The Sadness of Adam
The four of us finally left the event that was supposed to last a long time, Adam silently stared out the car window with a blank look and clenched hands like holding back anger and disappointment.
Rashid in Indri's lap fell asleep at the wheel probably because he was too tired to play with me, the silence we felt all the way home no one dared to start a conversation to just melt the atmosphere.
I took the car to my house instead of Indri Grandpa and their Grandma's.
"Where is this?" adam asked at our house.
"This is Abi's house, Mother, Mas and Rashid's house" I answered, looking at Adam right behind me still in the parked car.
"This is Abi's house??" ask her again the net swept all the scenery around the house with still sitting in the car.
"Our house dear" replied Indri looking at Adam.
Indri enters first into the house to lay Rashid who is fast asleep in his arms.

"Like Abi" he said enthusiastically with a smile that adorned the 10-year-old child.
"So when did Adam live with Abi?" Ask her a little bit.
