The Casa Del Castaneda

The Casa Del Castaneda
Reality Actually

Sebastian stepped firmly in a shiny black pantofel shoe. He looked very confident with his neat and classy appearance. That night, Sebastian comes in wearing a tuxedo suit, which makes him look fabulous.

Upon arrival inside the magnificent party hall, Sebastian is immediately greeted by Rogelio. Handshakes and warm embrace typical of the men of the upper class, coloring the meeting of two big businessmen different from the continent. This was their first meeting, after Rogelio's last arrival to Spain. “How are you, Mr Castaneda?” greet Rogelio friendly.

“Very good, Mr. Gallardo. Very happy because it was an honor to attend this big banquet,” Sebastian reply full of dignity.

“I'm supposed to thank you, because you're willing to attend my invitation. In fact, we know for ourselves the Spanish-Mexican mileage is very far.” Rogelio clasped Sebastian's shoulders higher than his. He took the thirty-seven-year-old widower to meet with some of his colleagues and other Mexican businessmen.

Meanwhile, Rafael was standing with a feeling of sadness outside Paloma's room. The woman had not yet come out from inside. Rafael has knocked on the door many times. However, Paloma did not bully him. Rafael almost broke the door, if he did not remember that what he did would only cause trouble.

“Paloma! Out!” rafael shouted not too loudly. Every now and then, the man knocked on the door. “You don't have to wear the party dress I bought you if you don't want to. Please, Paloma. Don't embarrass dad. He has prepared this event with great joy.” Raphael complained slowly. He doesn't know what to say. If not for his intention to try to regain Paloma's love, Rafael would have left the place since.

“Paloma! Did you hear me?” he continued, occasionally knocking on the door. But what he did was in vain. Paloma, no matter what Rafael's plea is. “Paloma!”

When Raphael was trying to persuade his wife to come out, a servant came over. He delivered a message from Rogelio. “Master, you've been awaited in the party hall by the great lord. Special guest from Spain has arrived.”

Raphael did not answer. He just nodded. Rafael hints for the servant to return. Meanwhile, he now has an idea that can lure Paloma out of the room. Rafael, come back knocking on the door. “Paloma. The man of your heart has arrived. Don't you want to see him?” rafael shouted quite loudly.

Paloma who was sitting while scowling, immediately turned towards the door. “Sebastian? She came here?” his murmuring seemed to link the eyebrows. Paloma then moved out of bed. He came closer to the door, stuck his ear there.

“You should know that father has invited Sebastian to the banquet this time. If you want, then get out. Otherwise, I'd say that you're not feeling well.” After saying so, Rafael passed from the front of Paloma's room.

Concerns began to cloud Paloma's feelings. On the one hand, he was eager to meet Sebastian. On the other hand, what would he say if the man found out that Rafael had withdrawn their divorce. Paloma walked back and forth while ruffling her hair. A moment later, the woman's gaze was fixed on the party dress that was already available for her to wear.

Paloma walked closer to the end of the bed. She grabbed the expensive dress that Rafael bought for her. The long sleeveless dress is emerald green, with a sprinkling of crystals on the neck.

Meanwhile, Rafael was already in the party hall. He smiled warmly welcoming Sebastian. The smile of pretense that he showed, to please the father. “Mr Sebastian Cruz Castaneda. Glad to see you are in Mexico.” Rafael shines Sebastian.

“Thank you Mr. Rafael Hernandez. Of course I'm very happy, because I can come here. More ....” Sebastian did not have time to continue his words, when he saw the presence of someone who immediately distracted him. A beautiful woman in a very beautiful emerald green dress. He stepped back towards her.

Paloma said nothing. He only gave a small smile as necessary. The gaze of the hazel-eyed beautiful woman was fixed on the tall, sturdy figure, who looked at her with great admiration.

“Paloma,” greet Sebastian. It felt like he was taking the short-haired woman away from the party hall, in order to be alone with her.

“Sebastian,” reply Paloma. His voice sounded so soft when calling the name of the man from Spain. They even throw smiles at each other.

Without both of them realizing, such an attitude has invited the feeling of incomprehension from Rogelio. The middle-aged man squinted his eyes, as if analyzing the meaning behind the smile that seemed from the beautiful twinkle filled eyes. “Alright, Mr. Castaneda. Please enjoy our show. There are many Mexican specialties here.” Rogelio leads Sebastian to a table where there are a variety of delicious food dishes that have been arranged in such a way. There are also drinks there.

“Thank you, Mr. Gallardo. Do you want me to get you something?” bargain Sebastian to Paloma. That sweet attitude came back to Rogelio's attention. He looked at Rafael, then turned his gaze to the blushing Paloma. Body language is much different, from what was shown while he was with Rafael.

“Not necessary. I can take it myself,” reject Paloma smooth.

“Good. I'll excuse you.” Before it passed from there, Sebastian looked back at Paloma even if only for a moment.

“What is this?” ask Rogelio curious.

“Later also I will know,” replied Rafael while turning to Paloma who was silent again.

Rogelio shook his head as he clucked slowly. He then raised the glass high, tapping it with a small spoon freshly removed from the tuxedo pocket. Automatically, all the invited guests directed attention to him.

“Sorry to interrupt the time for a while the audience,” said Rogelio began his speech. “I just want to share happiness with you all who are here,” said the man again.

Rogelio set his sights on Rafael and Paloma who stood side by side. “Look.” Rogelio's right hand pointed at the two lovebirds. “This is my son and daughter-in-law. They just returned from Spain, after years of living there. This time, the two decided to settle in Mexico. Building a harmonious and happy home. There's nothing more I can wait for from this, than the presence of a grandson.” Rogelio smiled broadly after saying so. A warm welcome to applause from the invited guests.

Not with Sebastian. It was as if he could not swallow the drink that would pass through his neck. Sebastian looked on in disbelief at Paloma, who was also staring pushyly at him.
