Chapters 53. An Old Friend's
Tyona looked in amazement at Darren who had just mentioned their food menu to a servant. After the waiter left, the bespectacled man asked in surprise.
“Why is looking at me like that? I know I'm handsome, but being looked at by a married woman is weird, Anna”
Tyona laughed, then shook her head slowly. “I'm just amazed that you still remember my favorite food”
“Of course. You forget I have a sharp memory, hm?”
“Alright Mr.Minders, by the way thank you for taking me to eat”
Darren took off his slightly dewy glasses. “What are you actually fed by Jeffrey? You look thinner than you used to be, Anna. Don't tell me that guy told you diet”
“No. Jeffrey didn't pressure me on appearance. He also gives more than enough money, really. You don't have to worry”
His opponent wears back his glasses. “If I had the guts first, I would now be the one at Jeffrey”
“Eh, what?”
Darren smiles. “No. How is poly child?”
Tyona shrugged her shoulders. “Yes, same as usual. Always crowded. Busiest poly besides internal. Sometimes I regret why I used to take PPDS pediatrics, just because I liked the kids”
“Kan told you many times, dear Anna. Are you sure about your decision to take pediatrics? Because, by the time of the pediatrics station, I wanted to give up. Not strong to hear the cry of one child with another. Not fussy yet, it feels like I want to cry with them”
Tyona laughing. “You said you don't like pediatrics but you koass with the highest score”
“But seriously, neurology, interna and pediatrics were the bottom three of my choice when I decided to take the doctor” specialist program
“Then your top three what?”
Darren let his shoulders lean, his eyes open. “Eum.. psychiatry, forensics, then surgery. But I didn't have to undergo 10 semesters of surgery. Forensics, it's the shortest but I'm still traumatized to see a gurney that runs by itself while guarding the night at the forensic station. Be the remaining option, psychiatry”
“If you are alone? Your top and bottom three choices, what?”
Tyona propped her chin with her palm. “Not three, but two. My bottom two, forensics and neurology. Then my top two are pediatrics and orthopedic”.
“But in the end you were able to win against pediatrics”
“Whose word, my knee feels like it's going to be dislodged every day”
“But you enjoyed it right?”
Tyona smiled. “Yes, I enjoy every look at their cries turning into laughter. It felt like I was standing guard to throw away the children's pain. Their laughter and healing, it cannot be replaced by any”
“You're great, Anna. Jeffrey is lucky to have you”
The woman shook her head. “I'm also lucky to have it. We are lucky for each other”
Darren smiled, inwardly condemning how the bastard Jeffrey who could play fire behind Tyona's back. Oh, don't think Darren's insensitive. He could read the situation, how Jeff had been unfocused the past few days, and how he had panicked when the woman came to him. Darren knows something is wrong with the wedding of his two best friends.
If only he could turn the clock around, Darren would fight for his feelings for Tyona. His first love since college. If only Darren was not inferior to his appearance which he thought was hilarious. If only Darren hadn't chosen to be a secret admirer. What power, because before Juliet knew her hidden love, she had already found her rome. A popular student will be good looks. Making Darren even more convinced that being a secret admirer was the right choice. Tyona's too hard to reach anyway. The woman with all her perfection, seemed suitable if juxtaposed with Jeffrey.
But if it had happened like this, Darren was determined to take Tyona. If indeed Jeffrey is not willing or can not take care of his wife again, let Darren who replaced his position.
“You yourself when is Darren?”
“What's the time?”
“Finding couples. We are in a mature age, fixed income also already exists. Want to wait especially hm?” Tyona raises her eyebrows, seduces Darren.

“I know him? Tell me who he is! Jesus Darren, how can you hide this from me hm?”
Darren shook his head, correcting the slanted location of his glasses. “Later I'll say it, I'm not ready if you know who it is”
“Alright then. How has your relationship progressed?”
“I'm still a secret admirer. I've loved it for a long time but your best friend is too cowardly to be honest. Be our relationship stuck, no progress. There is even a setback”
Tyona's forehead shriveled. “Why did you say setback?”
“Yah. because I lost quickly to another man. I'm sorry until now”
Tyona's outstretched hand patted the back of Darren's hand, intending to lend support. “Then forget him if he is happy with his partner. You deserve your own happiness, Darren”
“What if he is unhappy with his partner?”
“You mean?”
“The couple betrayed, Anna. I feel bad because I know but I just kept watching him get hurt. But on the other hand it's not my domain to interfere with his household”
“Gosh, how sorry is that woman. You know his partner?”
Darren smiled bitterly. “Original, yes. I know him”
“Then just advise your partner to stop playing fire. If I need to threaten I'll snatch his wife if she keeps cheating”
“Should I say that?”
Tyona nodded incantation. “Yes, should. Sometimes a man has to be taught a lesson first in order to realize that he has the perfect partner, but instead look for the others out there. Let him feel the pain of regret when his wife is taken by her own friend. Especially if the wife is happier with her friend”
“Thanks Anna for her suggestion”
Tyona laughed a little. “Sama-sama Darren. Tell me if you've managed to snatch your woman”
“I guarantee you're the first to know when that day comes, Anna”

How shocked Hannah was to see who was in front of her now. No, not Johnny or Louis. But a figure he almost forgot his existence.
“Arman? S-since when did you come back?”
“I came back three days ago. I come here every day but we never get a chance to meet. I want to ask about your friend's whereabouts, he has ignored me and disappeared like swallowed by the earth. I assume you know where she is, Hannah?”
Oh, my God, Hannah wants to just disappear from the earth. Why would he have to cross paths with Arman at a time like this.
