After the ceremony is over, we the new disciples will carry out the Student Orientation Period. After I watched for a while, there were so many familiar faces I saw. Maybe those familiar faces, used to be an Junior High with me. Although I memorized the faces, but I could not name them. Not that I forgot, but I really don't know.
During Junior High I was apathetic, did not like socializing, or even just chatting with classmates. I prefer to spend my own time reading a novel or just daydreaming looking out the window.
After being remembered again, when Junior High I only had one friend, Tora. In fact, I knew Tora not because we were Junior High, but because we knew each other since childhood.
Besides Tora, I still remember the name of my class president back in 9th grade, her name was Angel. I remember his name because in class, his name is often called by teachers. Because he heard his name called by the teacher too often, I unconsciously remembered it until now. But I haven't seen Angel so far. Is it different from my school? I don't know.
The less I talk to people, the less trouble I get. That's my thinking.

Before starting the student orientation, we are collected first in each class. We explained about the ins and outs of the school to a very detailed. After that, we were just invited around the school to look around the entire room and its functions.
The ones in charge of guiding my class are Mega's sister and Alice's sister. I think I've only seen them for the first time, so maybe they're not from the same Junior High as I used to be.
After we finished walking around, we were gathered back to our classes. We will receive directions for tomorrow's activities. It seems like once the orders are completed, we will be allowed to go home.
"Do you know each other?" ask Alice from the front of the class.
some answered "already", "not yet", "partly", and some were silent and did not answer the same as me.
Since I first entered this class this morning, I have not even spoken to the other students. Although, there were about 5 people whose faces were familiar. And it seems to be from the same Junior High as me.
"It looks like there are familiar there are also those who have not... Gapapa, later as time goes by you will definitely be familiar," added Alice.
Actually I disagree with the word "definitely" from Alice's sentence just now. Man cannot guarantee 100% of what he believes will happen in the future. Likewise with the sentence "certainly will be familiar". I think the sentence is not appropriate, because I think I will not be familiar with the students in my class. It's not that I hate them, I just don't like to socialize. I also enjoy time alone.
"So, for tomorrow the activity is the stage of art as well as the closing of the school orientation period. Each class must have at least one appearance. You can sing, play, comedy, dance, or anything you can do. Up to here are there any questions?" continue sister Alice.
"For his performance you decide for yourself. Please after this you can discuss about the appearance tomorrow. Oiya just reminded me again, you also have to determine the class structure well. Is there a question?" this time Mega explained.
"No brother," the whole class answered.
"If there are no questions, I think our meeting today will be enough. Don't forget that you guys met either on the street or still in the school environment please greet brother yah hehe. All right, thanks for today. See you tomorrow. Dahhh," shut Alice.
After that, Alice and her sister Mega left the classroom. Suddenly one of us came to the front of the class.
"Good day everyone. Introduce my name Ayu, complete Ayu Maharani. Greetings know yah. Alice and Mega explained the agenda tomorrow. How before we start discussing, we have an introduction to ourselves first? So that we can be more familiar. How agreed?" said the female disciple who had suddenly come forward earlier.
"Agujuuu..," answered the entire class in unison.
"Then please start from the front desk from the right side" continued the student who advanced to the front.
Finally my turn came.
"My name is Galang Samudra" I said briefly and in a flat tone.
After I finished saying my name earlier, the entire class was silent for a moment before the student next to me went on to introduce himself. Maybe they were a bit surprised by the way my introduction earlier that only mentioned the name and with a flat tone. But I don't care about that. I'm just being funny.
After all the students had finished introducing themselves, I realized that the chair that was in the morning before the upaca was still empty, now it was empty. This student was not late but did not come. To be honest, I wondered why the student was not present on the first day of High School. Is he sick? Or is it some very important business? I don't know. I'm trying to forget that.
Although all the students had introduced themselves, I still did not remember a single name from them. Even the name of the girl who spoke in front of me had forgotten.
"Alright everyone has introduced themselves well..," continued the girl who was in front of the class, "now we first determine who will be the class president. Does anyone want to run for class president?"
The whole class looked at each other. No one seems to want to be the class president. Or it could be that someone wants to, but lacks the confidence to run for themselves.
"How about becoming the class leader of Ayu? How guys? Agreed?" shouted one of the students.
"Well agree."
"Yes Agree."
"That's good, I agree."
The class seemed to agree with the idea. So did I. In addition, I also remembered the name of the girl in front of the class. Name Ayu.
"Are you sure I'm the class president?" asked Ayu with a slightly doubtful tone.
"Yakinnn," again the whole class answered compactly.
After that, they decide Aji becomes the vice-chairman of the class, Agatha becomes the treasurer, and Wita becomes the secretary. After the class structure had been formed, they immediately discussed the performance for tomorrow's art scene. Luckily, someone volunteered to represent the class.
Name's Risa. The plan is to sing for tomorrow's performance. I'm happy that someone invited me to perform. So, we don't bother discussing anymore.
After everything was done, we went home. Although, there were still some students who were still in the classroom. They seemed to be chatting with others.
I was a little surprised they didn't discuss the empty bench. Did they not realize it? Or maybe because they don't care? I don't know. I also just realized that during my first day at school I only mentioned one sentence, "My name is Galang Samudra."
