PASUTRI (On Love & Happiness)

PASUTRI (On Love & Happiness)
CHAPTER 2

Faza awakens when Zahra uncovers the curtain in his room. Zahra laughed amusedly at Faza's expression which she thought was very funny.

“Close dong..” Erang Faza closed his eyes tightly because of the morning sunlight that made him glare.

“It was noon. Mending now I wake up and keep taking a shower. I made breakfast.” Zahra's smile said.

Faza clucked then got up from his lying down. The man with the bangs hair then got out of bed and just passed by without saying anything to Zahra.

Zahra could only shake her head to see it. Zahra knew the cause of her husband's bad mood this morning. What else if it wasn't for Zahra who was getting her monthly guests. Though if Zahra didn't mens maybe last night they already did.

“Mas, tomorrow I have started work. Mr. Santo just gave me three days off doang.”

Faza stopped chewing the fried rice in his mouth staring in astonishment at his wife. Angry actually, it has not done the mandatory ritual on the first night now instead discuss about a short leave given the manager of the restaurant where Zahra works as a waitress.

“Can't discuss work issues first? I'm on leave too, but it's not that short.”

Zahra's smile slowly faded away. Faza's tone was like an angry person.

“You're angry with me?”

Faza clucked then immediately grabbed a glass of water and downed it. If answering Zahra's question now the two of them would definitely fight. And Faza did not want on his first day to be a married couple with Zahra had to fuss just because of trivial problems.

“After this we go to the restaurant. We'll apply for another leave for you.” Faza.

“What? apply for another leave?”

Zahra nodded in disbelief. Faza is really very childish right now.

“Oh Zahra, we were just married yesterday. The time has come to work. I've been on vacation for a week. You have only three days. It is calculated from the day we got married. What kind of manager is that?”

“Mas but.”

“Zahra.. We're married now.. Is it wrong if we enjoy alone time after marriage?” Sela Faza looked at Zahra with her own face.

Zahra swallowed the leftovers in her mouth. Faza's question made him unable to answer. Having alone time with Faza is important to him. But his work is also important to Zahra.

“I'm full.” Faza then got up from his seat and passed from the dining table leaving Zahra who continued to stay where he was sitting.

The beautiful day after the wedding with Zahra that Faza had imagined turned out to be unreal. They even had a fight on the first day that successfully made Faza's mood drop.

Faza occupied himself in the. The man with the bangs of his hair stared at all the directions of the simple courtyard. The house is a relic of both Zahra's parents. The house is not as luxurious as the house of the two Faza people.

Faza sighed. In the past Faza aspired to marry Zahra after having his own residence. But again everything did not match what Faza had imagined. His savings were not enough to buy a house.

Draining the phone in his knee-length shorts pocket sent Faza jolting. Faza immediately reached into the pocket of his shorts taking out that flat object.

Anita, the name was plastered on the screen on Faza's black-tipped phone.

Anita is Faza's officemate. One of the women who was close to Faza at work.

“You are doing another phone call. Don't know what bad mood people are doing?”

Reluctant to pick up the phone from Anita, Faza also put his cellphone on the table. Faza is lazy to talk to anyone right now. Her mood was really ugly from last night.

“Mas.”

Faza turned his head when he heard Zahra's slow voice.

Faza. Zahra was really stubborn this time.

“Ya is up to you.”

Faza refused to argue so chose to give up. Faza was unwilling to further aggravate the beautiful day after the wedding he had always imagined.

Zahra smiled hearing that. Very relieved because Faza finally wanted to listen to him even though it looked ogah ogahan.

Faza's phone rang again but Faza kept his silence made Zahra feel curious because her husband was like deliberately ignoring her.

“Mas why isn't the phone picked up?” Zahra asked closer to Faza.

“Udahlah justin, not important also.”

Zahra. Her husband's mood hasn't been good since he woke up this morning. And Zahra guessed it might be because last night they failed to perform the ritual of the first night that made Faza what he is now.

“Absolutely who called you this morning?”

“Anita.” Answer Faza briefly.

“Anita your coworker is a mas? Anita who likes to wear sexy clothes?”

Faza glanced resentfully at Zahra who was always a prankster and asked a lot if she had talked about Anita.

“Don't say you want to be jealous. I'm the same Anita it's just Zahra's friend. Don't overdo it.”

Zahra clucking. Faza has always been a regular with Anita. But Anita, she always seems to be trying to grab Faza's attention. Zahra admitted Anita is beautiful even very. Her nose is sharp, her skin is pure white with a slim and tall body. Only a foolish man would not look at her.

“Tuh right.. If it's like this I know what's on your mind.” Faza looked at Zahra who always felt faint when comparing her own physique with Anita's.

Faza himself also realized that. Compared to Anita, Zahra is nothing. But his heart cannot lie. As beautiful and perfect as Anita is, the one Faza loves is Zahra.

“She is beautiful, tall, slim. Not rich I'm short, nude even.” Zahra said that high-level pessimism made Faza even more upset. But Faza also did not until his heart was angry at Zahra who was feeling not beautiful in front of him.

Faza got up from his seat. The man stood right in front of Zahra who looked down feeling insecure in front of her.

“Why be self-deprecating anyway. Whatever God loves you should be grateful Zahra.” Faza's tone softened a little now. Zahra would be very sensitive if it was as pessimistic as it is now. And Faza was unwilling to make Zahra shed her tears.

“You are beautiful in my eyes. Maybe even in Aris' eyes too. You are short, but I like it. It makes you look cute.”

Faza smiled feeling pleased with what Faza said. From the beginning they knew Faza did always say Zahra was short and he liked it.

“Udah do not have to be sad, mending now we walk aja yuk road than at home.”

Zahra raised her head slowly looking at Faza's handsome face. That's what always makes Zahra comfortable. Although he was angry but Faza could restrain himself even still be able to comfort him if Zahra was not believing in himself.

“Ready now before I change my mind.” Said Faza menoel the tip of Zahra's nose.

“I take the bag first.” Zahra Smile.

“OK..” Anguk Faza's.

And that morning Faza took Zahra on a road around town on his motorcycle.
