Divorced for Poor

Divorced for Poor
Chapter 57. Guntur and Sita Meeting

Nathan's life has changed 180° after coming out of the Sugara family. So did the lives of Thunder and Desta. They enjoy the luxury they never had.

Guntur now lives with Grandpa, while Desta occupies a rented house that Guntur used to rent. Actually, Desta wanted to stay at Grandpa Edward's house with Thunder, but of course Thunder rejected his best friend's wishes.

Every night, Desta spends a lot of money, to go to the bar or to another place, which can satisfy him. He spent so much money that Thunder had given him. If his money runs out, he will ask for more from Thunder.

Desta even paid the woman of the night to vent her long-unchanted passion. Not just one, even whenever he wanted to, he would hire a different night woman. Of course it depends on how much he can afford the ladies that night.

If the money is a lot, he will get a young and beautiful woman even his age can be equivalent to a school child. But if the money is potluck, he can enjoy a woman his age.

Desta really enjoyed his money-strewn days.

More satisfied, because he could have driven Nathan out of the Sugara family and let Nathan live poor. She felt sure, surely Lilis now regretted having a poor husband like she used to be, unemployed. What can Nathan use to spoil Lilis?

Desta smiled as he sat down leisurely in his chair. It's a slacker base, being given any job is never okay. Desta was just lazy, while Thunder had to think hard to advance his efforts.

Actually, Thunder was also not very fond of Desta's attitude. However, considering that Desta was his only friend, Thunder allowed Desta to act as he wished. Until Thunder received a reprimand from Grandpa Edward for Desta's behavior.

Thunder sat down beside Grandpa who was enjoying a cup of tea. Thunder waited for what Grandfather wanted to say with an anxious heart. Thunder was anxious because ever since Nathan's departure from the family business, all businesses had become progressless. Of course this made Thunder's heart worry because he realized, he was just a high school graduate.

"Thunder, you know, why did Grandpa call you?" asked Grandpa while staring at Thunder.

"No idea, cake."

"Grandfather, you've given all of Nathan's responsibilities to you. How, do you have any problems?"

"Many, Cake. Grandfather knew I was poorly educated, unlike Nathan," Thunder replied sadly.

"You need to learn a lot to be more experienced. What if your work is partly done Seno. Grandpa asked him to take Nathan's place for a while," Grandpa said.

"I mean Grandpa?"

"Grandfather is still hoping, Nathan will return again to the Sugara family. Even though he is not a descendant of Sugara, he is still my grandson," Grandfather said sadly.

"Thunder also hopes that everything will return to how it used to be. Thunder could learn a lot from Nathan," Thunder said as he nodded.

"You too, have an assistant but his behavior is like that. Just like parasites. Work lazy if you ask for money to go forward first. Does he still ask you for money?"

Thunder fell silent at Grandpa's question. He was confused as to what to answer.

"Why shut up? Hhh, Grandpa is confused with you, where can you find a friend like Desta? Thunder, be careful with people like Desta," Grandfather reminded.

"Yes, Cake. Thunder will rebuke Desta so as not to be lazy," said Thunder with a smile.

"Grandfather is not willing to interfere in your affairs with Desta, but you are the heir to the Sugara family. Grandpa wants you to be assertive and do not be easily tempted to seduce friends to do things that can bring down the Sugara family. The burden of the Sugara family is in your hands."

"Thunder understood."

"Later, Grandpa will take you to a party to introduce you to some of Grandpa's friends."

"Good, Cake."

***

Grandpa and Thunder come to a birthday party of one of Grandpa's friends. There have been some very important people in the business world. They come by bringing their sons and daughters as if this place is a place to find a mate.

Among the many girls, Thunder's eyes were fixed on a very beautiful girl with a motherly face just like her mother when she was young. Thunder wanted to approach him, however, there was a sense of inferiority that suddenly came gnawing at his heart.

Thunder let go of his hope then sat down on a chair alone. At that moment the girl of his dreams came to him.

"Excuse me, can I sit here?" ask the girl with a smile.

"Of course," replied Thunder stuttering.

Thunder was amazed to see the beautiful face of the girl of his dreams up close. Really pretty.

"You, Grandpa Edward's granddaughter, aren't you? We have not been acquaintances, my name is Sita," said Sita as she extended her hand.

"Thunder," replied Thunder as he welcomed Sita's helping hand. "Sita, a pretty name as pretty as her man."

"You could have. Guntur, why are you sitting here alone?"

"I don't like parties very much. Maybe because I'm not used to parties like this."

"Actually, I don't really like parties like this either. Boring, because they will definitely only talk about business," Sita said with a sigh.

"really. All all business. Let's just say we go to dinner outside. I'll take you where you like. We're having dinner there, how about?" Thunder tried to offer himself up.

"Your idea is good too. I told Dad, wait for me here."

Sita walked slowly closer to her father to ask permission, while Thunder also asked Grandpa for permission to leave this party. Grandfather gave him permission, but Thunder had to contact Danda sir to pick him up.

After getting permission from their families, they went to an area that sold ordinary food instead of restaurants. Thunder was shocked, because Sita invited him to eat in a simple food stall. But because he had promised to take her to a place that Sita liked. Turns out this place?

They took a comfortable seat. Sita smiled looking at Thunder's face which looked puzzled.

"Thunder Mask, don't like this place?"

"Not dislike, but already used to eat in a place like this. You must know the story about my past, right?" ask Thunder.

"Yes, Sita had heard of it from my father. But never mind, why do we have to talk about all this. We come here to eat and be free from boring parties" said Sita smiling cheerfully.

Thunder returned Sita's smile. He then ordered two meatball noodles, the mainstay of this food stall.

After waiting for a while, came Sita's favorite food. Sita immediately enjoyed the food that she could not eat every day. Because the father, never allowed Sita to eat in a place like this.

Thunder ate while occasionally looking towards Sita who looked prettier while eating. His heart was pounding as their views clashed.

Am I in love with Sita?
