Divorced for Poor

Divorced for Poor
Chapter 38. Finding a residential solution

Lilis turned towards Nathan with mixed feelings. Lilis hoped that what she had said would not be heard by Nathan.

"Nathan, when did Nathan come?" ask Lilis in shock.

"Already from earlier. And you, should be leaving quickly. You don't flirt with my future wife anymore. Or I'll do more harm than I've ever done to you" Nathan said.

People were staring at Nathan and Desta with question marks. They whispered to each other and tried to understand the situation.

"You're the one who should have left. You're the one who wants to take my wife and my son. Aren't there many women I can marry? Why should he?" desta said annoyedly.

"You have no right to say she's your wife. You're divorced and she has the right to continue her life. You have no right to interfere."

"Right, you're Lilis's ex-husband, who abandoned Mba Lilis and her son, right? Just go, now Miss Lilis is getting married. Go!" said one of Lilis' customers followed another.

"You guys..."

They yelled at Desta to leave immediately for Lilis and her stall. Desta was annoyed, and with a vengeance he left while saying something to Nathan and Lilis.

"I'm sure you won't be happy. For I will always be present in your lives, even if you are married. I'm waiting for your bathrobe, Lilis."

Nathan was burning with emotion hearing Desta's words. Nathan was already preparing to hit Desta, but Lilis quickly restrained Nathan by grabbing his hand.

"Don't kotori your hand by hitting him. He deliberately provoked you into hitting him. The goal is definitely to hinder our marriage, Mas" said Lilis pleaded.

Nathan clasped Lilis by the hand, as he saw Desta leaving with a big smile, deliberately provoking the emotions of those who saw him.

"You're right, we're getting married soon. I don't want to ruin our happy mood with his presence" Nathan said as Desta was gone.

"Lilis, we're getting married in a few days. You'd better close this food stall first" Nathan said.

"Yes, Mas. Tomorrow I close for a week, I think it's enough, Mas" said Lilis made Nathan look at him sharply.

Lilis pretends not to know that Nathan is upset with her.

"Already, Mas. Today I closed a little spit, for preparation."

Nathan could only sigh. The pretentious nature of not knowing or pretending to be Lilis, makes Nathan addicted. It felt like he wanted to repay her but in another way.

After the stall closed, Nathan accidentally did not immediately drive Lilis home. He wanted to talk about something that Lilis had to agree to immediately.

"Lis, after marriage, I'll stay at your house. Do you mind?" ask Nathan.

"Ti don't. What do you mind for? Most of the husband and wife live wherever they can be together, it's still natural" replied Lilis.

"Right, I'm going to hitchhike at your house."

"Eating only? I usually give other people food almost every day. No problem."

"Lilis, don't you want to know why I want to stay at your house?"

"For what? In my village, the husband living in the house of the wife is common. Especially if the youngest child, surely the husband must be willing to give up to stay at the house of in-laws."

"Hhh, is that it?"

"Lis, you're an only child, I'm also Grandpa's only granddaughter. I can't leave Grandpa alone either. Then we have to how good," asked Nathan worriedly.

"Actually, this kind of problem is often a serious one. If no one wants to budge between husbands. Eventually they prefer to split up because they do not get the right solution. I'm also confused, which one of us should give up?" ask Lilis.

"Lis, I don't want to hear you're going to cancel our wedding. Especially thinking about separating after marriage. We will slowly find a solution together. In the meantime, we'll take turns living" Nathan replied.

"Replacement, you mean?"

"We just take turns. A week at your house, a week at my house. How, fair enough right?" nathan replied with a smile.

"Fair enough, but I feel like I'm just a little bit of a latitude."

"What is ngaleh latitude?" nathan asked confused by the term java.

"That means, life moves around, like a meteor star."

"It can be, yeah. For others, we think after marriage alone" Nathan said later.

"Yes already. I'd better be quick to pick up the clothes I'm gonna wear when I get married."

Nathan immediately helps Lilis close the stall and immediately drives Lilis home.

"Hi, bro. You don't look like someone here, do you?" tanyanya while sitting next to him.

"True, I'm from Java."

"There must be a lot of trouble. I see from the look on your face, it looks gloomy."

"You're great, you know I'm in a lot of trouble. Oh yeah, I don't have any friends here. Can we be friends?"

"of course. My name is Thunder."

"Desta."

They start to make friends and they seem to fit in perfectly with each other. They laughed and drank together.
