The Casa Del Castaneda

The Casa Del Castaneda
Upholding Seconds

“Sebastian!” Paloma sat Luz Maria in bed. Meanwhile, he ran over to the plantation owner who was helpless. Blood flow soaked the tile-lined floor, making Paloma increasingly look chaotic.

Leandra, who had witnessed that, immediately turned around and called Raquela the senior butler. Moments later, Raquela came in a hurry. He saw Sebastian lying on the floor, with his head in Paloma's lap.

“Come to the ambulance, Raquela! Sebastian's spitting up a lot of blood!” paloma panicked. The atmosphere became increasingly violent, because plus the cries of Luz Maria who sounded loud.

Without being ordered twice, Raquela immediately called an ambulance. Luckily, the emergency services were quick to respond and arrived ten minutes later. Two medics entered the main building. They headed straight for the room, where Sebastian was. Slowly and carefully, the officers lifted the man's body into the gurney.

“We will take him to Porcuna central hospital. You can follow there,” said one medical officer.

With the skirt soaked with Sebastian's blood, Paloma immediately carried Luz Maria. He will go to the hospital mentioned by the officer. Paloma continued to run towards the front yard, although did not know what vehicle to go to the hospital.

“Alright, Madam,” tell Leandra who has been behind the wheel. He brought Sebastian's car, which Pedro used to drive.

“Are you going to the hospital too?” tanya Paloma hesitated.

“Yes, we have the same goal. Come with me,” take Leandra.

Paloma had no choice but to agree. He nodded and immediately got into the car. Paloma sat in the front seat, next to Leandra who was good at driving. The two women looked so tense. They didn't talk to each other until they got to the hospital.

Leandra was able to help Paloma who was a little overwhelmed by carrying Luz Maria. They walked side by side to the emergency room. The two women arrived, just as a doctor came out of the action room.

“Do you handle Sebastian Cruz Castaneda?” ask Paloma immediately.

The doctor who initially lowered his head while reading the notes, immediately looked up and turned his head. “Iya, right. Are you his wife?” the doctor asked back.

“Ya!” paloma answered without thinking. Leandra looked over, but did not comment.

“Mr Castaneda is in stable condition. The bullet went through the upper arm bone. We will soon be taking surgery to repair his bones. However, overall, your husband will be fine,” explained the doctor.

Paloma breathed a sigh of relief. At least one huge burden had disappeared from his shoulders. “Thank God,” said Luz Maria's mother.

“You can wait, or go home. The operation will last long enough. It can be up to a few hours, Madam,” said the doctor.

“It's okay. I'll wait here,” break up Paloma despite worry. He thought about the condition of Luz Maria who was taken to the hospital.

“Go home, Mistress. Let me take care of Mr. Sebastian here. Pity your daughter if you stay here too long,” said Leandra softly. “Do not worry. I'll keep her progress to you.”

Paloma thought for a while before answering. Finally, he nodded in agreement. After all, he should still put Luz Maria first. Moreover, the clothes worn at that time were full of blood stains Sebastian.

“Alright, I'll go home and clean up. However, I will come here again later,” break it.

“Sure, Mistress. Let me get you a cab online." Leandra nimble lentik fingers operate her mobile phone. Moments later, he informed her that the taxi booked was waiting on the front page of the hospital.

After saying thank you, Paloma said goodbye to Leandra. He rushed to the taxi waiting for him. While holding onto Luz Maria, Paloma arrived at her home. There were some policemen on guard, though not as tight as before.

Kalida ran from inside the house. He looked so panicked as he welcomed Paloma's presence. “Jeez, Mistress. Are you hurt? Let me help you" said the nanny who looked so panicked.

“No. I'm fine." With a trembling body, Paloma recounts Sebastian's injured condition.

“Who injured Mr Castaneda, Madam?” ask Kalida.

“A-i .. I don't know. I myself do not know exactly what happened,” Paloma replied while shaking weakly. He had just realized that he had not had time to ask Leandra anything.

However, Paloma did not take long to get information. After he finished cleaning up, Police Chief Abelardo contacted and explained everything in detail.

It was inconceivable how relieved Paloma felt back then. “Elazar has been caught,” murmured while smiling faintly. The good news was directly conveyed to his father. Including everything that happened to Sebastian.

“Yes, Dad. He's put his life at risk to help me expose Rafael's murder,” Paloma said.

“Yes, Lord,” Rogelio said again before falling silent. Long enough the father and son were in silence, until Rogelio's voice came back. “I'll book a flight ticket to Spain as soon as.”

“Wait for your arrival, dad. I have to get back to the hospital immediately,” Paloma concluded the call. By force, he left the clean and tidy Luz Maria with Kalida.

Paloma kissed her daughter's cheeks and forehead many times, before taking a taxi to the hospital.

In front of the emergency room, Leandra looked disheveled and tired. The young lady sat half-bending, cupping her head with both hands.

“I have arrived. Now, it's your turn to go home and rest, Leandra,” said Paloma softly.

“No, Mistress. Me ...”

“At least, clean yourself first. That way, you'll feel fresher,” talk Paloma again, cut Leandra's sentence.

Sebastian's personal assistant looked at Paloma, who was standing in front of him. “Alright, Mistress. I'll be home for a minute. Thank you.” Leandra forced her smile, then stood up. He nodded politely at Paloma before passing from there.

Now, it was Paloma's turn to wait. He continued to pray for Sebastian. The prayer was finally answered, when two hours later the door of the operating room opened wide. Paloma rushed to two doctors who had just walked out of the room.

“How is my husband?” paloma asked unconsciously. A moment later he gave a lip, having called Sebastian ‘suami’.

“Mrs Castaneda?"

“Yes." Paloma nodded quickly.

“Your husband is fine, Madam. The operation went well. After passing the observation, we will move your husband to the usual treatment room,” explained the doctor.

“Thank you, Lord.” Paloma with tears. It was inconceivable how happy and relieved he was at that moment. He could not hide the feeling of haru, when greeting the two doctors earlier.

Paloma patiently waited alone, until the observation stage was completed a few hours later. He also accompanies her, when Sebastian is transferred to the treatment room. He sat quietly by the bed looking at Sebastian's handsome face still under the influence of drugs.

However, just as Paloma was about to get up from his seat, Sebastian called out slowly. “Paloma?” Sebastian's weak hand stretched out to the side of the bed.

“I'm here, Sebastian,” paloma reply slowly while grabbing Sebastian's hand, then grasping it tightly.

“Are you okay?” ask Sebastian.

“Gosh.” Paloma laughed softly, “I should have asked you that question."

“How about Luz Maria?” ask Sebastian again.

“He is safe with Kalida,” Paloma replied, to calm the handsome widower who still looks weak.

“Where?” Sebastian's eyes opened wider than ever.

“Of course at my house," said Paloma softly. "Tell it, calm yourself."

“Bring Luz Maria to my house, Honey,” Sebastian says quietly. “You too. Move to my place. I'll take care of you every time."

“Can't you discuss that first, Sebastian? You only realized after surgery." Paloma is slow.

“No." Sebastian nodded weakly. “I can't calm down, before making you my whole. Marry me now, before God takes my life.”
