See You Tonight

See You Tonight
Chpater 11: Night

After returning home from the grandfather residence, the three of us did not go straight home. We took the time to make a pilgrimage to my father's grave. The weather was very hot, as we arrived at my father's funeral at about 12:30. We bought flowers when we came here.

We prayed in front of my father's grave. We told her that we had visited our grandparents. I don't know if you'll listen to our story or not. But I hope you will listen to him. I hope you're not lonely there.

After the pilgrimage, we planned to find a place to eat for lunch. We discussed it for a while to determine its place. Finally, my proposal was accepted. I propose to eat meatballs at Sofia's place. Besides because it tastes good, I want to see it too. I don't know why I feel so eager to meet him.

We also rushed there. The streets today are no less jammed than yesterday. We expected it because it is still the weekend.

Finally we arrived in front of Sofia's father's meatball shop. After parking the car, we went downstairs and ordered meatballs.

"Please order what ma'am?" ask Sofia's father.

"Bakso 2 equals one meatball noodle. Drink 3 iced tea" answered my mother.

"Please wait a minute, ma'am..."

The three of us waited for a moment while chatting lightly. While chatting I tried to find Sofia, but it seemed like she was not here. I don't know why I feel a little disappointed if I can't meet him today. It seems, this is also the first time I feel disappointed if I don't meet someone.

Finally our order came, and Sofia was not seen. We took each of our orders. Hana and I ordered the meatballs, while Mom ordered the meatballs.

We ate pretty well, probably because we were hungry enough. Until we finished eating it, Sofia remained invisible. Maybe he's not here. I feel a little disappointed.

Then she paid for our food and rushed back home. However, I ask to go home on foot as well, I want to stop by the mini market. I separated from my mother and Hana from here.

I started walking myself to the mini market. As I walked, my mind split into two, one thinking about extracurricular questionnaires, the other thinking about Sofia.

From the first time he came home, I always thought about him afterwards. It seems like I want to be his friend, so I want to meet him to ask him if he wants to be my friend or not. Besides, I also want to see Sofia's smile again.

When I was a kid, when I walked at night, I always thought the moon was following me. Wherever I go, the moon is always behind me. The moon was watching me. The moon never seems to be angry. If it is like people, maybe the moon is a good person, calm, wise, and graceful. For this reason, I love the moon.

I like the night more than the day. I was never afraid of the sunyinya night, instead it made me very comfortable. For me, the late night the more calming.

The sound of nature will be very clear when the night. Sometimes, you can hear the sound of crying coming from the other side of town flying with the wind. The sounds of the insects, the leaves rubbing against each other in the wind, and the sound of the roar of the train are a small part of the singing of the night. I have no reason to fear or hate the night.

The name of our class gym teacher is Mr. Budi. The height may be about 180 cm and the haircut is short. Mr. Budi always seems to draped a whistle.

At this first meeting, as in general, Mr. Budi did a brief introduction and then checked our presence by calling our names one by one.

The first material today is a 3 km run. The goal of this 3km run is to regain our fitness after a long holiday after graduating Junior High.

We also march. Mr. Budi gave a warning, "one.two.prittt..." Along with the sound of the whistle, we started running.

At first we ran still at the same time, but after traveling about 500 meters, it had started to separate. Aji the vice-chairman of the class leads the way. I was behind him exactly, about 20 meters.

After about a kilometer, it looks like many are out of breath to run, so many start walking while recharging. However, Aji still looks very good, he does not look tired in the least. The steps are small but never stop. He is very consistent in maintaining his running speed.

Instead, I started to run out of energy, and finally I decided to take a short walk while replenishing my strength again. Even so, it seems like I am still safe to be in this second position. My closest competitor who was behind me also walked along.

Until the end of the track, Aji remained consistently ranked number one followed by male students whom I do not yet remember his name, and then me. I was overtaken at the end of the track when I was completely exhausted.

After touching the finish line, I immediately sat down while straightening my legs and returning the rhythm of my breathing. I see my distance of 4th rank is quite far.

Finally everything finished. Mr. Budi announced that we all managed to escape the maximum time needed to run a distance of 3 km. We all look relieved, even though we all look very tired, except Aji.

Aji looks fine. He was even seen sitting for a while and then walking back and forth for cooling. I think he has a lot of stamina.

After that, we were allowed to rest. There was still about 30 minutes until we changed subjects. We headed straight to the cafeteria to buy drinks to get our energy back. This time, I went to the cafeteria with my friends for the first time. Male students are seen clustered into a group when heading to the cafeteria. I followed them at the back. So far I only remember Aji and Ahsan's name, so it's kind of awkward. Although, I already remember all the faces of the male students in my class.

After finishing from the cafeteria, we went straight back to class to change our clothes. Approximately, another 10 minutes until the next subjects. We walked quite hastily this time. Even though all I did was listen to their small talk, it seemed like I was starting to interact with them.
