The Casa Del Castaneda

The Casa Del Castaneda
A Warm Morning

“What are you doing?” ask Rogelio. He appeared from his hiding place, after wiping clean his cheeks that had been wet by tears.

“Dad.” Paloma. He's gonna stand up from the chair.

Rogelio prevented it. The man gestured for the son-in-law to remain seated in his place. “The aroma is delicious. Did you cook it, Paloma?” ask Rogelio. He held his nose close to the dish on the table which looked very appetizing.

“Not, Dad. Rafael cooked it,” Paloma said shyly.

“Oh, yes?” Rogelio turned his eyes to the adopted child while raising his eyebrows.

Meanwhile, Rafael just smiled while scooping the food. “Sit here, Dad. We have breakfast together,” take the brunette, while pulling a seat nearby to Rogelio.

“Since you were a kid, I've never seen you cook. Is this the first time?” ask Rogelio again while scooping the food. “Ah, this is delicious. I'm not sure if this is your first time cooking,” the middle-aged man said before Rafael could answer.

Rogelio scooped up again and again, until the food on his plate was completely exhausted. “It's really delicious. Looks like you're talented in cooking, my son,” Rogelio flatters endlessly. "I'm really full. This is the best breakfast I've ever had, after a few years," he said meaningfully

“Actually ... I used to cook while still living in the mess plantation owned by Mr. Castaneda,” said Rafael doubtful. He secretly glanced at Paloma who was finishing the rest of his food. Rafael wanted to know how his wife reacted, when she mentioned Sebastian's last name.

Apparently, Paloma seemed ordinary. He was even impressed not to care. Paloma enthusiastically cleaned the edges of the dishes affected by green onion sauce using the index finger. He then licked his index finger. “This is so delicious,” muttered the woman without realizing, that Rafael and Rogelio's attention was on her.

“You are like a man who has not eaten for days, Paloma,” joked Rafael while accompanied by a wide laugh.

“Ah, i...” Paloma was surprised when Rogelio also laughed at him. “Let me wash all the dirty dishes," Paloma said, switching the conversation to cover up the embarrassment.

“Not necessary. Let me,” stop Rafael. He hurried up. Raphael intended to snatch a pile of dirty dishes from his wife's hand.

“Not necessary. Let me,” reject Paloma while keeping Rafael's hand away.

“For this time, follow what Paloma said. Anyway, I was about to talk about something important with you,” Rogelio said moving his hand for Rafael to approach. “Son, can I borrow your husband for a minute?” ask Rogelio who turned his attention to the son-in-law.

“Bring it up, Dad. I am not interested in being near him for a long time,” said Paloma with a look of serious impression.

However, Rafael responded with a big laugh like that. Rogelio also laughed.

“I'm glad to see your familiarity. If only Eleanor had existed. Your mother will definitely be very happy to see all this,” Rogelio said with meaningful eyes. Meanwhile, Paloma just smiled knot. He would be sad if he remembered the figure of the mother, who died when he was a child.

“Dad to talk about what?” rafael asked, turning the subject aside, after seeing Paloma's face turn moody.

“Oh, yes. Let's talk on the front porch,” Rogelio invites while wrapping his hands on Rafael's shoulders. He asked the man to talk outside.

Meanwhile, Paloma did not care. He went into the kitchen. Paloma busies themselves by washing dishes and tidying the kitchen clean.

After finishing with the kitchen work, Paloma intended to clean himself up. He crossed the dining room as he was about to go to the room. At first glance, the tail of his eyes caught Rafael's mobile phone lying just like that on the dining table. The flat object seemed to light up, when a message entered and had filled the screen.

Paloma frowned, while reading the writing on the incoming message earlier. He closed his mouth tightly with wide eyes. Paloma took the phone. The beautiful brunette ran to the front of the house, where Rogelio was having a serious conversation with her husband.

“Rafael! Look at this,” exclaimed Paloma without caring that Rogelio was speaking.

Rafael immediately looked over. He looked astonished, as Paloma thrust his cell phone. “Why did you bring my phone, Paloma?” rafael asked while frowning.

“Read his latest message!” ask Paloma who doesn't heed Rafael's questions.

