PASUTRI (On Love & Happiness)
CHAPTER 288

Faza stopped stepping so far in front of his parents' room. Faza had already raised his hand intending to knock on the door of his parents' room but felt doubtful.

Faza closed his eyes and took a deep breath then exhaled him slowly trying to expel the doubts that were crawling his heart. Faza was sure that his mama must also be in dire need of him.

After feeling sure, Faza also knocked on the door of the mama's room.

There was no mention of anything from the inside making Faza finally ventured to reach the door handle and turn it slowly open the door painted brown.

When Faza opened the door to the room, Faza found no one there. The room was empty and quiet.

“Mah.. mamah.” Call Faza slowly.

Faza stepped into the second room of his parents looking for the whereabouts of the mama. But there was no one there even when Faza checked into the bathroom.

“Where are you?” Gumam Faza asked.

The handsome man with a navy knit jacket then stepped out of the room to look for the mama who might be elsewhere in the two-story house.

Sure enough, after searching for about a few minutes, Faza pressed the mama who was sitting alone in the roof of the second-floor balcony of the house.

Faza smiled and heaved a sigh of relief to find the mamah in good condition.

Slowly Faza approached. Three months of not meeting and not communicating with the mama made her want to cry now. They were still in the same city but for three months did not meet because Faza deliberately avoided the mama for the good of his wife and his own mama.

Faza swallowed his saliva. Faza will accept if the mama is angry with him this time. Faza admitted he was also wrong for not giving any news during these three months.

“Mamah..” Call Faza with a choked voice.

Sinta who that afternoon was daydreaming while enjoying the breeze of the afternoon that hit her body frowned at the sound that she had not heard for a long time. But then Sinta laughed to herself. Missing his eldest son too much makes him often hallucinate himself.

“Faza prefers his wife. She may have forgotten you as her mom Sinta.” Inner Sinta shook her head with a sliced smile.

Sinta never once imagined her family would fall apart like now. Though in the past the four of them were always compact even though it was all Sinta who arranged. But ever since Faza got married quietly to Zahra, Sinta felt everything was starting to change. What's more since her husband also agreed to his second marriage.

“Mamah..”.

The sound was again heard making Sinta again frown. The woman then tried to sharpen her sense of hearing waiting for the mamah call from the voice she so desperately missed.

“This Faza mah.”

Both of Sinta's eyes widened slightly. This time Sinta was sure she was not hallucinating. Sinta got up from her seat and turned around.

That was when Sinta's gaze met Faza's gaze immediately. Both are silent and the same is in place.

Faza was very surprised to see the striking difference from his mama. Dark circles around the eyes that indicate that the woman is lacking rest. Coupled with a pale face and Sinta's body that looks very thin.

“Ya Lord.”

Faza's heart felt throbbing in pain at the current state of his motherhood. Faza did not in the least imagine that the state of the mama would be very different from the last they met, which was three months ago.

“Faza..” Sinta smiled then immediately ran over and immediately rushed to hug the body of Faza who was still sculpting where he stood.

Faza shed tears upon hearing his mother's question. The man really really does not know what happens to his mother so that his mamah physique can even be so drastically changed.

“Mamah kangen very much with you Za.” Tangis Sinta.

Faza heaved a heavy sigh. His mama's cry sounded very heartbreaking.

Slowly Faza returned Sinta's embrace. Guilt instantly crept into his heart. Faza didn't mean not to care about his mother. Faza is just trying to keep well what God has assured him is Zahra, his wife.

“Faza also misses mamah.” Reply Faza lirih.

Faza could only say the apology in his heart without intending to throw directly with the words. Faza knew if he apologized to the mama frankly, a bad request would have been thrown from his mama's mouth.

After hugging for quite a while, Sinta finally let go of her embrace. Sinta smiled haru then immediately kissed the entire handsome face of his eldest son with tears streaming down his cheeks. The woman really can't express her feelings with words. Sinta was very happy because Faza finally came to see her after three months with no news at all.

“Come.. Mamah will make you your favorite potato donut son.”

Faza remained silent as Sinta led him into the house. Although in fact Faza's heart was sliced to see the mama so enthusiastically invite him back into the house and say will make his favorite snack that is potato doughnuts.

“Sit baby.. Mom will make your favorite snack okay?”

After sitting Faza in the chair, Sinta eagerly took the potatoes in a basket made of rattan then peeled them and immediately boiled them of course after washing them cleanly.

“Wait a minute.. It won't be long. You're here, aren't you, baby? Or at least you dong dinner here.. Do you not miss the same mom? same cuisine mamah?”

Faza sighed softly. Being too gentle and giving in to his mother will only make his mother continue to big head.

“I'm just here for a minute, mah. Mama don't bother making snacks for me. At home there are Zahra and Fahri waiting for my return.”

Sinta's face that was originally sumringah instantly turned back flat with no expression.

“If mamah and Zahra are both on the edge of the abyss who were you going to help Faza? Zahras? you want my mother to die just like that?”

Faza. His mother always misinterpreted his intentions.

“What has Zahra been doing for you all this time, son? He is just a burden to you. He can't do anything. He only knows ask.” Upset Sinta said in a tone that began to rise.

“Mamah enough. Faza didn't come here to insult the woman Faza loved so much. Faza came here because Faza wanted to see the state of mamah. And it was also due to encouragement from the wife of Faza.” Faza started to flounder and did not hold himself back because his mother remained unchanged and continued to look at Zahra one eye.

“Yes God.. Faza, until like this you are just as mamah just for the sake of the village woman?” Sinta shook her head in disbelief staring at Faza who dared to go against her.

“Mamah still remembers God, right? do you think that the way you judge Zahra will be justified by God? It should be after what happened that you realized. It could be that what befalls mamah now is a result of the egoism of mamah so far. Maybe papah can be patient with mama. But not with Faza mah.. Faza is not the same as papah who can be silent faced to the selfishness of mamah.” Faza said boldly.

Sinta could not say a word. This is the first time Faza has spoken so boldly and beyond his limits.

“Ya Lord Faza you.”

“Faza don't want mah to be a bad boy. But Faza also does not want to be a negligent husband with the responsibilities of Faza. Because Zahra is a trust from God that Faza must really keep as strong and as capable as Faza. Faza will face anyone who intends to hurt Faza's wife, even if it's mamah.” Firmly Faza then passed by just leaving Sinta who was crying hearing his stern remark.
