condition.
Desta was declared fine, although it still had to require several more checks for the condition of his head. Now they can make efforts to treat his broken leg. It may take a long time and it takes extra patience to walk normally again.
The doctor immediately contacted Guntur as the person in charge of Desta's treatment costs. Thunder was not no problem helping Desta, he got opposition from Grandpa and from the Sita family. Especially Sita's sister, Tedy.
They assume that Desta deserves karma for what he did. Thunder was not supposed to help Desta pay for his treatment and medical expenses. He should have let Desta die without shelter.
But the principle of Thunder instilled by his mother that as evil as people are to us, we must not hate or revenge or even avenge evil to him. Because we'll be just like him, villain. Reply to him with kindness, show him, that even though we have been hurt, in ignorance, we have not turned evil like him.
Fortunately, there was Sita who supported her decision. Sita comes forward and mediates this debate. He was also the one who made the Damian family finally accept his decision to help Desta.
Sita's words that make Thunder fall in love with Sita.
"I respect the principle of the Thunder. He can be very good with other people who have no family relationship let alone with his own family? He could have been a good priest to Sita."
The words were simple, but it was a challenge for Thunder to become what Sita expected.
"Thunder," Desta's raucous voice shocked him.
"Desta, how are you doing now?" ask Thunder.
"I want to see Nathan. Ask him to come alone" said Desta slowly.
"Nathan?"
"Yes" replied Desta, closing his eyes.
Thunder did not know what Desta was aiming for, but he did have to obey the words of this sick person. He rushes to Nathan and asks him to come to the hospital. As Nathan raised his call, Thunder only said a few sentences.
"Nathan, Desta wants to see you. Already, just come. Looks like there's something important he wants to tell you."
Although Nathan was wondering, he eventually came to the hospital.
"Thunder, what's the matter? Why so suddenly?" ask Nathan.
"I don't know either. He had just come to his senses, but he immediately wanted to meet you, "Thunder replied.
"Me and Lilis just got out of here this morning. Is it possible that he came to his senses after hearing Lilis' words?" ask Nathan.
"It's possible, in her subconscious, that she feels guilty about Lilis. After Lilis forgave her, she wanted to thank you. Come in now," said Thunder.
Nathan entered slowly, and found Desta still lying weak. He approached and sat down on his bedside chair.
"Desta, what are you looking for me for?"
"Have you come, Nathan?" asked Desta while opening his eyes.
"Yes, what's looking for me?"
"Close, I'm gonna whisper something secret to you?" said Desta.
Nathan lowered his head and brought his ears closer right in front of Desta's mouth. Desta whispered something to Nathan that made his eyes widen and there was a sense of annoyance there. After finishing whispering, Desta apologized to Nathan, after which Desta closed his eyes again.
Nathan stood weakly, he walked out after he could control himself and control his emotions.
"How, Nathan. What's he talking about?" tanya Guntur curious.
"Wa'alaikum salam" replied the Thunder.
Thunder took a deep breath staring at Nathan's departure. There was something that Nathan kept secret.
Nathan returns home feeling troubled. What Desta said bothered him greatly. But everything has happened, maybe it is better to let everything go as it is now. It's all fine.
"Assalamualaikum" Nathan said after arriving home.
"Wa'alaikum greetings," replied Lilis and Naina almost simultaneously.
They kiss Nathan's hand. Both of them resembled brother and sister, his demeanor was almost similar. Nathan smiled and sat down between the two.
"Dad, Naina tomorrow there's a poetry reading contest. Can you come?" ask Naina.
"could. Dad's son in a poetry race?" nathan asked with a smile.
"Yes. Mom, tomorrow comes the same dad, huh?" Naina said.
"But I'm pregnant, let me come" Nathan said.
"Can't mom really come?" ask Naina sadly.
"Mas, I'm fine. Tomorrow we come to Naina's school together. It's the first time Naina has entered the race, let her have a fighting spirit" Lilis told Nathan.
"But you have to be careful. I feel sorry for you, my wife. You must be tired of your pregnancy. It was really big and it's about to give birth" Nathan said.
"Not tired, my mom. Maybe the one who saw must have felt so. But as women, this is the happiest time. Can conceive and get pregnant from a beloved husband. It's a gift from God. This is a sign of our love, which is irreplaceable. How many couples want it, but sometimes God has not granted their wish" Lilis smiled at her husband.
"Truely so. I still remember. I have an employee who has been married for 7 years. And for 7 years they had not been given a child. They often fight over trivial things. They even registered their divorce in a religious court. Suddenly, the wife was found to be pregnant. Finally they decided to go back and they are happy now. Now I just feel for myself the meaning of the presence of a child. We have to thank him because it is the most beautiful gift for us" Nathan said, stroking his wife's stomach.
"Take care of your child, because children are a valuable asset in the future. Children are the care of God that we must take good care of. Hopefully our children will be able to meet our expectations" said Lilis.
"Aamiinu. Tomorrow, we come to Naina's school. For Naina to feel the completeness of a family. I want to, he doesn't feel a lack of a father's affection. I wanted to be a real father to him so he wouldn't have to look for more affection from his real father" Nathan said.
"Thank you Nathan. You've done a good father's job for Naina. I'm sure, Naina will never realize that you're just her stepfather. You're better than his real father."
"I know, I promise, even though we have other children later, Naina is still our firstborn. There will be no difference between them. Both in terms of love, education and others. Even the inheritance, will remain evenly divided."
"Mas, why speak of the inheritance of all. What can we give them? What treasure? The most valuable asset is education. We give them education for their lives. Later when they are adults, they will work and make their own living."
"My wife dear, right now we do not have any inheritance that can be shared. But who knows, one day I could be rich again, have a lot of money and a lot of valuable assets. What can we give them?"
"Don't fantasize, fear me if fantasizing too high, later the fall can hurt very much. Come on, come down I help you down the stairs before you fall" said Lilis, patting her husband on the shoulder.
Nathan laughed at Lilis attitude. Sweetness of his wife's face when she smiles.
"Don't laugh out loud, Mom. Naina was sleeping" Lilis said, pointing to Naina, who had fallen asleep next to Nathan.
"We talked until we forgot that there was Naina. Maybe he heard us talk like he heard a fairy tale" Nathan said with a smile.
"It's possible, maybe our voice is as melodious as the voice of a singer" Lilis said.
Nathan hugged his wife's body lovingly. Feels perfect his life even without abundant treasures.
