The days, weeks and months change so quickly. Paloma returns to Carlos's residence with Rafael. He took care of the man painstakingly, until the husband's condition had improved even though he had not fully recovered. Although Rafael no longer looks like a mummy wrapped in white bandages, but the condition of the man's body is still vulnerable. He can't over-activate first.
During that time, Sebastian never gave any more news to Paloma. The rich handsome widower focused on the business he was living, although not infrequently haunted by the beautiful shadow of Paloma. Sebastian is back to being his old self. A loner man, and will probably still spend the rest of his life without anyone present.
But, I don't know about this moment. Martin, the trust foreman, proposes that Sebastian have a personal assistant, who will assist him in all matters of work. That way, Sebastian doesn't have to take care of everything alone.
“Nona Leandra Navarro has experience working in several big Spanish companies. He must be reliable, Sir,” Martin said, while accompanying Sebastian to monitor the harvest on the first day.
“For me it doesn't matter. As long as he can work well, it is more than enough,” Sebastian replied without distracting him, from the workers who were busy with activities on the plantation.
“I hope he can work well,” said Martin again while following the steps of Sebastian, who was getting tired of going around.
“We'll see later.” Sebastian patted Martin's shoulder. The landlord, passing from the front of the foreman with a fedora hat that has always been his trademark. Sebastian returns to Casa del Castaneda. He misses his comfortable work space. But this time something was different. If usually there is no one but him, then from now on Sebastian must get used to the presence of Leandra.
Leandra Navarre. The beautiful woman was crazy, with long brown hair that was always scattered to cover her back. The appearance of the twenty-six-year-old woman was very polite, with a shirt suit and toadstool trousers.
Leandra was selected and managed to get rid of several competitors, who also applied for the job. Who is not tempted by all that is offered? Enough salary, shelter, and certainly can work for landlords in Porcuna. That is the main attraction.
“There is an email from Mr. Ricardo Cortez. He asked the delivery time of his order,” said Leandra. His pair of gray irises, pointing at Sebastian who had just entered.
“Tell me if we will do the delivery of raw materials simultaneously, this weekend,” said Sebastian while sitting behind his desk.
“Good, Sir. I will reply soon,” said Leandra while typing something on her laptop screen. “Is Mr Ricardo Cortez your new customer?” leandra asked.
“Yes. He is a new man. So, it is only natural that we do not understand too much about the mechanism of our work. In fact, before establishing cooperation I have explained everything.” Sebastian complained slowly. He opened the desk drawer. His gaze suddenly fell on the stainless box, the place where he kept Paloma's necklace. The man was instantly silent.
“Not everyone understands with one or two explanations. I didn't think it out. Though he's a businessman.” Leandra laughed softly. However, he immediately covered his mouth, as he looked at the silent Sebastian with a strange gaze towards the bottom of the table.
Thousands of miles away from Porcuna. The night had engulfed Chihuahua City. Paloma has made the bed. Ever since he decided to take Rafael back, they slept in the same room and bed. However, nothing happened between the two, other than a light conversation before going to bed.
“Don't move too much, Rafael,” scolds Paloma, upon seeing her husband do a light stretch. “Remember, your body condition is not fully fit.”
“Gosh. This condition is very boring. I feel like a decrepit person,” complained Rafael. She stopped her small movements earlier, then climbed onto the bed. “You know, Paloma? Last afternoon, dad said something that made me feel tickled,” the man said. He sat down to the head of the bed.
“Daddy says that we have undergone a trial period smoothly. Three months passed without feeling. You don't complain much either, even if you have to keep taking care of me. You even did it all very well.” Raphael began the conversation, as they used to do until drowsiness came.
“Then?” ask Paloma again.
“Dad wants us to really plan the future carefully. Rebuilding a real home. You, me, and a kid. Yep. Dad asked us to give him a grandson.” Raphael exhaled softly after saying so. He was not sure of Paloma's response.
Justright. Paloma did not immediately respond to what Rafael said earlier. The brunette was pensive, looking at the blanket covering part of her body. Paloma's attitude, as if giving an answer to Rafael.
“Ah, stop. Forget what I just said. You don't have to take it too seriously. We can do this alone. It's okay.” Rafael fixes a blanket that covers the stomach. “Are you going to sleep now?” tanyanya diverted the topic of conversation.
“Are you sleepy? It's not usually you sleep this fast.” Paloma looked in wonder at Rafael.
“Before, I want to do light exercise before going to bed. But you forbid me. I feel so much better than before. It has been more than eight months, Paloma,”, Rafael said.
“Better to hold first. From your wounds relapsed and even became more severe,” Paloma reply.
“This is what I love about you. You've always been a caring woman since a long time ago. You're very kind. I'm happy even though it's just like this.” Rafael laughed crisply as he restored his hair. “Can I say something?” Rafael half-faced Paloma who was still sitting leaning back.
“About what?”
“I know if you'll need time to fully accept me. But I hope you learn to forget Sebastian. Sorry if I had to say something like this. I just want us to really start a new life. You and I ..”
“And a child?” paloma interrupted Rafael's words.
Rafael looked in disbelief. He was unsure of what he had just heard, so the man had to shift his body closer and closer. “Did I not hear wrong, Paloma?” tanyanya.
Paloma smiled gently. He did not give an answer in words. However, his body language has been quite representative.
“Really?” Rafael clasped Paloma's right hand with a radiant face.
