Trapped In Ambiguity

Trapped In Ambiguity
Aneh

A few days had passed when I spoke to Gergia at that Cafe. Everything is back to normal. Devan who every hour of rest always goes to class, Kak Rega who is still the same as usual, and Gergia who has made new friends so it is not always with Devanku.

"Dellong, your cell phone snapped," Devan raised his hand. Without asking any further, I gave my phone away. "Come to the mall. I sent you a message."

"Eh? I don't bring money."

"Just relax, I'll bring more money."

"So I'm free to choose anything?" candaku.

He's nodding. What's the matter? I doubt Devan is in front of me, in this parking lot, not the same Devan I saw yesterday and a few years before.

"Let's go up,"

"Come," my spirit. When else is Devan as kind-hearted as he is today.

***

"What do you want to buy?" tanyakanya.

"Buy couple's clothes yok. This shirt still wants to be worn tomorrow" I said while looking at the white clothes I was wearing.

"Later Rega was angry when he bought a couple's shirt."

"Hadeuh, Brother Rega is not that person."

"Jude, yok."

I pulled her hand over to the place I used to go if I wanted to buy a hoodie. Besides being cheap, the quality of the fabric in that place is also good, not to mention if it is very comfortable to wear.

"Again army color or mustard color?" I was holding two different hoodies of that color.

"Army, yes" he replied.

"OK, what size?"

"I'm L, You're XXL," He chuckled.

"You think my body is so big? Even your fatties." I looked at him sharply. "Come on, get the pants."

I then went into the dressing room. After making sure there was no blemish for lurking, I began to change my clothes, the hair that had been tied I let it unravel.

"For so long," greeted Devan when I just opened the door."Widih, our couple."

"Yamaapp. Wait, you haven't opened the price tag yet?" I asked when I saw the white paper hanging on his neck collar.

"Let people know that this is a new shirt" he replied.

"Yaudah," I replied indifferently, walking towards the cashier.

"Eh, Dellong, help the book," he shouted and ran after me.

After removing the price tag, Devan then paid for the hoodie and packed our uniforms in paper bags.

"You buy what else" he asked.

"Jalan-jalan aja, later if there is something interesting, we buy," said I.

Devan and I walked around the mall. I didn't see anything that caught my attention until now.

"Dellong, stay here." Devan pulls my hand towards the accessories store.

"What do you want to buy?" ask when we were there.

"What necklace is the bracelet?" tanyakanya. "Bracelet, please" he replied without waiting for my answer.

"Devan, good," I pointed at the brown bracelet. Bracelets with a blend of wood and also fabric. Devan looked at the bracelet, nodded, and advised me to take it. That's of course.

Devan bought three bracelets while I only had two. I put it on my arm even though it was covered in a hoodie.

We went back for a walk, circling this crowded mall.

"You're hungry, aren't you?"

"Eating junkfood is like good ice cream."

"Kuy."

Today Devan is really weird. He was no longer stingy and was also so obedient. Usually he would argue me to eat this, eat that. Really, this is really weird. But what's wrong with enjoying today first, strangely later.

"Udah can not wait," I said seeing my food message has been served in front of me. It's like a combo package.

"Hua, who cares about the same weight at this time," said Devan while eating his food.

"You're right."

***

"Devan is already 4," I said when I saw the large wall clock displayed on the wall of the mall.

"I did not realize that we have been around this mall for 3 hours more," he said. He then checked his watch to make sure that it showed the correct number.

"Come home" take me.

"Later on."

I think Devan has asked permission from my father anyway, so I won't be angry when I come home late.

"So where are we going?" my many.

"I'm bored at the mall, going to the zoo."

"May, but stop by the broken house, want to put this much groceries. We're going through my front house anyway." I stuck that bag.

"Of course" he said.

We both walked to the parking lot.Devan then drove his old motorbike and stopped it in front of my house.

I then ran, headed to my room and kept the stuff. There are 8 bags of groceries that I just put on the bed.

