Devan did not come to school today. Even the message had not reached him because I was so lazy out to buy a quota. Take it easy, I'll tell her that she's coming to school, maybe tomorrow. But will Devan be angry because I am slow to preach?
"Good morning, Adel." Brother Rega suddenly just came to my class with his face that spread a friendly smile - unlike Kak Rega before, he looks more cheerful.
"Why, Brother?" I asked while looking at his dark brown bead eyes.
"Come to the cafeteria!" ask, but it sounds more like an order.
I stood up from my chair and walked beside Brother Rega who was holding my hand tightly. I don't care about the gazes of the girls who see me through the school corridor. Instead of being scared, I felt like I was becoming an artist. Observed all the way and praised in whispers. Absolutely stunning. Wait, I'm not crazy, am I?
"You wait here. I'll order it."
Brother Rega left without asking what my order was. Will he not order food for me? I'll catch up with him if that really happens. I then took my best place to sit. My gaze suddenly shifted to Wildan who had just walked into the canteen. He looked at me and walked up to me who was sitting alone.
"What's wrong?" my many.
"Devan is not going to school. I'll accompany you here." He pulled the chair in front of me.
Brother Rega suddenly came before I responded to Wildan's remark. Kak Rega put a plate of fried rice and hodgepodge he carried on the table and pulled a chair beside Wildan. I also reflexively moved to the chair beside me so that it was directly facing Kak Rega.
"It's your fried rice." Kak Rega put the fried rice plate in front of me without caring about Wildan's whereabouts there. He then started to eat his food in a relaxed manner.
"Ekhem." Wildan who seemed to feel neglected or maybe curious, pretended to cough so as to make Kak Rega turn his head.
"What's wrong?" asked Kak Rega, turned to him and stopped his meal for a moment.
"Sorry, Brother. Who's Adel's brother?" ask Wildan kindly.
"His girlfriend" replied Brother Rega briefly, densely and clearly then returned to focus on his food.
Without saying goodbye, Wildan stood up and left us both. He left with his face bent. It seems he is angry. I stared at Wildan's expression trying to hold back my laughter. Really, his expression was really funny. If only I had gotten along with Brother Rega or at least Devan who was in front of me at this moment, I might have laughed out loud. That funny face was more domineering than her angry face. Jeez, humor.
"He who?" ask Kak Rega curious.
"Former classmate, brother. We used to be in class X class," I replied.
"He seems to like you,” kekeh Kak Rega.
Is it so obvious that Wildan showed his feelings for me? But I'm an insensitive Adel, I even found out Wildan liked me from Devan. Looks like I have to learn to be more sensitive to my surroundings .
"Btw, how did you know that I like fried rice?" ask me to change the subject.
“Everytime you go to the cafeteria must be this message,” he replied.
“Eh?” my reflexes.
“This is the punch, you like pedis food, don't you?”
“Eh?” I was spontaneous, again.
He looked at me, smiled and continued eating. Relax, Del, that's the only two she knows about me. It might just be a coincidence and how could he possibly know so much about me.
I started eating my favorite food, fried rice that I had mixed with lombok. I can't wait to fulfill that request for worms in my stomach.
"Eh? Why does my sister see me like that?" I asked when I realized he was looking at me. Instead of turning her face away, she smiled.
"You always say 'Eh'." He's laughing a little. "If you notice, you're really pretty. But what's wrong with staring at your own boyfriend?"
Blushes. My cheeks are red, I'm sure of it. Instead of all my face turning red, as red as a boiled crab, I would rather finish my meal quickly - but still try gracefully - and get out of here
“Adel, just let's have a race. It may be that you are interested in participating in astronomical subjects,”, said Kak Rega who made me turn my head.
“Kakak will also come?”
“Seems like. This opportunity must be taken advantage of, right? You've never been to a race anyway. Want to try a new experience?”
“I haven't learned, Brother.”
“Because I told you earlier, Darling.” Brother Rega ruffled my hair. The sensation was completely different than when the father did it. “The competition is still two months. It's still enough for you to learn, Del,”.
“Only astro subjects?” ask again.
“Nine subjects. But don't you have interest and talent in astro?” Brother Rega chuckled.
I kept quiet and continued eating. I have always been interested in astronomy. It's just that it's about talent and knowledge, I nil both things. Huaaa, I'll consider it. And this makes the atmosphere at this table quiet, even though the atmosphere of this cafeteria is noisy.
“Rega, “ call someone who makes us both look - my name is not Rega anyway.
“Hai, Dira.”
“Who is he?” ask someone called Kak Rega by the name of Dira.
“Adel,” replied Kak Rega.
“Dira.” The man stretched out his hand which I retorted while saying my name back. “Oh yes, I went there first,” pointed it at someone who was waving at him. Me and Brother Rega just looked at it with a smile. A few seconds later, Brother Dira was sitting next to the person he pointed at earlier.
“Who is he, Brother?” manya curious.
“Didn't he introduce himself?”
I poked my lips. Kak Dira just introduced his name. Her class hasn't been, and more importantly I want to know is her relationship with Kak Rega. Sorry, but my curiosity suddenly appeared.
“He's just a friend, Del,” replied Kak Rega then shut up for a moment, taking a breath. “Actually he likes me.”
“Big bang kepedean,” candaku.
