The Casa Del Castaneda

The Casa Del Castaneda
Remaining Debt

Paloma did not know what to answer to respond to his father-in-law's invitation. The beautiful hazel-eyed woman, looking fixedly Rogelio with a highlight that is difficult to interpret. There was a sense he could not express to the middle-aged man. It's too stifling for him to go far from Spain.

And Sebastian too. Although the owner of the largest olive plantation in Porcuna still shows a calm and authoritative attitude, but the look in his eyes implies something else. However, there is still a punishment agreement that Paloma must fulfill in Casa del Castaneda. An actual sanction is not clear until when it will end, because Sebastian did not set a deadline.

“Should I come to Mexico, Dad?” tanya Paloma hesitated. Slowly and gently, the voice of the woman who until now was still swayed in uncertainty.

“Iya, Son. Mexico will be safer for you,” replied Rogelio. “What are you expecting again here?Rafael doesn't even consider you his wife. Look what a stupid kid did to you,” Rogelio said. Lovingly, he cupped Paloma's beautiful face. Observing every wound that adorned his daughter-in-law's face.

“Rafael is my son. However, I will absolutely not support the crazy actions he did to you. I cursed his actions. I no longer want to think of him as a child.” Rogelio removed his hand from Paloma's face. There was an enormous regret-clad pain in the look of his eyes.

“No, Dad. Don't say it like that. It must be very sad, when parents are not willing to admit their children.” Paloma clasped his father-in-law's fingers tightly.

Rogelio gasped at Paloma's words. He looked lovingly at his adopted son's wife. Rogelio feels lucky to have a son-in-law like Paloma. But unfortunately not with Rafael. I don't know what lies behind the handsome man, so he did a very heinous thing to his wife.

“I hope you stay with Mexico. Moreover, since Carlos also wants to meet you. He misses his beautiful daughter very much,” Rogelio persuaded. A single smile appeared on that pretty thick bearded face.

Instantly, Paloma's countenance changed. His eyes sparkled when he heard the name Carlos, his beloved father. Over the years, she has lost contact with the man she missed. Not that I don't want to meet. However, the limitations experienced by Paloma during his life in Granada, making him have to be more patient.

After Rafael marries Paloma at one of the Chihuahua city churches, the handsome gray-eyed man immediately invites him to move to Spain.

At first, Rafael brought Paloma to Malaga. Rogelio and Carlos also know their residence address. Paloma is still in good communication with his father. However, after a few months later, Rafael suddenly invites Paloma to move to Granada. Once in Granada, they shut down communication from the family.

At first, Paloma did not understand Rafael's strange attitude. The man did not allow Paloma to hold a communication device. Therefore, Paloma could not contact Rogelio let alone Carlos, who had always communicated through Rafael's adoptive father.

“I'm so stupid, Dad,” regretted Paloma. “I never thought that Rafael would abandon me in Granada. I can't memorize your phone number either. Everything, as if too perfect for ...” Paloma was unable to express what he was feeling. The brown-haired young lady looked confused.

“Rafael is indeed insolent!” geram Rogelio's.

Meanwhile, Sebastian has been quiet and listening. He seemed to be analyzing, then digesting every word that Paloma told Rogelio. The owner of the Casa del Castaneda, increasingly convinced that there is something behind Rafael's attitude towards Paloma. He was sure that Tatiana Vidal's husband, had a strong reason and planned in doing all the action.

A moment later, Rogelio reached into his blazer pocket. From there, he picked up an object that was Calos' care before he left for Spain. “This, Son. Your father wanted me to give you this necklace.” Rogelio grabbed Paloma's hand, then placed the necklace into the young woman's palm.

“Dad? How's my dad doing?” ask Paloma. Haru's taste began to ambush him. Awakened the beautiful memories of the togetherness between himself and Carlos. The man who now lives alone, after the departure of Eleanor, Paloma's mother.

“Some time ago, Carlos had been sick. However, at this time his condition has returned to healthy,” said Rogelio.

Paloma's feelings are increasingly unfounded, when imagining the father who lives alone in his old age. The excitement further entrenched the twenty-five-year-old woman. Paloma, turned his gaze to Sebastian who had only listened since. He did not realize, that since then the handsome man with a strong posture was looking at him.

“I want to do a wedding cancellation, Dad. Can you help me talk to Rafael? In any case, I need a clear status,” Paloma said, after a moment of silence. He turned his eyes back to Rogelio.

“I know where he lives, son. However, Rafael never seems to admit that he is still your husband to his current wife. The woman I met there, said that she never received any recognition from Rafael about your marriage.”

“Sorry before, Mr. Gallardo. I have absolutely no intention of interfering with the private affairs between Rafael and Paloma. However, do you not know the reason Rafael deliberately abandoned Paloma? I guess, this is no coincidence.” Sebastian who has only listened since, this time he spoke.

Rogelio fell silent and thought. It was as if he was remembering something. However, his reflection just now ended in a slow loop. “I think only Rafael knows why, Mr. Castaneda. When I asked her to marry Paloma, the man did not refuse at all,” Rogelio said.

“Then, it is good for you to negotiate so that this problem does not get more protracted,” Sebastian's advice.

Rogelio nodded in agreement. “You are right, Mr. Castaneda.” Rogelio turned his attention to Paloma. “I'll take you to meet with Rafael. We'll make an appointment to meet him. You need not be afraid, my son. As long as there is me, then Rafael will not dare to do anything against you.” The owner of the largest pharmaceutical company in Chihuahua named Estrella Pharmacies, convinced Paloma. The middle-aged man smiled meaningfully.

After a conversation in the living room, Sebastian, who had ordered a waiter to prepare the best guest room for Rogelio, invited the Mexican man to rest. The reason, Paloma's father-in-law looked very exhausted. Rogelio did not refuse this time. He received with pleasure the warm and family welcome given by Sebastian as the host.

While waiting for dinner to arrive, Sebastian spends time in the study room reading. The thirty-seven year old loves books. He always forgets time, if he has done one of his hobbies, in addition to riding.

However, this time Sebastian could not read quietly, because someone knocked on his office door.

Forcibly, the handsome widower closed the book he was reading, then invited someone outside to come in.

When the door opened, Paloma's beautiful face emerged from behind it. The hazel-eyed young woman walked quietly to the owner of Casa del Castaneda, who was sitting behind a desk. Paloma stood up while looking straight at the handsome man. “I want to talk for a minute,” he said slowly.

Sebastian took a deep breath. He seemed to already know what Paloma would discuss. Sebastian leaned back, on the back of his great chair. “You are still bound in my punishment, Paloma,” Sebastian said, before the woman could tell him something.

“Until when?” ask Paloma.

“Until I decide to finish,” Sebastian replied.

“You heard for yourself what my father-in-law said earlier. Do I have to continue with this ridiculous punishment?” paloma protests.

“Should have, I wouldn't have let you out of Casa del Castaneda during his sentence,” Sebastian said calmly. The handsome, well-built man had moved from his seat. He stepped before Paloma. “I respect Mr. Gallardo. He's a very remarkable businessman. I also don't want to leave a bad image in his eyes.”

“Does that mean you let me go from here, Mister?” Paloma's eyes looked hopeful.

“Yes. With the note that you still have the remaining outstanding debt,” Sebastian replied.
