The atmosphere of the afternoon restaurant was quite crowded, for the umpteenth time Liliana would meet her clients at her lunch hour again. Lunch hours that should be used to relax or calm the mind for a moment from work. For some reason since his move to Jakarta, his lunch hour has turned into a meeting hour for his clients.

Ayu was receiving a call outside, inside the restaurant itself was too noisy to answer the phone. Liliana stared at her phone, no more social media apps on her phone. “At least we can eat quietly this afternoon. We have lunch first, the abis is back at the office.”

After lunch, Ayu decided to go back to the office first because there was a report that she had to finish. Though Liliana did not mind if the report is done later and they can surround the mall before lunch is up.

Perhaps out of instinct or she desperately needs some time alone, Liliana decides to visit the mall before returning to the office. He needs to think. The woman had even been thinking since returning to Jakarta, then when the break like this she decided to go back to thinking, I don't know what was on her mind.

He walked around the clothes shop on the second floor, he enjoyed his time enjoying the scenery around him. It's Friday’at, and Liliana gets an invitation to a party held by one of her clients. Just a regular dinner party to celebrate the success of the project being handled by Liliana's office but, uh, ordinary here can be interpreted as a big party attended by other high-class entrepreneurs with a very lively and luxurious atmosphere. Most of those with high positions do that.

Liliana had no choice but to come, and she chose to take Dimitri with her. Only the man thought about it, he couldn't bring Kevin along. He could have gone alone, but no one knew there was anything at the party. The invitation was written to come with the couple.

Ever since getting out of the car, Dimitri had already embraced Liliana's waist. “Just make sure that you come with me, so no one dares to approach you.” That's what Dimitri said when he started to embrace Liliana's waist.

“I think it will be boring for you,” said Liliana when they reached the hall that has been filled with invited guests. And sure enough the assumption, the usual purpose here is a party attended by many guests from among other businessmen.

Liliana began to walk up to the host to congratulate him, then perhaps after that she could find a slightly quieter place. He also does not like this crowded crowd, only his work does not allow himself to not be too immersed in calmness.

And all that night, Dimitri really didn't take Liliana off his arm. She followed wherever she went, and Liliana felt no discomfort at all. It only strengthened what he was trying to believe.

“You know what's funny about all this?” dimitri asked Liliana. They had already found a place to seclude from the full hall inside there. There is a balcony that is quite quiet if you go out of the hall and walk for a while in the corridor of the building itself.

Liliana laughed at Dimitri's very accurate reply. They were held in the party room for a long time because they had to greet some people who knew Liliana, plus some people who also knew Dimitri.

“Well, but I'm happy to accompany you now. So, did you ever not sincerely do all those things?”

Liliana shrugged both of her shoulders. “Of course sincere, for the sake of my salary.”

They laugh together because of it. That night's wind blew Liliana's hair off her shoulder.

“I've decided, Al,” said Liliana. Making Dimitri turn his gaze to Liliana.

Liliana looked at Dimitri who was already looking at her with a questioning look. “Kita. I've been trying to convince my heart, and although I've done that many times, my heart still chooses you.”.

Dimitri just looked at Liliana without saying anything, rather he did not know what to say. All the words seemed unable to come from his lips. He did not expect Liliana to decide so soon, Dimitri did not mind if he had to wait longer. Whatever he'll do for it.

“You don't want to say anything?” ask Liliana.

“I don't even know what to say, I feel like I'm getting a love disclosure.”

Liliana laughs. “Think I did that, but the answer has been you since. I'm trying to change my heart, make sure you're just my closest friend and I shouldn't feel this way. But, no matter how hard I try, it's still you.”

“I can hug you?”

Liliana simply spread her arms without saying anything, and Dimitri greeted it with a wide smile on her face. His wait was not in vain, and his patience had also paid off. It was really very painful at the beginning, but Dimitri accepted everything as if it was nothing.

After all, it was his punishment, and now he was relieved of it because of Liliana.

“Sorry to keep you waiting for a long time. I just want to think about everything well, I don't want to be heartbroken because it hurts so much.”

Dimitri tightened his arms and kissed Liliana on the top of his head. “I'm willing to wait until ten years or fifty years from when you're with me. I really don't mind everything.”

Liliana further buried her face in Dimitri's chest. There was a sense of relief in his heart, all the burden as if lifted from his shoulders. It should have been a long time since he did this, but it took a storm to strengthen his heart before facing a beautiful rainbow.

“I still can't believe all this, I think we'll just end up with no clear status or you come back to hang me and leave.”

His cheeks hurt from constantly laughing and also smiling since then, but he still laughed. He also did not know that he would say that to Dimitri.

“At first I wanted to do that, but it's so unfair to you and I'll just end up with an antagonist role. So I steadied my heart again to receive you, but I have one request.”

Dimitri let go of their embrace and looked at Liliana. “What's your request?”

“Don't ever keep anything from me again, you can just tell me, whatever it is. Don't be afraid I'll get hurt, I'm more hurt when you just shut up.”

“There is no secret. I promise you. I also promise to fix everything from the beginning, I won't let anything hurt you.”

“I will kill you if you renege on all those promises,” Liliana said with a serious look.

“I give you permission for that, just don't disappear again.” Dimitri hugged Liliana again, his smile also did not fade from his face. He had never felt so grateful like this because of a woman before, and Liliana made him feel all that.

“I can't promise.”

That night they ended up with a hug, to warm their bodies and also the heart that had been broken because of Liliana's decision. He still doubts his decision a little, but if he only dwells on all his doubts, there will be no result of it all. Maybe in the future he will come back

hurt, but he promised to handle it well.

If they were together, things would definitely be resolved well. Their love will overcome whatever is in front of them.
