The Casa Del Castaneda

The Casa Del Castaneda
A Surprise Full Welcome

Rogelio's plane landed at Seville International Airport 196 kilometers away from Sebastian's estate in Porcuna. Twelve hours had the man to go through, to arrive at a continent very far from where he lived.

Rogelio paid no heed to the stinging fatigue.

He doesn't care about jet lag and the considerable time difference between Spain and Mexico. In the middle-aged man's mind, already imagined the look of the face of a husband and wife who he had longed for years.

A private guide has also hired Rogelio online, to accompany his trip this time.

“Mr Gallardo?” greet a much younger man.

Rogelio estimated the driver's age to be the same as Rafael's. He nodded kindly, as the guide greeted him.

“Santiago Nunez?” rogelio reached out with his hand.

“Yes, we talked on the phone yesterday, sir. I'll take you anywhere while in Spain,” said the guide named Santiago was polite.

“Ah, yes. Can you take me to this address?” Rogelio handed a piece of paper with the address on the guide.

“Vidal Family Home?” santiago.

“You know him? Who is Vidal?” ask Rogelio.

“Nobody does not know the name Vidal in this city, Sir. They are a rich family, with a business sector that controls most of the city of Sevilla,” Santiago replied with confidence.

“This is weird.” Rogelio rubbed his chin overgrown with fine feathers. “Why did that detective give me someone else's address?”

“Indeed, who would you like to look for, Mr?” ask Santiago.

“My son. Rafael Hernandez,” Rogelio replied.

“Ah, is it possible that she is Madam Tatiana's new husband?” guess Santiago while pointing his index finger.

“It's impossible. My son is married. She could not have married another willa,” Rogelio argued.

“Oh, I'm sorry, sir. I just thought about it. Madame Tatiana is quite famous. He has a lot of followers on social media, and I was one of them,” Santiago said grimacingly, then laughing loudly.

“Already. I don't want us to waste time. Take me to that address right now,” pinta Rogelio getting impatient.

“Alright, Sir. Please.” Unasked, Santiago takes over Rogelio's trolley of belongings. The man donated it until he arrived at the parking area. The man had also rented out a very comfortable luxury car. According to Rogelio's request.

“Please enter, Mr.” Santiago half bent. He opened the car door wide, allowing Rogelio to enter. After the client sits comfortably, then he runs the vehicle to the address mentioned earlier.

It took them fifteen minutes on the way, until they arrived at a luxury residential complex located not far from the city center. Santiago stops the vehicle right in front of a house that looks the most luxurious, when compared to the other house they have passed.

Rogelio was confused. He stood in front of the sturdy and towering gate, until someone in a neat suit came over. “Buen day (Good morning). Is there anything I can help you with?” ask the man.

“Ah, good morning too. This master wants to meet with Mrs Tatiana,” replied Santiago while directing a hand at Rogelio. The Mexican man immediately glared at Santiago.

“I'm not going to see Tatiana. I'm looking for Rafael Hernandez!” rogelio protested in a whisper.

“I really understand this area, Sir. This luxury home is owned by Mrs Tatiana Vidal,” said Santiago.

“Have you made an appointment before?” the man asked, interrupting the small debate between Rogelio and Santiago.

Rogelio is forced to boast, to make it easier for him to meet with homeowners who are certainly not ordinary people. He also issued an identity card, as well as a special card indicating that Rogelio was one of the honorary citizens chosen by the government.

“Ah, forgive my impoliteness, Sir. Please sign. I will tell this first to Madam Tatiana.” The man in a neat suit then opened the gate wide, so that the car driven by Santiago can enter the front yard of the magnificent house freely.

After arriving inside the courtyard, Rogelio rushed out of the vehicle. He stood up for a moment while circulating a glance at every corner of that vast courtyard.

However, this did not last long, because the man had invited him in.

“Please sit down, Sir." The bodyguard invited Rogelio to sit in the living room, leaving him there.

Not long after, the man returned. He directs Rogelio to another room, which turns out to be a workspace.

A maniacal woman with a haughty-looking attitude, noticed the tall figure of Rogelio from head to toe. “Ajudanku says that you are from Mexico. Really?” ask her with her chin slightly raised.

“You can check in the search engine, who Rogelio Gallardo really is,” Rogelio said.

The woman who was none other than Tatiana, only responded with a cynical smile, before typing something on her laptop keyboard. A moment later, the face water decorated with thick makeup changed instantly. He was stunned as he occasionally glanced at Rogelio.

“How?” tanya Rogelio was calm.

“Ah, yes. You are really Mr. Gallardo,” said Tatiana who initially put on a ketus face. He was suddenly friendly and full of smiles. “Please sit down, Sir. What can I help you with? How can a person as important as you travel long distances without being accompanied by anyone?” tanya Tatiana mince words.

“Inadvertently, since this is a secret trip,” replied Rogelio to slow down his voice.

“Consecration?” repeat Tatiana while frowning.

“To be honest, I came here to look for my son who has been missing for years. I hired a private detective. Apparently, he got the address of this house. It confused me,” Rogelio said

“Who is your son's name?” ask Tatiana. He began to be interested in the explanation of the middle-aged man before him.

“Rafael Hernandez. He left Mexico about six years ago, ” replied Rogelio who immediately made Tatiana slumped perfectly.

“You are looking for Rafael Hernandez?” Tatiana immediately got up from her seat, then approached Rogelio.

“Then, the private detective was right. Your son is in this house, Father-in-law,” welcomes him with a smile.

In contrast to Rogelio who increasingly feel astonished. “Dad in-law?” repeat with a dislike tone.

“Yes. If it is true that you are the father of Rafael, then it means that I am your son-in-law,” replied Tatiana confidently.

“I mean ... you ... You married Rafael?” Rogelio.

“Yes, Father-in-law. We have been going through a marriage for five years. However, until now we have not been blessed with offspring,” explained Tatiana. A beautiful smile does not disappear from his face.

“This is impossible!” Rogelio took a few steps back. He felt weak, so he had to hold on to the back of the sofa located not far from where he stood.

“Why is it impossible?” Tatiana uttered a protest sentence, folding both hands on her chest.

“Rafael is unlikely to marry you, because he is already married to Paloma,” desis Rogelio
