Friday afternoon on October 19th, after school I planned to visit my father's grave alone. Right now, I'm still following my last lesson before I go home. I also started not focusing on the lessons I was taking. My mind is now in a different time and place.
Finally, the school bell rang. We all ended this last hour of study with great zeal. Of course, there are no students who are not excited when they hear the bell coming home.
When he finished, the teacher who was teaching began to leave. The other students were seen starting to leave the class as well. Meanwhile, I was still sitting in my chair, watching the other students leave.
"Oi Lang, you've got a show? Want to go to Calvin's house, won't you?" asked Ruben who came to me.
"Oh not Ben. I have a plan already. Next time, yes" I replied.
"Well yes. By the way, where are you going Lang?" ask Ruben again.
"Yes the point is," I replied.
"That's so. Yes, be careful. Then I go first, yeah" said Ruben, who immediately left the class with Calvin and the others.
"You're not going to San?" ask Ahsan who still looks like he has not risen from his seat.
"Oh no. Later on I also have an event so I can not come," replied Ahsan with a sleepy face.
"Oh so yeah. By the way you look very sleepy today. You stayed up last night?" ask me.
"Eh still got caught huh? I tried to hide it" Ahsan said.
"Huh? It is obvious that you are sleepy. Hiding from where he tried?" my timpal.
"Hehehe so well. Yes, last night I watched the ball so I stayed up hahahaha," Ahsan replied with a laugh ending.
After that, I got up from my seat and walked out of the classroom.
Since the distance from the school to my father's burial place is quite far, I will use the bus to get there. I also walked straight to the bus stop.
Arriving at the stop, I immediately got the bus which was walking in that direction. It is a very rare coincidence. I then got on the bus.
When I boarded, the bus was so full that there was no seat left. I had to stand until I reached my destination.
Most of the bus passengers today are students who have just returned from school. Whether it's from another school or my own.

After a 20-minute bus ride, I reached the nearest stop to my father's funeral. From here, I still have to travel about 700 meters until I get to the cemetery.
Right now, I'm walking pretty fast. While walking, I suddenly saw a funeral flower stall. I decided to stop by for a while to buy flowers to eat my father. I don't know if you'll be happy or not, but I think I should buy the flowers.
"Buy a pack, Grandma" I told the flower stand owner.
"Oh yes, son. Which one to choose?" ask the owner of the stall.
"Oh yes, then this is it, well" he replied, pointing to one of the flower packages that had been tied up.
"Oh yes, grandma. That one is no papa" I replied.

After I finished buying the flowers, I walked back to the cemetery. This time, I walked faster than before because I had wasted a little time when I had bought flowers.

Right now, I'm already at the entrance to the tomb area. The smell of funeral flowers is strong enough to smell from here. The aroma that seemed to carry all the memories while still with the deceased person.
Because there is no event at all, the atmosphere at this time of night is very quiet. Only one or two people are on the pilgrimage. The rest may be the cleaning and security personnel of the tomb who are going around.
My father's grave is far from the entrance. I still have to walk inside enough to reach my father's grave.
Once there, I immediately put the flower I had bought just below my father's name. After that, I lowered my head and bent my legs and prayed.
When I finished, I did not stand up. I was still squatting and looking at my father's meal. I still can't believe my dad left me for 7 years. Every weekend, I always see him.
"Anyone son?" asked a man in a male voice who was a bit hoarse from behind.
I turned to the source of the voice. It turned out that the one who had just asked was a man who looked quite old. His hair was almost completely gray and his beard was so long that white was mixed with black. Looks like he's a janitor at this cemetery. It could be seen from the uniform and long broom that he was holding.
"I-iya cake," I replied somewhat hesitantly.
"Oh so yeah. Rarely do young people go to the tomb alone. By the way whose tomb is in front of you?" ask the grandfather again.
"Oh this is my father's grave cake" I replied.
"Your father? How long has it been?" ask the grandfather again.
"About 7 years cake," I replied.
"Well, it's been a while too... Then now you're just living with your mom?" ask the grandfather again.
"Yes cake, my mother and my sister, too" I replied again.
After that, the grandfather started to sit next to me. The two of us started talking about other things. The longer we chatted, it felt like we had known each other for a long period of time. Mostly, what grandfather was talking about, I could always follow him. Vice versa.
"Life is indeed a mystery that always presents unexpected surprises. Today maybe you can get everything, but tomorrow you will lose it all. Who knows?" said the grandfather.
