“Mr Sebastian?” Cardenas' lawyer, mentioned the name that made Paloma instantly stupefied in disbelief.
Paloma instantly popped his head from behind the door. A pair of beautiful hazel eyes were still wide, because it was unexpected that the rich widower of the olive plantation owner had been in front of the door of the house he rented. “You? Here?” Paloma opened the door a little wider. “How can you know that I live here?” tanyanya. "You stalking me?" hatchlings.
“There is nothing I cannot do, Paloma,” Sebastian replied accompanied by a calm smile to the beautiful woman. A moment later, Sebastian turned his gaze to Lawyer Cardenas. “You are here too, Mr Lawyer?” ask the handsome forty-year-old.
“I can be anywhere, Mr. Sebastian,” says the man whose full name is Jose Alvaro Cardenas. “There are matters to be negotiated with Mrs Hernandez,” said the young lawyer in the sky blue shirt. He also flashed a calm smile to Sebastian.
“Oh, okay. Apparently, I came at an inopportune time,” Sebastian said after hearing Lawyer Cardenas' reply. His eyes look different. There was a sense of disappointment implied, in the gaze of that pair of honey brown irises. “I'm sorry.” Sebastian turned the body. Just as he was about to step away, the sound of the ringing call first stopped him.
Sebastian's stunned. He checked the incoming call, which turned out to be from Abelardo. “Holla,” greet Sebastian spunky.
“Can you help me, Sebastian?” ask Abelardo from across the street.
“Help what?” Sebastian asked back.
“Please tell Mrs Hernandez, that we already know the name of the owner of the vehicle who is alleged to have hit the car driven by Rafael Hernandez,” pinta Abelardo.
Sebastian was silent for a moment. He didn't answer immediately. The man turned to Paloma and Lawyer Cardenas, who were still standing in the doorway. A smile on his face. Sebastian's attitude that makes Paloma became astonished. Moreover, because the man turned around and walked back to the mother of Luz Maria.
“Good. I'll call you later,” Sebastian closed. He ended the conversation on the phone with Abelardo. Sebastian smiled back at Paloma.
“What's up?” tanya Paloma was curious.
“Abelardo just called me,” Sebastian replied. “He asked me to deliver this important news to you,” said the wealthy widower.
“Why did Police Inspector Lujan not contact me directly?” paloma asked who seemed to object to Abelardo's actions. He again wanted to protest loudly, to the man who was also Sebastian's friend.
“Maybe he was afraid of your scolding,” Sebastian's joking glare from Paloma. If it was just the two of them, Paloma would have exploded in front of Sebastian. The beautiful widow only snorted in annoyance. The same goes for Cardenas' lawyer. The man smelled his lips to hold back the laughter. He doesn't want to have problems with his clients.
“So, how? Are you coming with me to the police station?” ask Sebastian.
“One coincidence. I will also accompany Mrs Hernandez, to see the evidence collected by the police and investigators,” said Cardenas' lawyer.
“I ...” Paloma who had been feeling annoyed, this time looked doubtful. He looked at the faces of the two handsome men in front and beside him in turn. In the end, Paloma decided to hitch a ride in Lawyer Cardenas' car. “I will follow behind your vehicle,” break it before getting ready, then say goodbye to Teress who is guarding Luz Maria.
The two-hour drive was noticeably longer for Paloma. He can't be patient waiting for the results of Abelardo's investigation. Cold sweat started to pour out from Paloma's palm, so he had to rub it against the skirt he was wearing.
“All will be well, Mrs Hernandez,” said Lawyer Cardenas, who from the beginning noticed Paloma's movements.
“Do I look nervous?” ask Paloma shyly.
“Whoever is in your position, will surely feel the same,” Lawyer Cardenas replied with a gentle smile.
Paloma did not respond again. They had already arrived in front of the five-story building, which was the police headquarters where Abelardo worked. Without waiting for Lawyer Cardenas to get off his vehicle, Paloma first opened the car door and half ran towards Sebastian who came first. The rich widower was waiting beside the entrance.
“Come,” take Sebastian with you as you reach out to Paloma. He was ready, should Paloma refuse him outright. But Sebastian doesn't care about that. The handsome man, just wanted to hold a finger lentik Paloma.
“Good day, my friend." Sebastian takes his grip off Paloma, then stretches out his hand. He was preparing to cuddle with Abelardo.
“I am relieved to have solved this case." Abelardo responded by hugging Sebastian, patting the rich widower on the back.
“How was the result?” paloma asked impatiently.
“Sit first, Mistress ...” Abelardo stopped his words, as Lawyer Cardenas walked in and nodded politely at him.
“He's my lawyer,” Paloma explained before being asked.
“Good. Please sit down, all." Abelardo pointed his hand at the empty seats available. The three of them sat tensely waiting for Abelardo, who was taking a stack of files from his desk.
“Tim investigators have found the owner of the SUV car whose license plate number we successfully identified.” Abelardo handed a copy of the license plate to each of the people in his room. “The car was registered in the name of Mrs Tatiana Vidal,” Abelardo said.
Paloma held the piece of paper with trembling hands. He looked at the image before him intently. “Owned Tatiana Vidal?” lirih.
“Ya, Mistress. We also managed to conclude, that Mr. Sebastian Castaneda has absolutely nothing to do with this accident,”.
Paloma gasped, then turned to Sebastian. The handsome man revealed a gentle smile, as Paloma turned to him. Regrets begin to appear in the heart, which gradually turns to guilt.
Paloma's been bad for Sebastian. However, not once did the owner of the largest olive plantation in Porcuna reply. “Ja-so .. Tatiana Vidal .. which ...," said Paloma.
“Ya, Mistress. Your husband's ex-wife apparently harmed Mr. Rafael Hernandez many years ago. This time, he repeated it again,” explained Abelardo. “He learned that Mr. Hernandez was back in Spain,”.
“Then, after this how?” ask Cardenas' lawyer.
“We have issued an arrest warrant. Right now, my men are coordinating with the Seville police. They have already moved to the Vidal Family residence,” replied Abelardo.
“Thank God,” says Lawyer Cardenas. “How, Mistress? Are you satisfied to receive the results of the investigation from the police?” The young lawyer turned his attention to Paloma.
“Yes, I can accept all this." Paloma nodded while smiling stiffly. His hazel eyes were not at all separated from Sebastian, who was also looking at him.
“Alright, then. Excuse me for leaving for Seville." Subtle banishment was uttered by Abelardo, aiming for his guests to immediately retreat.
“Thank you so much for everything." Sebastian stood up and greeted his friend enthusiastically, followed by Paloma. Unceasingly, the beautiful widow thanked Abelardo.
“Can we talk for a minute?” pinta Paloma, shortly after the three of them were outside the police building.
“Sure.” Sebastian did it without a second thought. He then turned to Lawyer Cardenas who was still standing there. “Together with him too?” he asked while pointing his index finger at the man younger than him.
“No. Both,” Paloma replied.
“Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you wanted to talk about this case,” said Attorney Cardenas. “Then, excuse me. I'm waiting for you in the car,” pampitnya.
“No need, Mr. Lawyer. I'll take Paloma home to Granada,” Sebastian said.
