Chapter 187: A New Record

I seem to have said last night, this evening when the full moon was shining, somehow my feelings were filled with emotions that might have been piling up and tonight was like forcing me out. Right now, I'm at my study table and I'm getting ready to start writing a rhyme. It seemed like for now, the rhyme was the only way for all these emotions that had accumulated to come out one by one.

Tonight, right under the full moon,

I suddenly remembered the day that had passed for over 7 years ago

I remember the day I saw your smile for the last time before it disappeared forever.

I still clearly remember the sound of your laughter that night.

A night filled with happiness.

But why only that night?

Why did you smile that night?

Is it because you already know that it is your last night in a world full of falsehoods and theatrics?

If so, that would be very unfair.

You left with your last laugh, you,

I must release you with a deep cry.

I don't know how deep my cry is,

Or maybe, not that I don't know how deep my cry is,

It's just that my crying never had a basis.

Hope this rhyme touches where you are right now, Dad,

I knew this would get to you

Because I know, you are currently watching me from a very close distance right?

After I finished writing the poem, now my feeling became very relieved. I know it's not a good poem or one that deserves to be praised. But I also know. That rhyme isn't too bad to be read by my father from up there, is it?

Today, Friday 12 October, the day that UTS results will be displayed on the bulletin board of each class. Of course there are those who look forward to such things, there are also those who do not care.

This morning, the sky seemed to be overcast. Rumblings were occasionally heard adorning the gray sky this morning.

"Mom, I left firstwell," said I then immediately left the house.

"Yes Lang, be careful" replied my mother.

Because the cloud looks more and more so, then I speed up my footsteps to get to school soon. I don't want it until I get rained before I get to school. I don't know why it's so troublesome.

Arriving at school, the classroom atmosphere was still quiet. This is because I left early and also went faster. As a result, I got here early as well.

It looks like only 10 children have just arrived. One of them is Cindy. Cindy is famous as a person who always leaves early every day. I started walking towards my chair and desk.

By the time I sat down, I immediately remembered that I still had a debt to Cindy last night. I took the money from my bag and handed it to Cindy.

"Eh oh yeah Lang... Both hehehe," replied Cindy who also smiled. After that, I returned to my seat which was right on Cindy's left.

When I looked at the notice board earlier, there was nothing stuck there yet. It seems, the results of the UTS will only be taped during the first or second break, or maybe also when you go home later. I don't know.

In a moment, the first break is coming soon. At present, Mr. Etwar (an English teacher) who is famous for his humorous nature looks ready. Of all the teachers who teach in my class, only Etwar sir is always ready to finish his lesson hours from 10 minutes before the bell rings.

"Oi see, there's a teacher coming to the notice board. Well it seems like it was a UTS paper," said one of the students in our class.

Suddenly it makes the classroom atmosphere that was quiet became a little noisy and splashy. Mr. Etwar also seemed to understand this and instead allowed us to start resting from now even before the break bell rang. Just contact it adds to the atmosphere of the class becomes increasingly boisterous.

After allowing us to start resting, Etwar immediately left this classroom without saying another word. Along with Mr. Etwar who came out of the classroom, we students also came out to start seeing the noticeboard that had just been affixed to a paper that was allegedly the result of UTS yesterday. Seen some of our class students to run towards there.

"Oi Ben, don't you run around like them to see the UTS results?" ahsan said to Ruben.

"Hahaha for what to do such a thing? They are running around like that because they are enthusiastic to know the results of UTS, well I already know, why see the announcement again hahaha," said Ruben with a laugh that is quite wide.

"It's cool to know the result" Ahsan said.

"You too" said Ruben.

"Oi Lang, by the way you didn't see your UTS results?" ask Ruben.

"I'll be alone, waiting to be quiet" I replied

"Oh so well," replied Ruben.

After waiting for a while, finally the announcement board looked deserted. I started walking towards the notice board.

When I got to the front of the blackboard, suddenly there was someone running towards here. When I looked, it turned out that the ones running were Ruben and Ahsan.

"Where's Lang from your UTS?" ask Ruben when he gets here.

"This is just what I want to see. Where are you guys from, by the way? From canteen?" say me.

"It's true, we're out of the cafeteria. Yes, let's look at it together" said Ruben.

When I started seeing my UTS results, I was a little surprised. It turns out that none of the 15 subjects whose grades are below KKM. That means I don't have to repeat or do any tasks to fix the UTS value.

"Hahahahaha," suddenly Ruben laughed so loudly.

"Oi why are you?" ask Ahsan.

"This is San's new record. See if you get a value of 0 hahaha," said Ruben while showing one of Ahsan's values that get a value of 0.

"Pftttttt hahahaha you also see your value. There were 0 and 2 hahahaha," Ahsan's laughter was louder than Ruben's.
