The Casa Del Castaneda
Not Like Yesterday

“Who is waiting for you, Paloma? You have a new admirer apparently,” Sebastian quipped, with a straight look at the porch of the house where Elazar is.

“What do you mean?” Paloma glared for a moment at the handsome man next to him, taking off his seatbelt. He intends to open the door. However, Paloma's movements immediately stopped because Sebastian blocked his wrist. “What's your problem?” paloma asked staring in astonishment at the man's attitude.

“Please don't,” pinta Sebastian full of emphasis. He made Paloma even more clueless.

“What is not?” paloma asked as he knitted his brows.

“Don't break my heart again,” Sebastian replied, in a voice that sounded so heavy. Slowly, he let go of his hand. “Sit down first,” get that brunette guy, then get out of the car.

Sebastian stood in front of his vehicle. He looked straight at the Elazar that had been standing, from the moment Sebastian's SUV got into the yard. “Elazar? What are you doing here?” tanyakanya. The attitude Sebastian showed was ordinary. He was good at hiding the jealousy that had been shown to Paloma.

“You are also here,” says Elazar. Tatiana's ex-husband did not answer Sebastian's question.

“I just got back from ...” Sebastian deliberately paused his words. He turned to the vehicle, then walked towards the passenger door. The handsome widower of forty years opened it. Sebastian helped Paloma down.

This time, Sebastian won. Moreover, when he saw the look on Elazar's face that suddenly changed. Quietly, the man who owned thousands of acres of olive plantation land in Porcuna had opened the back door. He took Luz Maria from his special chair.

Luz Maria is so happy to be carried by Sebastian. The toddler was unrelenting, playing the beard of the man who paid more attention to Paloma. He laughed, then clapped. Makes it look even more adorable.

“You guys from where? Has Mr Gallardo left?” ask Elazar.

“Yes. We just got back from the airport,” Paloma replied. “Have you been here long, Mr Blanco?” tanyakanya.

“Not really,” replied Elazar. The body language of the thirty-three-year-old widower, seemed uncomfortable with Sebastian's presence there. “Why didn't you tell me the time of Mr Gallardo's departure, Mrs Hernandez? Previously, I also wanted to take your father away to the airport.” As much as possible, Elazar hid the disappointment that emanated from the look in his eyes.

“I'm sorry, Mr. Blanco. I just don't want to bother you. After all, my father left on a morning flight,” Paloma explained with a deep smile. “Come, Dear.” He tries to grab Luz Maria's tiny body from Sebastian's lap. But, beyond a doubt. Luz Maria again mentioned the word ‘papa’ while clapping. It made Paloma just scratch his forehead.

“Funny once,” says Elazar clumsy. He forced himself to smile. “Look, Luz Maria. I brought you a new toy.” Elazar thrust the paper bag onto Paloma. He wanted the woman to open it.

“You do not have to bother like this, Mr. Blanco,” said Paloma after seeing the contents in the paper bag earlier. He glanced at Sebastian who made no comment. However, the look in his eyes implied a sense of dislike.

“It's okay, Mrs Hernandez. I happened to pass by in front of a toy store. So, I don't think there's any harm in buying one for Luz Maria,” Elazar explained. He directed his full attention to Paloma. “I'm here to discuss the house you're going to buy, ma'am,” said the man with the face and stature of the late Rafael.

“Where's that house you mean?” sebastian asked without looking at Elazar. Luz Maria is much more pleasant to her than Tatiana's ex-husband.

“On the north of the company newly sold Amoroso Barbossa. It's only about fifteen minutes from there. I think it will make it easier for Mrs Hernandez. Moreover, because he left Luz Maria at home,” Elazar explained.

Sebastian mangosteen. He turned his attention to Paloma. “Have you seen the location and the building?”

“We'll review it tomorrow. Right ‘kan, Mrs Hernandez?” Elazar smiled at Paloma. A smile that looks really annoying to Sebastian.

“Iya,” Paloma replied accompanied by a slow nod and looked doubtful. Paloma may feel bad for Sebastian. “Alright, Mr. Blanco. Is there anything else you want to talk to me about?” ask Paloma. His body language as well as his style of speech, implied a subtle swipe at the gray-eyed man. “Actually, I'm very tired. It's time Luz Maria took a nap.” Paloma touched his bangs.

Elazar could understand Paloma's attitude. Although he actually still wants to be there, Paloma actually looks uncomfortable. The presence of Sebastian increasingly makes the atmosphere more unexpected ex-husband Tatiana. “We can discuss it again tomorrow, Madam. I'll pick you up at ten in the morning, because the owner of the house is waiting for us around thirteen.”

“Alright, Mr. Blanco. Thank you,” reply Paloma while nodding. He moved from his seat. Paloma stood up and extended a hand.

There was no reason for Elazar to linger there. By force, the handsome widower stood up. He returned Paloma's handshake. “Alright, Mrs Hernandez. Then, excuse me first,” said, who immediately replied to a nod from Paloma.

Before leaving, Elazar turned his attention to Sebastian who was still sitting while holding Luz Maria. “Are you not going back to Porcuna, Sebastian?” he asked, with a slightly strange-sounding tone.

“Of course I'll be home. Why?” Sebastian asked back.

“It's okay. I just asked,” replied Elazar accompanied by a knotty smile. He nodded as a sign that he was going to say goodbye. The man turned his body. Elazar intended to step into the courtyard. However, Sebastian's voice had managed to stop his movements. Elazar looked at me.

Sebastian stood up while holding Luz Maria. “Have you visited Tatiana in jail?” tanyakanya.

Elazar did not answer immediately. He laughed without turning back. “Why should I visit him? He's not who I am anymore,” replied the man lightly.

“I think he definitely needs moral support. At least, you said ‘hai’ to your ex-wife.” I don't know what Sebastian meant to talk about Tatiana in front of Paloma. “Ya already,” said the man later. He turned to Paloma who looked increasingly uncomfortable.

And so is Elazar. He turned his gaze to the twenty-eight-year-old beautiful widow. “Excuse me, Mrs Hernandez,” said the man. He turned. This time, Tatiana's ex-husband actually left in front of Paloma and Sebastian.

After Elazar died, Sebastian immediately approached Paloma who was still standing glued. “I'll take you tomorrow,” he said.

Paloma raised next to the eyebrow a sign of not understanding the intent of the man before him. He folded his hands on his chest, then smiled slightly. “You don't have another job, Sebastian? Why keep me under control?” paloma Cibir.

Sebastian laughed crisply in response to Paloma's words. He carried Luz Maria with one hand. “You know why? The answer is, because I don't want you to be stolen by another man.”

“Gosh.” Paloma let out a crisp laugh as he shook his head slowly. He felt funny after hearing the handsome widower's reply.

“Why are you laughing? Don't you see that I'm being really serious right now?” Sebastian is getting closer to Paloma. He intended to kiss the woman.

But not like yesterday. Paloma shied away from the kiss. “Do not, Sebastian,” reject it while turning away.
