See You Tonight

See You Tonight
Chapter 57: Indonesian Language Task

This morning, I woke up in a pretty bad way. I dreamed of seeing a woman my age who was crying alone in the middle of the night under a full moon and wearing an all-black dress. His skin was pale, his hair was long and black. Not to forget he also wears a bando that is also black. He cried and said, "I'm scared, help me."

I also wanted to approach the woman but when I was just one step away, I suddenly fell into a very deep hole. And as I continued to fall down the black hole, I suddenly woke up and was already on the floor. I was very surprised to find that I woke up on the floor instead of on the bed. It's the first time I've experienced something like this.

After finishing breakfast, I immediately told my mother to go to school. Today, Thursday, August 18, I left again with Hana after a long time. Hana always looks excited and cheerful.

"If you look at the sister like Alex Siregar, too" said Hana suddenly.

"Ha who? Alex Suregar?" ask me

"Not Alex Suregar but Alex Siregarrrrr, you don't know?" said Hana.

"Well, you don't know who he is?" ask me again.

"He's a movie star actor who is on the rise. Kemaren Hana watched the same movie as her mother titled 'Eight Month'. It just so happened that the main character was Alex Siregar kak. Well when Hana saw again, it turns out that it was a sister who looked very similar to Alex Siregar," explained Hana.

"Oh that's right, hahaha brother is not too fond of watching movies so sister also do not know much about the artist who is on the rise today. What is similar?" ask me again.

"Everything is almost similar. Eyes, nose, face, everything is almost the same" Hana explained.

"Haah? What the fuck is hahaha," I laughed too.

Today, the first and second subjects are Bahasa Indonesia. Today everything is also seen already in class, even Ruben who is most often late today somehow he left earlier than me. 5 minutes more until the doorbell will sound.

"Why are you leaving so late today? Want to be late? Hahahaha," Ruben said arrogantly to me and Ahsan.

"Haaa? What the fuck is tuch?" Ahsan reacted.

I just kept quiet and did not react to anything. This morning, my attention was more on Risal. Risal's seat is in the far right back corner. He always looks alone and makai large earphones that cover both ears as I have told you before. Seeing her now is like reminding me of myself when Junior High.

Finally the bell rang. Not long after, Ms. Nesti (an Indonesian teacher) also entered the class. As always, we always start our morning activities by praying. After finishing praying, Ms. Hesti then explained that the material for the meeting this time was to make a poem.

"Good morning, kids" said Mrs Hesti.

"It looks like today everything went in. Immediately, I apologize for having a sudden business, so I want permission to go out first. Before that, I ask you to make a poem to fill the void. Free theme. If there is still time, I will return to this class. Maybe someone will read the poem in front if there is still time. Once again I'm sorry, see you later" said Ms. Hesti then immediately left the class she had just entered a few minutes ago.

After Bu Hesti came out, the atmosphere that had been calm now became rather crowded. Many students were walking around and talking to each other rather than directly doing the task of Ms. Hesti.

Ayu as the class leader immediately acted when he realized that the classroom atmosphere was getting crowded and noisy. He then went straight to the front of the class.

"Please give him a little attention, friends," said Ayu in a firm voice that began by hitting the board first.

The children who heard Ayu's voice became silent and returned to their seats.

"Please be conditioned not to be crowded. You can take a walk, or hang out with others, but try not to make sounds that are too loud and noisy. Remember, we are still in a lesson hour where the class on our left-right side will definitely be disturbed if our voice is too loud. For that, please cooperate to orderly. Thank you," said Ayu and returned to her seat.

After that, the classroom atmosphere became calmer even though there were still some children walking around. I started thinking about what poem I would do this time.

I put down my pen first and closed my eyes while breathing deeply. As I was doing this, Ruben suddenly called out to me from behind.

"Catel... Langg... Oiii... Lang.." he said in a whisper.

I looked up at Ruben immediately.

"I borrowed dong's pen... My pen is running out" he said, whispering from a distance.

I gave him a pen. I don't know why I've been carrying more than one stationery since I was a kid. Maybe this is because my father used to always tell me to always be available for backup in any business. After I gave my pen to Ruben, I turned back to face the front to start making poems.

It had been about five minutes I thought, but still the paper in front of me was empty. The pen that I was holding from earlier had not even a single speck of scraping on the paper. I really don't have any ideas yet.

I also looked around the class. Of course for something like this, Agung must have been the most excited child. He also seemed to be seriously writing his words on the white paper before him.

I then noticed Cindy sitting right to the right of my seat. Cindy was seen slowly writing word for word in her book. Sometimes he paused while thinking about what words he would use in the next stanza.

It didn't feel like 10 minutes had passed and I still hadn't written anything down. Now I'm starting to hope that Ms. Nesti won't return to class until the Indonesian language lesson ends.
