Chapter 141: Until

Not long after, the grandmother who was chatting with me got off the bus. Not to forget, before he left the bus, he gave me greetings and a smile. A very friendly grandmother. I returned his smile while nodding my head.

The bus continued its journey. Now, the right left of the road has been dominated by ponds and mangrove plants typical of coastal areas. The smell of the ocean began to smell. Just by smelling this scent, I could already imagine how salty the sea water was.

In the end, we got up and down at a stop near the beach. Currently, the time has shown at half-three in the afternoon. The sun was not as stinging as it was this afternoon. We excitedly headed straight to the beach that was already visible from here. Before that, we first had to pass through the last "obstacle" that is crossing the road.

Hana immediately ran towards the beach just after we finished crossing the road. As if not to lose, Ruben immediately followed Hana to the beach filled with sand. Although the sand is not very white, it looks very soft.

The atmosphere of the beach in the afternoon is somehow not as crowded as I imagined. In fact, now is a holiday, but why are beach visitors on this day relatively quiet? I don't know. To be honest, I prefer a beach that is not too crowded like that. I'm so grateful for it.

"Oi big sister hurry here," Hana shouted from a distance as she waved her hand towards here. After that, it was Ruben's turn to wave his hand towards us. Somehow Ruben looks so clop with a little kid. Maybe it is Ruben's character that is suitable for small children.

"It feels like I haven't been to the beach in a long time. You want to run too" said Celine who also ran straight to the vast stretch of beach sand. Before that, he had taken off his shoes and carried them with his right hand. Celine looks so happy. Again, that smile made my heart beat.

"You didn't run Lang?" ask Devi.

"Eh? Reluctant. You alone?" asked me who was a little surprised Devi spoke to me.

"That's not what I mean, hihihi," replied Devi who made me become confused.

"Isn't that what it means? Then what?" ask me.

"You are insensitive to the person... Moreover you also seem to be less sensitive to yourself hihihi," Devi replied with a slight smile. The answer again made me confused.

Waves that come and go peacefully, create a rhythm that makes the heart of the person who hears it calm. The calm waves, somehow looks like they are inviting people who are looking at it to dance.

Hana, Reuben, and Ahsan are still running around on the beach. Sometimes, the naked feet of those who were, were whacked by the waves that came. The face full of pleasure and the face filled with laughter somehow made me feel happy.

Meanwhile, I, Celine, Devi, and Fani prefer to sit back on the fringes and some distance away from the reach of the waves while enjoying this twilight scene. We Inging watched carefully the sunset process which is commonly called the sun set.

It feels very comfortable to sit on the beach, on the sand, while enjoying the beautiful nature painting that is clearly spread in front of me. Breezes that are very soothing also add to the atmosphere to be more soothing again. I so imagine if I was born as a coastal child, maybe I will be here every afternoon.

"Oi Lang's... You don't want to come with us? Come onl... It's so cool to play between these little waves. Don't tell me you're scared, huh?" ruben shouted from a distance.

I just smiled at Ruben's words. I didn't know if I could scream or not, so I decided to just smile at him.

"Oiya, by the way the three of you are from the same Junior High?" suddenly Devi asked me.

"You mean me, Ruben, same Ahsan?" ask me. Devi then immediately nodded her head in affirmative sign.

"Engga, we're not one SMP. We met when we entered High School. Only Ahsan is the same Ruben who came from the same school," I replied.

"Oh so yeah. I thought you were from one Junior High. You see, you guys look very familiar," said Devi again.

Of Celine, Devi, and Fani, Fani is the most reserved. For some reason every time Fani met the men, the look of her face became somewhat jutek and such. He doesn't look too friendly to me. I don't know why it could be so, or maybe Fani hates men well? I don't know. He rarely talked about it either. The sky is getting darker now. The sun was already half a body at the end of the horizon there. Devi and Celine then called the three of them who looked cool playing in the wet sand even though the sky was getting darker.

After we gathered, we took the time to see the sun sink and disappear from the horizon. The sky that had once seemed to glow, now looked dark and silent.

After that, we decided to find dinner first before deciding to go home. We then stopped by one of the stalls that provide a variety of dishes from the sea. For some reason, when I started smelling the aroma of cooking, I suddenly became very hungry. I didn't even feel hungry at all.