"Dad, Mother, I'm leaving again" I shouted running back to Devan who was still sitting quietly on his motorcycle.

"Let's go" he said.

***

"Eh, Cil, your twin" he pointed at the gorilla cage on my left. I turned and found a gorilla eating a snack this afternoon.

"Don't it look like you, huh?" askaku.

"Let's get closer," Devan pulled my hand and took me right in front of the cage. "Hi gorilla, knows me, he's my pricili" he yelled at the gorilla.

I looked at him and smiled and he looked back at me, making our gazes meet, a few seconds later, laughing.

"It's my turn now." I pulled his hand while running, heading towards a cage some distance away from here.

"Why go to the tiger's cage?" tanyakanya.

"Wait a moment" I took off my hand and began to turn towards the sleeping tiger. "Hi, tiger, knows, he's Devanku. If you're hungry, just meet him, but don't eat him, because I love him" I shouted.

"You're this." Devan hit my head and chuckled softly.

"Sick to know, ' I complained as I rubbed my head.

"Lebay," actually.

We then went around the zoo until there was a warning to go home because the zoo would be closed, although for a while, I was quite satisfied to walk around this place.

"Adel, eat yuk, be hungry."

"There's a fried rice vendor close by from here. It's good, I buy it there a lot."

***

"The fried rice is really good, Del," Devan said as we were on the bike.

Tonight the streets were quite quiet as the sky had just turned dark. At times like this, people in the city where I live would prefer to stay at home and chat with their families.

"And I told you, it's delicious. Cheap again," I said.

"You love to look for the cheap,"

"Eh? Make no mistake, if something is cheap, why should it be expensive," I cheered.

Devan then stopped his motorbike in a park, the same park where I expressed my feelings for Devan, the same place I felt lonely in a crowded place at that time.

The park is starting to get crowded, people are starting to arrive with their families, or maybe their girlfriends. Although not as crowded as Sunday night, still this place is still crowded.

Devan walked to an empty park bench and sat down quietly, staring at the activity in front of us.

"Why come here?" my many.

"Can't you come here?" askalanya.

"That's nothing."

Silence enveloped us. I had no idea what topic to start when I saw Devan who was seriously staring at the direction in front of him, not turning his head in the slightest. It seems he is daydreaming.

"Dellong, let's take a photo" he said suddenly.

"Tumben really."

"Let's remember, when was the last time we took a photo together? That time on the beach isn't it? And in retrospect, we rarely take photos together."

"Jeez, yaudah, kuy."

Devan then held his phone in front of us. I took a pose by squeezing the face that other people said 'ugly face'. Devan did the same.

"1x aja?" I asked when Devan put his phone back in his pocket.

"What's important is, come on, I'll take you home." Devan moved and I followed him.

Devan then drove me home. Arriving at home, Devan also entered the house. He said he wanted to meet his father and mother.

Devan spent about 1 hour in this house. When he shook the hands of his father and mother to go home, I immediately went to the room and went to get the groceries. I gave her the bag before she left the house.

"Take me forward, Dellong,"

"Eh? Why?" my many.

"Follow me," Devan pulled my hand in front of my father and mother, but their response was normal.

"Why did you tell me to drive you here?" I said when Devan put the stuff I gave him on the side of his bike.

"Can I ask for one thing?" he asked while looking at my eyes.

"What?" askaku.

"May I hug you?"

I'm surprised, it's really weird. Devan hugged me a lot, but this time it felt different. She used to hug me spontaneously, the last time she hugged me when she was her happy song when she was transferred to that special class.

"You're really weird today, Devan. Usually you just hug me without asking for permission." I rolled my eyeballs, lazy.

After I said that, Devan immediately hugged me, taking me into his warm embrace. I then returned the hug, resting my head on the chest of his field. It makes me feel comfortable.

He took off his embrace, then held onto my shoulder, looking back at my eyes fixedly.

"Thank you, Pricilia Adel." He smiled, then rode on his bike, driving him away from this house.

My Devan today is really weird.
