See You Tonight

See You Tonight
Chapter 23: The Hill of Stars

We seem to have gone through half the journey. I checked it on the map, about the distance from the stop to the star hill about 23 km. Bukit Bintang is located in the outer part of the city.

During half the trip, we spent more time looking at the view from the window on our right. We only talk occasionally.

The scenery that was once dominated by shopping buildings, hotels, entertainment venues, and others, is now slowly turning into a small building and not too crowded. Maybe we're on the outskirts of town by now.

"If you were given the choice of being reborn, what would you be born with?" sofia said suddenly as she turned to look at me.

"Why suddenly ask that? When asked about something like that, I think I'm happy enough to be born like me like this" I replied.

"Oh so, thank God," he said briefly, this time turning his face to the window to his right.

"By the way you like books?" I'm trying to find out more about Sofia.

"I don't really like to read books, but there are books that I really like" he replied while still facing the window.

"Oh yes," I replied.

Suddenly the bus stopped, it seemed like there were more passengers going to board. Sure enough, there were two men who went up and sat right in our front seat. Maybe they are students judging by the appearance of those who carry bags. One of them wears glasses and the other wears a hat.

After they sat down, they immediately started chatting. They seem to be close friends.

"Yesterday when I was at the boarding house, I was radioed while smoking bro," said the man in the hat who had just climbed earlier.

"Oh yeah? continues on?" reply men with glasses.

"The radio continues to say that if we smoke it, it's the same as we are putting various kinds of toxins into our bodies. I was horrified dong. Yaudah I instantly matiin," continued the man in the hat.

"Well good, matthew the cigarette?" the guy with the glasses.

"Radionya is hahahaha," replied the man in the hat and then continued the laughter of both.

I looked towards Sofia, ternyat Sofia also seen laughing at their conversation earlier.

"Hihihi is so funny yes they are" Sofia said with a small laugh.

"Hahaha yes. By the way you have not thought after graduating high school want to do?" my many.

"Mmm it looks like I'm going to college, but still don't know what major. That you?"

"Maybe I'm going to college maybe not, I still don't know" I replied again.

"Why is that?" he asked again who looked curious.

"I don't know what to do if I don't go to college. I also don't know if I went to college what I should take. In other words, I still don't know what my talent really is. Or what I really want. Or what I can really do. I still don't know it all."

"Hihihihi," now even Sofia was seen laughing at my answer earlier.

"Why are you laughing?" manya curious.

"You're the one who thinks too much about something that's actually simple? I guess you just haven't noticed. Sooner or later you will realize it. Therefore, you must have a friend beside you to always support you, right? Or as a proofreader if you're going in the wrong direction. Therefore, we as humans cannot live alone."

The left right view of the road is now dominated by quite large trees. The road that was flat, has now started to climb a little. Looks like we'll be here soon.

"In a moment we will reach Lang" said Sofia.

"Well, I can't wait to get to Star Hill."

"About two more stops we get off the bus" Sofia said, raising her fingers.

"Oh okay," I said briefly.

Finally we reached the nearest stop to the star hill. We stopped and got off the bus. The journey by bus was about an hour.

Sofia said now we have to walk about 1 km again or about 15 minutes to get to the hill Bintang. The current time is 16:35. So, maybe we'll get there before five in the afternoon. We also walked straight to the Star Hill.

"Last time you came here when was Sof?" I asked Sofia who had started walking.

"Maybe about 3 months ago" he replied.

"When you come here, who are you?" ask again.

"It's a pity that you guys don't have one more school" I said.

"Yes how else hehe," Sofia's face was very clear that she missed her best friend very much.

"Are you ready to see the city from the top of the Star Hill?" sofia asked to shift the topic by changing her countenance to a little carefree now.

"Yes I'm impatient" I replied with a smile on my face.

We finally reached the Star Hill. From up here, I can clearly see the city I've been living in. Buildings and buildings are large and high, from here it looks small. It was like looking at a miniature.

The stones are large, unpatterned lined on the left side of this area. So that visitors do not fall, on the edge of this area is given a fence as high as the stomach. The atmosphere this afternoon was quite quiet, probably around a dozen people only. For a while I did not know why this hill is called the hill of the Stars.

"Are you lonely, huh? I think this place will be crowded," I said to Sofia whose hand was holding the guardrail while looking at the city view from up here.

"Of course it is now quiet, the best time to visit the Star hill is when the sun is already sinking. You may also know why this hill is called the hill of the Stars" he replied. His long hair seemed to be flying in the wind that was quite strong in this area. Sofia then tied her hair again.

"Oh so, yes" I said as I continued to look at him from the side. "So we have to wait until dark to get the best view?" continued again.

"Yes, it should be like that."

"What do you think about going home?"

"Ga papa really, anyways I've permission papa earlier."

"Okay then."

It's about an hour until the sun really sets.

"You want to find a snack first while waiting for the sun to sink?" ask Sofia.

"Can."

We decided to find a snack around here while waiting for the sun to sink. Because here including the plateau, so the air here has begun to cool.

Finally, after waiting for about an hour, the sun finally sank and replaced the moon. The atmosphere that was quite quiet this afternoon, is now slowly starting to get crowded. We soon returned to see the city at night from up here.

Looking at the city from up here, I think this is the first time I've seen a scene like this. The light emanating from every point in the city, looks like starlight. Maybe now I already know why this hill is called Bintang hill.

"Where's the view?" ask Sofia.

"Well, it was great, I first saw a scene like this. It seems, I also already know why this place is called a star hill."

"Hehe let you know right away" Sofia said with a smile.

"Well, it's getting colder, yes, you should just wear my jacket" I said as I put my jacket on to Sofia.

"Eh gausah Lang, you will even get cold" said Sofia while refusing the jacket I gave her.

"I-I don't want you to be cold, Sof, I-I don't want you to be cold" I said stammering.

"Eh really this?"

"I-yes, really just use it."

"Well, if that's the case, thank you Lang," he said, wearing the jacket I gave him.

We also saw the city view. The wind tonight is calmer than it was this afternoon. Although it feels a little cold, but somehow it feels warm in my heart. Maybe because I was next to Sofia.

"Bo-can't-do I-a-I ask for your WA number Sof?" I asked nervously.

"By Lang, why are you so nervous?"

"Hehe's okay," I can't reveal that I'm very happy right now.

We also exchanged WA numbers. I still don't know if I'll send him a message or not. What's clear right now is that I just feel like I should have his contacts.
