Paloma thought for a moment, then turned to Sebastian and Abelardo in turn. “What time will you see him, Sebastian?” ask the woman.
“I made an appointment with Tatiana's lawyer early in the morning" Sebastian replied.
“I will deploy my men, to reopen this case,” break up Abelardo later.
“Alright, then. Whatever I get tomorrow, I'll report to you,” Sebastian pat Abelardo on the shoulder softly before saying goodbye. He drove Paloma back to Granada.
Two hours passed with small talk, considering in the back seat there are Kalida and Luz Maria. Sebastian did not dare to open a heavy conversation, until he arrived in front of the two-storey house that Paloma lived in while in Spain.
With great pain, Sebastian lowered Luz Maria from the special seat. He held her for a moment, before handing the beautiful toddler over to Paloma. “Breaklah. There are a lot of things you have to deal with tomorrow,” Sebastian said softly.
“Oh, yes. Um ...” Paloma was doubtful.
“What's up? Speak.” Sebastian walked over, until Luz Maria's tiny hand could reach for the silver necklace she was wearing. Luz Maria tugged at him, until Sebastian was troubled.
Seeing that, Paloma just laughed. He picked up Luz Maria as a gesture for Sebastian, to carry her instead. Sebastian was happy to accept. He had a reason to stay there.
“I plan to make the move tomorrow. Along with taking care of the letters to the notary,” said Paloma. “Thus, we don't need to work twice. But ...”
“I'll rent out an expedition service for you,” cut Sebastian, who seems to know where Paloma is going.
“Sebastian .. a-i ..” Paloma. His hazel eyes stared fixedly at the figure of the man who was looking at him lovingly. “I live alone here. I thought I could handle everything. But it turns out ...” Paloma smiled bitterly, then lowered his head.
“It's okay. I-i understand. No human being can do everything alone. Someday, we will definitely need the help of others,” Sebastian replied.
“Listen to me, Paloma.” Sebastian lifts the woman's chin that has driven her crazy. “Don't ask me for any help. I'll never turn him down, even if you tell me to cross the ocean.”
“Stop seducing me, Sebastian.” Paloma's facial expression, contrary to his words. Paloma did not refuse, when Sebastian touched a pretty face and was about to kiss her lips.
Unfortunately, the romantic scene had to be thwarted, as Luz Maria's palm moved to cover Sebastian's lips. It made Paloma laugh again. Looking at the laughing mother, Luz Maria also laughed.
The next day, Sebastian came back. The car he was driving, along with a large container truck from an expedition service company that had been hired to help move Paloma's goods from Granada to Porcuna. Not only that, Sebastian also brought some male servants from his residence, to help ease Paloma's work. In less than an hour, they managed to put all the items into the container truck earlier.
After that, they immediately moved towards the house that Paloma had bought in Porcuna. There, Elazar was waiting for him. The man who initially leaned his back on the body of the car, immediately stood upright when Paloma came.
Elazar was stunned, when he saw Sebastian carrying a lot of servants who helped bring down the items. “I didn't think that you'd go all out like this in attracting the attention of Mrs Hernandez,” Elazar joked, who was only met with a small smile by Sebastian.
Paloma himself did not bother responding to Elazar's words. With Kalida, he was busy giving orders to the expedition officers to put the furniture as he wanted. A moment later, he handed over control to Kalida.
“Don't let your guard down Luz Maria, as busy as you are, Kalida,” her message reminded. “I have to go to the notary's office now.”
"Do I need to supervise the work here first?" bargain Sebastian lightly, "but, I also have to leave in a moment" he said, looking at the watch.
“I've contacted Mr. Alfonso to rewind the schedule. Everything can be flexible when it comes to you, honey. Anything can wait,” said Sebastian kalem.
"Gosh.” Elazar clucked slowly. He didn't think Sebastian would be that persistent. Elazar felt defeated a few steps from the owner of the largest plantation in Porcuna. “Mari, Mrs Hernandez. Notary officer is waiting for us,” invite him a while later.
“I go first, Darling.” Paloma kissed the cheek of the bully Luz Maria who was engrossed in playing in his particular chair. He waved at Kalida and Sebastian, before entering Elazar's car.
Sebastian kept his promise to stay in Paloma's new home until it was all completed an hour later. He rushed to the Porcuna city sector prison. Alfonso gave a sudden news, that Tatiana was moved there, to wait for the trial period. Sebastian is not in a hurry.
Sebastian meets Tatiana in a special room that has been provided. The three of them talked to a lawyer. “I asked one of my men named Pablo to dump the car into Cordoba. Surprisingly, when news of Rafael's accident was heard, Pablo disappeared somewhere. I didn't think badly that time, until the police came and ransacked my house,” Tatiana said.
“I've sent people to look for Pablo's whereabouts. However, he seemed to disappear into the earth. His phone number also could not be reached,” continued Tatiana again.
“Does he have a close family, brother, or friend?” ask Sebastian.
“I don't know. She's a very secretive person,” Tatiana replied lethargic.
Sebastian was listening to Tatiana, rubbing his chin. “Pablo is a key witness. If he is found, then the bright spot of this problem will be even clearer.”
“One stop, Sir. I hope the police are willing to investigate this,” attorney Tatiana said.
“Take it easy. Abelardo is a good friend of mine. Tell me what Pablo's last name is?" Sebastian is ready to go.
"Gimenez. His name is Pablo Gimenez. Home address I will send through my lawyer soon,” Tatiana said.
“Good. Then I'll go first. I'll try to get an answer as soon as possible." Sebastian nodded at Tatiana and greeted the lawyer.
He rushed back to the police station where Abelardo was on duty, bringing with him new evidence of Pablo Gimenez's name and his full home address.
“Let me find that name in the data center. Sit down for a while.” Abelardo reached out to the chair in front of his desk. Sebastian nodded. Patiently, he waited for the police chief who was at work.
“Ah, here it is! Pablo Gimenez is a real Cordoba man. However, he has worked for a long time in Seville. Looky. His identity card has a Cordoba region stamp, while his employee card and tax number are listed in the Sevilla labor center,” explained Abelardo.
“So, how? When are you going to interrogate him?” ask Sebastian enthusiastically.
Abelardo did not answer immediately. He rested his back on the chair while folding both hands on his chest. “To be honest, I can't interrogate a corpse,”.
“What do you mean?” Sebastian frowned at the sign of not understanding.
“Pablo Gimenez was killed in an accident two months ago. His death certificate was only released last month,” replied Abelardo who immediately made Sebastian gasp.
