Paloma. He shifted his eyes. The young woman did not want to fight Sebastian's sharp glare, which was addressed directly to her. He preferred to bow, amid the wide smiles of Rogelio, Rafael, and other invited guests.

Not wanting to dissolve in erratic thoughts, Sebastian put down the glass he was holding. He walked gallantly towards Paloma who had lost his joy again. The thirty-seven-year-old handsome widower stood before the woman who had made his world go back to spinning, after a long silence. “We must speak,” Sebastian said, in a voice that sounded so deep.

“What is this?” ask Rogelio. He who had been curious since earlier, felt given a way to find out the truth.

“I want to talk to your son-in-law, Mr. Gallardo,” Sebastian replied without taking his eyes off Paloma who was just downcast. Sebastian grabbed the hand of the short-haired young lady. He intended to take Paloma away from the party hall.

However, before the owner of the largest olive plantation in Porcuna did his intention, Rogelio first held Sebastian's hand which was blocking Paloma's wrist. “Let go of my son-in-law's hand, Mr. Castaneda. You do not allow to be rude to Paloma,” said the middle-aged man.

Sebastian stared hard at Rogelio. Smiles and familiarity that had been established, vanished between the two. “I want to talk alone with my lover,” reply full of emphasis.

“Love?” Rogelio knitted his brows. He looked at Paloma, as if asking for an explanation from the son-in-law who did not say a word.

“Speak, Paloma.” Sebastian's tone is still full of emphasis. He cast a glare at the woman who chose to pass from before the three men.

Paloma raised the bottom of her dress. He stepped hurriedly down the corridor until he arrived at the backyard of the majestic Rogelio Residence. He was standing near the wall. In front of him, a vast expanse of rugged scenery. Beautiful but scary. Moreover, because it is covered with dim nights decorated with garden lights that are installed along the parapet, with a distance that has been arranged in such a way.

The night breeze blew slowly, hitting the face and moving Paloma's short hair. The clasping fingers tightly grasped the barrier wall earlier. There was a raging feeling that he could not freely express. Paloma can only slow down.

“What does all this mean?” Sebastian's voice suddenly sounded behind Paloma.

“I'm sorry, Sebastian,” Paloma said in between her stuffing.

“What should I forgive? I don't even understand any of this. You didn't say anything to me.” Sebastian's tone still sounded unfriendly.

“I'm confused how to convey it to you,” reply Paloma shriveled.

“Bingung?” Sebastian smiled cynically. “Where is the courage of the Paloma I know?”

“Everything is gone! All gone!” Paloma reverses. He seemed to be going against Sebastian's words, as he used to do. Soon, however, he turned his face back. “I don't even have the courage to look at you.”

“What's up? Why don't you talk to me? Tatiana told me that Rafael was intending to rejoin you, from when you were in Spain a few days ago. Why didn't you tell me?” Sebastian's tone, which was still slow, suddenly rose. “You give hope. Reply to all my love statements. However, see how it is?” The man with honey brown eyes was getting angry, because he felt disappointed at Paloma's silence.

“I don't know, Sebastian!” paloma's objection was firm. “I don't know if Rafael will withdraw the divorce suit, which we have already sent to court!” emphatically.

“I told you, I didn't expect him to change his mind at all!” refute Paloma.

“You tricked me, Paloma Sanchez de Luna!” Sebastian is so angry. He blocked Paloma's arms tightly, until the woman grimaced in pain.

“You hurt me, Sebastian!” Paloma tries to release Sebastian's hand, which continues to tightly grip his arm. “Keep your hands!”

“You hurt me a lot more!” Sebastian won't lose. “I've been expecting more from you, but you lied to me! You are a deceitful woman!” Sebastian slammed his grip violently. He was utterly silent and powerless to control all anger. The feeling of uncertainty that he brought from Spain, was vented even though it was not completely exhausted.

However, Sebastian still leaves a few percent of control inside. Although the anger is getting stronger, but Sebastian is still fully aware that he is facing is a woman. A beautiful creature that must be recognized has managed to divert his world.

Witnessing Sebastian's fearsome anger, Paloma dared not challenge him again. The woman in the emerald green dress was just glued. Slowly, his body slumped and collapsed. Paloma sat on the cold floor with his head bowed. Tears accompanied his pain.

At that time, Paloma again felt the injustice of the world towards him. A solution that should not drag on and become a solution, it makes itself back in a pool of tears of sadness. Intentions to start a new life better, extinct already after finding himself back defeated.

A few moments passed. Sebastian who was still standing in his place, had already begun to calm down. He then turned to Paloma who was still sitting with his face down. A soft sigh was stifled, occasionally heard from the young lady.

Sebastian's other side of heart started to break. There was a great inner struggle in the chest of the thirty-seven-year-old man. But in the end, Sebastian gave up. He stepped before Paloma. The man lowered his body. “Wake up,” Sebastian said in a much softer tone. He intended to help, by holding Paloma's arm. However, Paloma immediately shuffled away.

“I'm sorry, Paloma,” Sebastian said regretfully. “Sorry because I'm out of control. I didn't mean to hurt you at all.”

“Go, Sebastian. I can't you expect any more,” said Paloma lirih.

“Why? You can refuse it, Paloma.” Sebastian knitted his eyebrows in displeasure. “You can file an objection and stay ahead. You don't have to follow what Rafael wants!” the Spanish man.

“I can reject Rafael without feeling distressed at all. However, I cannot dispute my father's words. Mr. Rogelio has been very kind to me. To my biological father. He was a role model. I owe him a lot.” Paloma lowered his face again. Hiding the suffering he could not bear.

“How much?” ask Sebastian.

Sontak, Paloma looked up. “What is how much?” The woman asked back.

“How much do I have to replace, so that you are free from the sense of debt that surrounds your steps? I want you to get out of here. Come, Paloma. Come with me.”
