I saw the clock on my wrist. Exactly 08:00. I then asked permission from the teacher who is currently teaching in my class that my stomach hurts and I wanted to go to the UKS. He then nodded and told one of my friends to accompany me, but I refused for a reason I could be alone.
I then walked to the UKS but on the way, suddenly someone pulled me and surprised me. I almost screamed if he didn't shut me up.
"Akhc. You surprised me. Can't you just call me without pulling me up like this?" I rolled my eyeballs, lazy.
"You why the hell? Called not to turn his head, even anger is not clear," he responded to the protest.
"Well, what now?" my many.
He then pulled my hand, sneaking around like a thief heading to the back of the classroom, not forgetting he was watching around, just in case anyone looked. Btw, this is the first time in my life, it certainly makes me anxious
"Well." Yeah." He showed me the wall.
"You wanna climb that wall? You're not kidding, are you? I wear a skirt, can I?"
"We just need to jump, there are boxes arranged," he pointed to a pile of boxes made of wood. The pile of boxes is high so we can reach the fence.
I followed Devan and then jumped where I thought it was safe. "Now what?" ask me after we jump.
"Run first." cried Devan then ran, making me reflex to chase after him. After being far away from school. Devan invited me to buy t-shirts so that later our clothes would not get dirty. Whose money? of course Devan's money.
"Take a hoodie," he said.
"Hot."
"Select heat or your skin becomes limp because of the sun?" insinuations. "Aren't you tired of treatment? wkwk."
I puffed my lips then went looking for my favorite pastel-colored hoodie, not forgetting the black jeans. For a girl like me, it's better to get hot than my skin care in vain.
"Where are we going and what's going on?"
"Beach Ancol, keep riding in my friend's car."
"Your friend?"
"Yes." Yeah."
I just nodded, following Devan's steps walking out of the mall. "Well, that's it," he pointed it at the little white car. In almost a car that is parked neatly in the parking lot of this mall.
"Hi yo's. How are you doing? Long time no see you," said Fadel. He's still the same since I last saw him, only he's taller than he used to be, not much has changed anyway, other than his face turning older. Naturally, he was three years older than us. "Luckily, you're taking me, bro. If not when can we meet again."
Devan just laughed and scratched his non-itchy nape. "He who?" ask Fadel to Devan when he sees me.
"You don't know him? Or did you forget about it?" ask Devan.
Fadel looked back at me intensely, observing every inch of detail of my face and then grinning his forehead, confused. Being looked at like that certainly made me blush in shame.
"He's Adel" said Devan.
"Adel?" Fadel seemed to think. "Oh that snot boy, huh? The one we used to ridicule because his face was dull?"
"Yep."
"Eh, am I that bad?" I rolled my eyeballs lazily and then poked my lips.
"Oh, Adel," call Fadel in his poetic tone. His hands were spread out in front of me, like he was hugging.
"Eh? You can't do it." Devan suddenly stood in front of me to block me from Fadel. "I don't allow that. Just be careful if you mess around," Devan threatened in a joking tone.
"Lu who? Ck. But really, she's really pretty" Fadel praised. "Do you have a boyfriend?" ask me what I responded with a headband. "If it be my girlfriend."
"No," Devan refused. "You playboy, you like to play with girl feelings, insensitive, rude, inconsiderate, can not be trusted, love sweet promises, likes"
"Woi stop. you want your mouth I love duct tape. That's not true" Now Fadel is threatening.
"That's it, let's go" I asked to stop the unclear debate.
"Fad, how was your lecture?" askaku, open the topic of conversation from earlier quiet.
"B aja's. But if you go to college later, you go to the same campus as me, yes" asked Fadel. I just smiled, didn't nod or shake. "Oh yeah, how long haven't we met? Last time I saw you when you were still close." He chuckles.
"That's a question or a mockery?" I'm a little bit of a quip.
"The last time we met was only fifth grade" replied Devan who suddenly entered the core of the conversation. "That's because you are continuing your education abroad. We're going to split up."
"Your nature still hasn't changed, well. Fuckin." Fadel turned to mock Devan. "Still that childish." I've seen Devan's mature nature just silent, do not want to refute or add.
"So-right." Devan folded his hands in front of his chest, sulking. Look, fix his childish he is
***
"Yeay, it's here, '" I joked as Fadel looked for a place to park his car.
Today the sky is overcast but this place is still crowded. At least this cloudy weather can reduce the feeling of heat in the clock that starts towards noon. Eve even became somewhat cold with the addition of a gentle breeze piercing my skin.
Devan then took me a picture. Every position I have is always broken. When I fixed my position, he if not annoying pushed me instead. I'm not even sure if there's a good picture of me later.
"Aren't you guys dating anyway?" asked Fadel with his face. Perhaps, he was lazy to serve both of us.
"No, the office of the doang." I smile.
"He's my adek who's really sweet. uwu." Devan pinched my cheek, revealing his ugly face in front of me as if he was going to consider me a child.
"Woii, sick." I took his hand off my cheek.
"Here you go, let's go have a drink. Thirsty," asked Fadel.
I followed the big steps of the two, walking towards a tent by the beach. Sit down and order a cold drink.
"Fadel payin" said Devan, putting an empty glass on the table.
"Eh? how me?"
"Because you're the oldest" I said on Devan's side.
"No," he refused.
"Huaaa Fadel jahaatt." I sulked like a child, as did Devan who started following me.
"You brought us here to eat. Huaaaa."
"You have to payariiinnn. Hikss hikss hiks."
"What the hell are you guys, so alay. Yes, yes, I payin," resigned Fadel. He then took the wallet in his pants pocket and handed over the blue money.
I walked after Devan, trying to align my steps with his rather large steps. Fadel's been left behind. Devan walked to the bridge, which people usually call the Bridge of Love. Devan then stopped, staring at the beautiful sea from the top of this bridge.
"Beautiful, yes," he murmured without turning his head. His sight was still heading towards that sea.
I did not reply, busy with my own thoughts as I looked towards the sea there. "I wish I could come here again with you."
His voice made me look up, looking at his face from the side. He then turned to me, "Del, thank you for being my best friend. I'm really happy" he said, looking directly at my bead, making me freeze. "Thank you also for being present and part of my dreams" she said, which made me grin. I don't understand the meaning of the dream he said.
"Thank you for being the worst man I've ever known," I replied with great emphasis but instead made him chuckle.
"Woii, you have the heart to leave, it's 12:00, you have to go back to school" said Fadel who came from nowhere. He's right, we have to get back to school.
On the way home, I saw a camera containing pictures of us. Among all the good photos of me and Devan is just one. In the photo I looked at Devan with his face pouting while Devan looked at me with a particular grin. I would wash the photo and frame it for me to keep in my room, hoping it could all be reworked.
If only time could be slowed.
