PASUTRI (On Love & Happiness)

PASUTRI (On Love & Happiness)
CHAPTER 62

“What is this?”

Sinta stared intently at Zahra who had since given a boiled egg and pepper to Sinta instantly disappeared not seen until late afternoon. It makes Sinta's annoyance even more because he thinks Zahra is wandering outside when Faza is not home.

“Oh this flower vase for mamah.. Zahra hope to replace the flower vase that broke yesterday.. Sorry Zahra can not take care of your favorite goods.” Zahra Smile.

Sinta stared at the vase which was almost similar to her favorite flower vase.

“You think this flower vase can replace papah flower vase huh?!”

Zahra grimacing. Sinta's tone began to rise. Zahra knew maybe the price of the vase she bought with a broken flower vase because Loly was slammed was not the same. That certainly costs more than the vase of his mother-in-law's favorite flower.

“Mamah wants to move this flower vase now. Don't put it here.”

Zahra sighed. At least Sinta did not tell him to throw away the vase he bought.

“Iya mah.” Nod Zahra according to it.

Sinta passed after ordering Zahra to move the vase. His sense of sadness that had receded now began to regain control of his heart because Zahra again reminded him of his favorite flower vase.

-------

Later that night, right after dinner, Loly comes with something for Sinta.

“Loly..”

Loly got up from her seat as Sinta appeared in the guest room where she was waiting.

“Tante..” Loly stared wistfully at Sinta who looked a little cold at her since the rupture of the vase.

Loly immediately approaches Sinta and grabs her kiss the back of Sinta's hand hoping Sinta can return to being warm to her as she was.

“Tante I'm so sorry about aunt. I don't mean to break up a aunt's favorite flower vase.. Me...”

“Loly. Forget about that vase. It broke too.” Sela Sinta who does not want to discuss about the vase again.

Loly nodded her head slowly. In his heart Loly continued to curse at Zahra who dared to challenge him.

“Whose are you here with?” Ask Sinta later.

“I'm here by taxi aunt. Ah yes aunt, I happen to have just returned from abroad. Mamah buyin something for aunty. A minute yes..”

Sinta smiled hearing that. The woman looked at Loly who grabbed the medium-sized paperbag she was carrying.

Loly came back closer and gave her luggage to Sinta.

“This is really for aunt?” Ask Sinta with a face of sumringah.

Loly nodded her head with a sweet smile on her lips.

“This mamah word there are only four in the world aunt.” Loly's words made Sinta smile wider.

“Yes God.. Didn't it? Can aunt open now right?”

“Of course.”

From behind the walls Zahra saw it. Zahra sighed to see Sinta who was so enthusiastic about opening the paperbag from Loly. Though previously his mother-in-law looked lazy to meet Loly. But after seeing what Loly brought for her Sinta was immediately excited and looked very happy.

Zahra sighed. Zahra knew she would not be able to buy what Loly had given her mother-in-law. In addition to not having much money, Zahra is also unemployed since deciding to quit her job as waitrees at Santoso restaurant.

“Udah no need to be seen..”.

“Loly is so. He's a kickass. You don't need to envy.” Fadly Smile.

Zahra sighed again. What Loly did could make her mother-in-law instantly excited and enthusiastic. Of course because Loly's a lot of money. Now Zahra could only ask Faza, her husband.

“You're looking for big brother above. Gih hunted first.” Fadly said later.

“OK..” Nod Zahra still with the same expression then passed leaving Fadly.

Fadly shook her head looking at her mother who was so very happy with the branded bag given by Loly. His mother is indeed a woman who can be said to look at everything with material. Even his anger at Loly can instantly subside because of the expensive bag that Loly gave him.

“Basic women.” Fadly muttered then passed from his place.

As for Zahra, he met Faza who was still busy looking for him.

“Mas..” Call Zahra to Faza who is about to open the door of their room.

Faza turned his head and smiled to find his wife who was not far from him.

“I thought you were in the room dear.” Faza Smile.

Zahra only smiled faintly to cover up her turmoil after seeing what Loly had given her mother-in-law. Zahra knew she would not be able to give what Loly gave Sinta.

“Sini darling.. Something I want to ask.” Faza spread out his hands telling Zahra to come closer and into his arms.

Zahra complied and immediately approached and entered her husband's arms.

“How's the flower vase? What do you like?” Faza asked after Zahra was in his arms.

Zahra clucked slowly. Zahra felt his efforts were really in vain. But then Zahra's expression changed to remember a figure similar to her father-in-law this afternoon when Zahra was relaxing in an ice cream shop with Tina.

Zahra let go of his embrace then looked up at Faza who then kissed a glimpse of his forehead.

“Mas.” Call Zahra slowly.

“Ya darling.” Saut Faza lirih again.

“So I saw a man who looked exactly like Papah. She got out of the hotel not far from the ice cream shop where Tina and I were relaxing this afternoon after buying a vase for momah.”

Faza frowned at hearing that. Yang Faza, Fadly, also knew his papa was out of town because of the company's business.

“People like papah?” Faza asked looking at Zahra curiously.

“Ya.. The man got into a taxi with a woman with the same makeup as your deputy Anita.”

Faza swallowed his saliva. Faza did feel that something was hidden by his papa since the night when Faza accidentally heard his papa conversation over the phone. Faza tried to dismiss his bad thoughts towards the papah but after hearing what Zahra said the bad thoughts re-emerged and controlled his brain.

“You still want the hotel address, right?” Faza asked looked at Zahra seriously.

Zahra nodded her head. Zahra did not want to be so bad to her father-in-law but on second thought Zahra felt that the man was right exactly like her father-in-law even though Zahra saw him from a distance. Zahra also does not want any problems between mamah and her father-in-law that will certainly also make her husband affected by the problem.

“Then tomorrow we go to the hotel. We find out if it's true papah or you only see people who look alike.”

“Mas I'm sorry.. I didn't mean.”

“Sshh.. We have to trust each other. Okay?” Sela Faza smiled and cupped Zahra's cheeks gently.

Zahra smiled then nodded her head. Zahra closed her eyes as Faza kissed her forehead again.
