Sebastian was so stunned to see Paloma's new appearance. The young woman, who had lived in Casa del Castaneda for some time, looked very different.
Paloma looked different from what he used to see. Starting from the hairdo, to the most charming way of dressing. Making Sebastian fixated, and powerless to distract from the beautiful figure that now stands before him.
“Master,” saya Paloma. The hazel-eyed woman's soft voice, brought Sebastian back to the real world. The ruler of Casa del Castaneda was a bit confused. However, the man can control himself immediately. As much as possible, Sebastian hid his admiration for Paloma.
“Paloma. You look very different,” Sebastian replied. He still shows his wi-bawa.
“Is that?” Paloma smiled gently. For some reason, the shoulder-haired woman behaved so in front of Sebastian.
Paloma's sweet attitude earlier, made Rafael frown. However, the gray-eyed man said nothing. He only scratched his forehead and did not want to respond too excessively. After all, it would be much better for him who wanted to get a divorce from Paloma soon.
“So, you came here with Rafael Hernandez?” ask Sebastian to talk.
“Yes, Mr. Castaneda. I'm sorry if you're not pleased with my presence here. However, I am the representative of Mr. Rogelio Gallardo. I came here with Paloma. We are both,” Rafael said with a satisfied smile.
Sebastian squinted his eyes. He turned his attention back to Paloma. “You sure you two came here? This guy didn't do anything to you?” Sebastian confirmed.
“Whatever I do to Paloma, you don't have to interfere. Paloma is still my wife, Mr. Castaneda,”, Rafael said, grabbing the question Sebastian asked Paloma.
“I only care about the safety of this woman you call your wife,” Sebastian replied.
Paloma who only listened, felt they had to intervene immediately. He nodded slowly, then smiled. “Sorry, Mr. Castaneda. Can we not waste time, to discuss something that is not part of business cooperation?” The woman in white began to show who she was
Sebastian and Raphael turned to Paloma. The two handsome men then looked at each other. Sebastian breathed out slowly. “Good. I'm sorry I interfered too much. You know, ‘kan Mr Hernandez? It's not that easy to forget the incident when a sturdy and burly man like you, was trying to shoot a helpless woman like Paloma,” he said calmly.
“Ah, stop.” Rafael waving a sign of objection to Sebastian's statement. However, he also did not want to dodge, because that was the reality.
Throughout the meeting, Rafael was silent. Paloma was the one who spoke more about the cooperation proposal between Sebastian and Rogelio. Just as the middle-aged man expected, Paloma was indeed a smart girl and was able to learn things quickly.
Sebastian also looks very comfortable discussing with the beautiful woman. As it turns out, Paloma is not only dissident and stubborn. He is also reliable in terms of work. It's a pity, because Rafael was wasting a woman like that.
While continuing to listen to what Paloma said, Sebastian also enjoyed the beautiful face of the woman in front of him. That made the thirty-seven-year-old man become lost in concentration. Sebastian, repeatedly exhaled deeply, in order to dispel the feeling of indignation in his chest. He also tried to refocus, on the cooperation negotiations that they would establish.
Secretly, Rafael noticed the body language of the owner of the Casa del Castaneda. He raised his eyebrows. As a man, Rafael was able to catch the unusual gait Sebastian showed. A moment later, Rafael's attention turned to Paloma's beautiful face which seemed so serious when discussing with Sebastian. It continued until the meeting was over and they returned to the hotel.
Rafael takes off the blazer and throws it to the couch. The suite rooms rented by Enrique are indeed very spacious. However, it was a pity that there was only one bed there, despite its size being quite large. “Can you contact room service for me? I'm so hungry,” pinta Rafael.
“Alright,” sahutbPaloma who originally intended to change clothes. He broke that intention. Paloma grabbed the antique-handled phone plane from above the nightstand, which was by the bedside.
Paloma ordered a dinner menu for Rafael, with his gentle and polite style of speech. “Don't forget to add half-cooked boiled eggs to his creamy soup,” Paloma's message to the hotel clerk before hanging up.
What Paloma said just now, instantly made Rafael's blood rustle. “You still remember my favorite food, Paloma?” said the handsome man slowly.
I don't know what stupidity Rafael did so far, making Paloma a target of anger over the death of the lover. “Ah.” Rafael nodded his head slowly. He tried to shake off any uncomfortable feelings that started to ambush him.
Not long after, the doorbell of the room rang, a sign that someone was out there asking for permission to enter. Rafael was already moving towards the door, when Paloma came out of the bathroom. The woman wears white bathrobes with hair rolled up a towel. He rushed to open the door wide. Paloma kindly invited in a room service officer who brought a food trolley.
“Put it there,” point Paloma towards the sofa.
“Good, Mistress,” said the hotel maid politely. He nodded respectfully before leaving the suite.
“Eat,” said Paloma while opening the lid of the trolley, then thrusting some dishes in front of Rafael.
“Let's just put it on the table. I'll eat it in a minute,” tell Rafael with a raging mind.
Paloma obeyed whatever Rafael said without refuting. Just like when he was living in the house with that beautiful brunette guy. “Ah, they forgot to cut the eggs,” the young woman complained as she clucked slowly.
Grumbling, Paloma grabbed the steak knife, then sliced the intact egg into two pieces. He put the half-cooked egg on the cream soup. The yolk melts on the surface of the soup, which brings a savory and delicious aroma. Really teasing Rafael's sense of smell. “Eat first,” Tell Paloma short.
“Why?” Rafael's brown eyes looked at the beautiful face of Paloma.
“Why what?” Paloma scrunched his forehead.
“Why are you serving me like this? Tatiana never did that,” said Rafael while shaking slowly. The feeling of discomfort and anxiety ambushed more and more intense.
“Entahlah. Maybe because I'm used to serving you, even if only a few months.” Paloma shrugged her shoulders, then turned to leave the man who would soon become her ex-husband. He did not care about Rafael who continued to pay attention to his body until it disappeared behind the walk in closet door.
“Do you not eat?” Sayup-sayup, the sound of Rafael speaking again.
“In the meantime,” Paloma reply while combing her hair that has not been as long as before. After changing into sleep clothes, he walked out of the small room. Paloma just lay in bed.
“There are two servings of steak here. Eat,” tell Rafael again.
“Later. I am very tired and sleepy,” said Paloma while yawning widely. He put his head on the pillow. His entire life, only this time Paloma felt the pleasure of sleeping on a luxurious bed.
“Gosh." Rafael clucked slowly. He continued to eat his dinner with great pleasure. Not to forget, the man set aside a steak on the table for Paloma to eat, he if woke up later. Rafael then stood up and pushed the empty trolley out of the room. He put it next to the door.
Rafael is back in. He rushed to the bathroom. The man intends to clean himself up. However, she was stunned as her tail caught a make up bag, with all of Paloma's makeup kit strewn across the sink table. Rafael intended to tidy up Paloma's belongings. However, his hand accidentally touched the woman's wallet lying not far from the make up bag.
Rafael looked out of the bathroom before opening the wallet.
Instantly, his eyes widened to notice two small-sized photos tucked in the pocket of the wallet. It was a picture of a little boy smiling widely, which reminded Rafael of his childhood figure that was exactly like the picture in the photo.
“Is this ... Nilo?” think Rafael. A moment later, he saw another photo. A picture of her was taken some time after the wedding ceremony six years ago.