Raphael received a mobile phone from his wife's hand. The handsome gray-eyed man according to. He smiled faintly after opening the message meant by Paloma.

“What the fuck is this?” Rogelio was wide-eyed with a face that suddenly turned riled up. "wait. Your death will come soon." Rogelio read the threatening message on Rafael's phone.

“Who sent the message, Rafael?” asked Paloma who looked riled up.

However, Rafael only shrugged both of his shoulders. The man nodded unsure. “I don't know. I've been getting threatening messages like that twice. Maybe just a prankster,” he replied lightly.

“How can you be this calm?” paloma protests.

Rafael, who was originally sitting on a rattan chair, immediately stood up and faced towards Paloma. “Are you starting to worry about me? If it were, I would have no problem getting threatening messages every day,” his joke while laughing again, although not as wide as before.

“You really suck!” Paloma's pretty face grunts. Rafael almost lost his mind. Suddenly, there was a strong feeling inside Rafael. The man wanted to get closer, then melaluatan thin lips nan rannum who was pouting earlier. However, Rogelio's voice scattered all his mischievous thoughts.

“I will get people to tighten guard for you here,” Rogelio said.

“Gosh. Don't be too overreacting, Dad. I'm not a kid anymore who has to get your help all the time. Let me finish things my way,” reject Rafael politely.

“I'm just worried about your situation, son,” reply Rogelio who still looks riled up.

“I can handle it, Dad. Trust me. Why is the body this thick if I can not protect Paloma and myself,” said Rafael while lifting one arm and bodybuilder style. He still showed a calm attitude, and seemed unaffected by the threatening messages from the mysterious number he received.

“Yes, geez.” Rogelio, who had been wearing a riled face, became laughing when he saw the hilarious behavior of Rafael.

Another case with Paloma that increasingly looks upset. “As far as you go, Rafael! I take a shower first.” Without waiting for an answer from her husband, Paloma nodded politely at Rogelio. He passed to the inside of the house.

Rafael's attitude made him dizzy. Paloma thought, flushing the whole body with cold water is a very good idea as well as refreshing.

Half an hour passed, now Paloma has appeared beautiful and neat with a bright colored dress that looks harmonious with the color of his skin. The young woman perfected the appearance by combing her hair. He was already preparing in front of the mirror, when he heard the sound of a lawn mower in the front yard of the house.

While still holding the comb, Paloma peeked out from behind the window of the room on the open second floor. Secretly, Paloma noticed the scene below.

Apparently, Rafael was seriously operating a lawn mower across the side yard. Meanwhile, Rogelio was already invisible from where he stood.

Rafael calmly weeded the grass, which had already risen. He also works bare-chested. The man seemed to be showing off his body which did look so athletic and sturdy. Rafael also did not care, when some of Paloma's neighbors who were women, were busy watching him with sparkling eyes.

“Ck!” Paloma clucked in annoyance. The man must be given understanding and a little scolded, so as not to do as he pleased. However, just two steps Paloma walked away from the window, heard a ringing call from his phone.

Paloma undoes the intention to leave the room. He picked up the phone lying on the bed. His face immediately shone, as he read Sebastian's name on the screen. “Hola,” greet Paloma gently while facing her body back towards the window.

“What's up, Paloma?” sebastian asked with his distinctive heavy voice.

“I just finished taking a shower,” replied Paloma who unconsciously continued to pay attention to Rafael's movements below.

“Have you stayed home with Rafael?” ask Sebastian again.

“Yes, Sebastian. That's the deal for the next three months. After that, I am free and can refocus on the marriage cancellation submission ...” Paloma's sentence sounded floating.

Hazel Paloma's eyes locked onto Rafael's figure, who was busy curling his hair. The man's body was filled with sweat. Looks sparkling in the sunlight.

Feeling someone watching, Rafael squinted his eyes while shaking his waist. He then looked up at the window of Paloma's room. The young lady herself could not avoid Rafael's gentle gaze, who was smiling broadly at him while waving her hand.

Paloma's reflex returned the man's hand. She smiled so sweetly too. That smile, Paloma addressed the man who was still her husband. Paloma was so engrossed, he even forgot that he was still on the phone with Sebastian.