“You must have never felt his name in the same shoot girl,” replied Kak Rega flat, go back to devouring his food. I bit my lower lip, furious. Can this handsome guy who has the status of a girlfriend in front of me be broken with all my heart?
“Why look at me like that? You must be wondering why I didn't call you my girlfriend in front of him,” said Kak Rega.
Brother, let me be clear. It's not a curious face, it's a furious face. Huaaa am I not good at making facial expressions so that curious faces are equated with furious faces.
“I know, Brother. Big brother definitely doesn't want to hurt his feelings, does he? It would be very painful if you know the scourge that once rejected you on the grounds ‘I don't want to date’ instead have a new boyfriend,” kekehku.
“Hai.” Brother Rega looked at me sharply. “That's not why I turned it down.”
“Keep why brother shot me in.” Speech is cut off when the doorbell rings. "Wait, Brother,” stopped me when I saw Kak Rega starting to stand up from his chair so he made him sit back.
"What's wrong?" tannya
.
"Dad I want to see Brother, today can I?" I concluded slowly, looking into his eyes as if demanding an answer.
"Eh?"
"That's the fourth 'Eh." He smiled again. "I'll come by later."

"What is first love?" ask me to start the topic of conversation in that quiet car.
"First love?" Rega repeated my question.
"Yes, Brother."
"Hm." Rega seemed to think. "First love is when you start to know what it's like to be in love. Well when you fall in love, you'll remember the person more often, smile because of his behavior or you yourself even misbehave when in front of him," obviously Kak Rega while still looking towards the street.
"Whose sister's first love?" manya curious.
"You" he answered, which made me misbehave.
"If you?"
"I don't know, Brother,” I answered honestly.
She smiles. "Have you ever been in love?"
"I don't know either, Brother."
"So you know, you've dated before?" ask Rega again.
"No, brother."
"That means, it could be me who will be your first love," said Kak Rega casually while laughing.
"Later?" I frowned, confused.
"I know, Del. You don't love me yet. I don't know why you accepted me. Even so, I am grateful for the opportunity that you gave me, and I believe that someday, you will love me," Rega said optimistically.
I kept quiet, not knowing what to say. Brother Rega seems right, I don't love him yet even though I'm his girlfriend. I'm sorry, Brother. I'll try to love you. And to be honest, it wasn't me who gave you a chance, but it was you who gave it to me, brother.
"My heart is beating faster, Del?" ask Kak Rega when we are in front of my house. I got out of the car, and so did he.
"Father will not eat people kok, Kak,” kekehku when he saw his nervous expression for the second time.
I opened the door, entered the house followed by Sister Rega. I told him to come in first.
"Sit down, Brother." Rega then sat down. He was still nervous, his face down. "Just calm down, brother. Said someone, anyway, ‘Santuy’. I go in and make a drink first, brother," I said.
"Wait, Del." He held my hand. "No need, just accompany me here" he asked.
"Just a minute, Brother." I tried to convince her and she finally let me go.
I walked into the kitchen, made two glasses of cold drink. One for him and one for dad if he comes home later.
"You only brought drinks?" ask Mommy on the sidelines of busy cooking. "Bring me some food. It's in the closet. "
I picked up the food you meant and returned to the living room, carrying the tray carefully. By the time I went to the living room, Dad had also come home. I placed the tray on the table and greeted father with a warm hug, just like before.
"So this is your girlfriend, Cil?" ask me to look at Brother Rega. Rega then stood up and shook his hand and sat back down as he invited her.
"What's your name?" ask Dad.
"Reg, Om."
"What class?"
"Class 12, Om."
"Where to stay?"
"Beautiful house, Om."
"What's your father's name?"
"Dandi, Om."
"What an architect, right?"
"Yes, Om."
"That's great for your father. I'm really amazed by him. Know it? He was a close friend of mine when Junior High first. He was so diligent and smart, too" said the father.
Rega's sister only responded with a small laugh.
"Cil, go to your room, take a shower, you stink," said Dad suddenly turning to look at me, making me grunt annoyed.
Do I really smell? I walked lazily to the bathroom and then took a bath, leaving Kak Rega alone with my father. Maybe they have important conversations that I don't have to listen to.
After bathing and getting dressed, I dried my hair with a hair dryer, let it unravel and walked back to meet them.
" Kawaii,” said Father and Kak Rega together in front of the television. They seem to be watching anime. Ok, my dad does love - but rarely - watching anime, maybe Kak Rega too.
"Cil, go eat. They had eaten first because you took a shower for so long" said the mother who is currently busy playing her phone in a lounge chair in the corner of the room.
I ate while looking at how seriously they looked scene after scene, as if without blinking a single bit. They really focus on watching.
"Sister, it's three o'clock, '" I said after cleaning up my food. Rega's father and brother then turned their heads towards me which was the source of the voice. Brother Rega's been here an hour. That doesn't matter, Sih.”
"Seriously?" Rega then turned to staring at the wall clock. "I have to go home."
"Why rush?" ask dad.
"I have to take my mama away, Om." she replied and then shook my father's hand and mother.
"Come here often, Yes."
“Iya, Om,” replied Kak Rega accompanied by a nod. I'm taking Brother Rega out of the house. He then drove his car after saying goodbye to me.
I went back inside the house, found my father who now switched to watching the news. Dad looked at me, looked at me and nodded and smiled. It was a sign that he agreed with my choice.
They seem to get along so quickly.
