Chapter 186: Where is My Money?

"Was it really San? Where'd you hear from about the new student?" asked Ruben excitedly.

"Secret dong hahaha," Ahsan replied.

Around 17:15, we decided to return home from Angkringan. We also rushed to our homes. Ahsan was still heading south and then west, while Reuben and I were heading north.

During my time in angkringan earlier, I saw the angkringan always look crowded. Not only by the people who eat on the spot, but also by the people who buy to be taken away.

I now probably know the reason why angkringan is always crowded, especially if it does not taste good and also the price is cheap. However, still the tone of speech from the angkringan seller, felt so stuck for me. I don't know why his tone is not good to hear.

At a crossroad near the school, I separated from Ruben. I was still straight north, while Reuben turned east.

At about 8 o'clock at night, after finishing dinner, I was told by my mother to buy some things in the minimarket such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and others. Previously, I had written down a list of things I should buy.

I am currently on my way to the nearest minimarket which is about 1 km from my residence. As usual, I headed to the mini market on foot.

Tonight, the moon looks full. That is, tonight is the night of the full moon. For some reason, every time I see a full moon like this, my feelings become filled with emotions that seem to have accumulated a long time ago and overflowed only tonight. Maybe tonight, I'll make a rhyme or something.

The atmosphere of the city at night, somehow feels so peaceful. Streets whose services are still crowded, currently it is relatively quiet.

Arriving at the mini market, I immediately took a shopping cart. After that, I took out the note paper that my mother had prepared earlier. Then, I started picking up the items written on the note one by one.

After I finished buying all the items on the note, I then went back to checking them one by one afraid that there was a delay or something like that. After checking again, it turns out true, there is one thing that has not been taken is a toothbrush. I went to the rack that displayed the toothbrush and took it.

Right now, I am confused as to how I can pay for the things I take. Luckily, I haven't handed my grocery box over to the cashier yet. So, I can still think for a moment to find a solution.

The first solution that comes to my mind right now is to return every item I took, then return home to take the money. I don't know why it would feel so embarrassing if I did that. However, if I don't do it, I don't know what to pay with my groceries either.

When I was confused, it suddenly came from behind the door a figure I knew. The person I mean is Cindy.

"Eh Galang? Why Lang? How does it look like I'm confused again," asked Cindy who could immediately realize that I was confused.

"Yes this is Cin, I forgot to bring my money. If you want to go home and take the money first, like how it is," I replied.

Cindy is now seen smiling and laughing after hearing the reason I feel confused.

"Eh? Why laugh at Cin? Something is wrong, right? Whaties? My clothes torn? My pants are torn?" ask me while checking the clothes I'm wearing.

"No, not so hehehe" replied Cindy who was still seen laughing.

"Then?" ask me.

"Just this time I saw you doing something reckless. Apparently, a Galang could also do things like this well, hihihihi," replied Cindy.

"Yes how else. I also do not know my money fell or forgot I have not brought it," answered me again.

"Hihihi ya nih, I loaned money first yah," said Cindy.

"Is that really Cin? Well thank you very much... Tomorrow I will immediately return right at school," I said excitedly.

"Yes, yeah. Take it easy" replied Cindy.

Cindy took the money in her wallet and gave it to me two hundred thousand bills.

"Thank you, Cin" I said.

"Yes, same Lang. That's not enough, by the way?" ask Cindy.

"Enough, enough. I went to the cashier first, Cin. First.." said me then went straight to the cashier.

Arriving at home, I then immediately checked into my room to find out the fact that my money fell or indeed forgot to be carried away. By the time I got to my room, the money on the table was gone. Thus, it can be ascertained that my money is not forgotten to be carried away, but it does fall on the road.

I don't know why I could lose the money I put in my pants pocket. This was the first time I lost money on the road.

You need to know, I never keep my money in my wallet. In fact, I don't even have a wallet. So every time I bring money, I put it in my pants pocket. For some reason, I feel that there is something that is stuck if carrying a wallet everywhere which feels uncomfortable for me.
