Paloma did the job Sebastian had given himself. Lie, if he says that he does not feel tired. Cleaning such a large room by yourself, is not a good idea. However, what to say. It all comes back to the consequences that must be accepted.
Paloma sat down lethargic after finishing his work. He stared at the large room earlier while laughing crisply. “Nilo, look at your mother. I'm so pathetic,” murmured. “You won't like this.” Paloma exhales slowly accompanied by short complaints.
By late afternoon, Paloma had just left the hall. Just as the young lady had tightly shut the door of the hall, Matilde had already approached her. “What's all done?” ask Matilde. The deputy butler looked pity, when he saw the tired look on Paloma.
“Already, Mistress. If you are not sure yet, please check into.” Paloma again opened the door of the hall, allowing Matilde to enter and examine the results of her work.
Matilde according. He walked to the door and stood there. Women with an age range of about forty years, circulating views to every corner of the room. Everything looks clean and clean. After feeling enough, Matilde returned near Paloma. “You're really working on this alone?” tanyanya doubt.
“Mr Sebastian had been a foreman for a while, until he was bored and chose to leave here. After that, there is no one else here besides me,” Paloma replied confidently.
Matilde let out a long breath. The woman with the neat bun clucked softly while shaking her head. He was inexhaustible with Sebastian's attitude that he considered very excessive. “Ya, already. Now go back to your room. Rest for a moment, because ...” Not yet had Matilde finished her words, a young servant came over.
“Mistress Matilde, you are sought by Mrs Raquela,” reported the young maid politely.
“Good. Thank you, Elena,” reply Matilde. He smiled at the young lady named Elena, who immediately followed him past from the front of the three-story building.
While Paloma returned to the warehouse. He pushed the trolley containing various cleaning tools that he had already used, to be stored back. Paloma had seen the busyness of several servants, who were preparing something.
After coming from the warehouse, Paloma rushed towards the room. Once there, he immediately went into the bathroom to clean himself up. Today, he even works without wearing a maid uniform.
......................
According to Sebastian, that night some well-tuned men came to Casa del Castaneda. They numbered about ten people. Everyone went straight to the meeting room.
Yeah, not the hall that Paloma cleaned up this afternoon. Sebastian never accepted colleagues there. I don't know what the man meant by pranking Paloma, like a teenage boy who wants to avenge the treatment of his best friend.
“Keanak-kan!” grumbled Paloma after learning that the hall he had cleaned earlier looked empty. There's no show there. Paloma then turned around. He was surprised when he found a man behind him. “You?” Paloma's pair of hazel eyes were perfectly wide, looking at the look of a handsome face that had a small grin on him.
“Paloma,” greet the other man is Rafael. I don't know what he's doing in Casa del Castaneda.
“You? What are you doing here?” paloma Sentak.
“I should have asked. What are you doing in Porcuna?” Rafael again gave a small grin. Show me how sneaky he is.
“I'm here to find you brash man!” Paloma could not contain his anger.
“Hey, lower your voice,” said Rafael. He's moving forward. “You already know that I'm a brash man. Then, why are you still looking for me here?” Rafael grabs Paloma's arm. He was blocking it violently.
“Release! Don't ever touch me. You dirty dirty dirty nasty guy!” paloma. “I'm not looking for you for any reason! I just want us to separate. Totally split!” the woman was full of emphasis.
“Then?” Rafael still looks calm.
“Let me live free. Without being tied to you again. Moreover, now that you are married to the old woman,” Paloma sneer while turning his face.
Rafael laughed softly after hearing Paloma's words. He moved closer and closer, so Paloma had to retreat in order to keep the distance between himself and the man. “You know that I won't let you go until my father's gone. That's impossible, my dear.” Rafael grinned wickedly. “You are an important asset,” he said again.
“You know that well. I've never loved you,” Rafael's lips. His attitude and words sounded extremely painful, as well as terrifying in Paloma's ears. “I'll let you go. However, wait until my father dies.” Rafael laughed in satisfaction, though not too loud.
Paloma is moving backwards. “You really are a demon, Rafael! I thought you still had the good side of all your bad qualities all along. Nilo-ku ...” Paloma tried not to cry in front of the man. However, her tears still fell down her cheeks.
“Who is Nilo?” rafael asked without changing his annoying-looking face.
“Nilo? He's the kid I was born with and raised alone all this time. Nilo never saw his father. Is your conscience untouched? Don't you remember that you left me when you were pregnant?”
Rafael did not answer immediately. The man scratched his non-itchy forehead. A moment later, he let out a long breath. Rafael puts both hands in his trouser pocket. “Oh, yes. I forgot,” replied the man lightly. “How is your son now?” rafael asked without any burden at all.
Such attitude, makes Paloma increasingly clueless. The brown-haired woman nodded. “How did you ...”
“I'm still kind enough to ask your son,” said Rafael. “How is it now?”
“My son ...” Paloma. He couldn't say what had happened.
“Yes, your son,” said Rafael again.
“My son ... him ...” Paloma was glued for a while. Not long after, her beautiful body slumped, then collapsed onto the floor. Paloma sat down with his head bowed. Tears were pouring down, falling on the back of his hand. “Nilo-ku is gone. God call him for eternity.” Paloma's slow whispers began to sound.
However, it did not seem to make the heart of Rafael moved at all. The handsome man just stood staring coldly at Paloma who was crying, lamenting the departure of his baby.
Rafael said nothing. Let alone the seduction that could soothe Paloma's fall, he did not even reach out to help the woman get up. Rafael was still with an unfriendly cold look. He left Paloma in pain alone.
“Good,” said Rafael moments later. “Thus, you will not feel burdened.” After saying so, Rafael turned his back. He just passed by, leaving Paloma who was fixated on not believing the man's words.
Paloma immediately raised his face. She looked at the man who was still her husband, without knowing what to say. In fact, Paloma's lips were already moving about to say something. However, it felt very difficult for him to do. Paloma could only see Rafael's back growing farther away.
When Rafael's sturdy body is invisible, then Paloma can emit his voice. “Fuck you, Rafael,” he said with trembling lips. “You are truly a demon-hearted human being!” paloma screamed loudly.
What Paloma did, had invited some servants who happened to be around the place to be shocked. They rushed to the young woman, who was still sitting on the floor.
“Paloma? Are you okay?” asked one of the three servants who approached him.
Paloma. He looked at his three comrades who looked astonished. However, Paloma did not know what to say. He looks confused. The straight-haired young lady immediately got up. While putting on an unruly face, Paloma walked away from the three maids.
Meanwhile in the meeting room. Sebastian and colleagues, one of whom is Rafael, are discussing business issues. Serious discussions continued, until they found a word of agreement. At about nine o'clock, the meeting was over. Some of Sebastian's colleagues have said goodbye one by one.
There, there were only four more people including the host. They are happy to talk lightly while enjoying a bottle of famous branded wine. Moments later, Sebastian's three colleagues who were still in the room decided to say goodbye.
Meanwhile, Rafael who became one of the guests, chose to go home at the end. He approached Sebastian first. “I'd like to speak privately with you, Sir,” Rafael said.
“About what?” ask Sebastian.
“About Paloma,” Reply Rafael. “I want to ask permission to deliver it back to Granada.”
