PASUTRI (On Love & Happiness)

PASUTRI (On Love & Happiness)
CHAPTER 248

This afternoon Zahra invited his son to enjoy the cool air on the side of the house. Zahra also very painstakingly invited her son who had just woken up from his deep sleep to speak. Not to forget Zahra also sent her son adorable videos and photos to Faza who was working.

“Excuse me madam, this is orange juice.”

Zahra turned to Lasmi's father who had just placed the orange juice Zahra's request on the table beside the chair he was sitting on.

“Still yes mbak.” Zahra's smile was sincere.

“Same as mistress.” Reply to Lasmi while hugging the tray that became the base when she brought a glass of juice to Zahra.

Mbak Lasmi sighed. This day he continued to follow the news of the accident that hit Santoso. And just a few minutes ago the shocking news was broadcast on TV. The news is about Santoso's death.

Mbak Lasmi wants to tell Zahra but is confused where to start saying it.

Zahra who was confused to see the expression of Lasmi frowned then asked.

“Mbak why? How did you dream that?” Ask Zahra while breastfeeding Fahri.

Lasmi looked at Zahra.

“It's still about accident news sir Santoso mistress. I followed him from morning till now.”

“Ooh.” Zahra nodded slowly. It doesn't matter. It's just that Zahra feels whatever happened to Santoso is none of his business.

“Mrs.” Call mbak Lasmi slowly.

“Ya mbak.” Saut Zahra slowly.

“Pak Santoso died mistress.”

Zahra was shocked to hear that. Both of his eyes immediately perfectly rounded to hear what Lasmi said. Zahra did not expect Santoso to leave so soon in such a tragic way.

Zahra silence. Zahra didn't know what to say. Zahra felt sad because she had received kindness from the man. But what makes Zahra even more sad is the two sons of Santoso who still desperately need him. However, Zahra also knows and feels for herself how it feels to be heartbroken because of the loss of parents. That broken heart cannot be healed and will continue to feel heartbreaking if you remember it.

“Sayang.!!”

Faza's loud call from inside the house made Zahra flinch. Same with Lasmi.

Zahra hurriedly got up from his seat then entered by bringing Fahri in his sling to Faza who was looking for his existence.

“Mas.” Call Zahra as soon as she gets in front of her husband.

Faza sighed. Faza had also heard news of Santoso's death. Faza had also told Reyhan to send a wreath to the funeral home.

“Santoso died.” Said Faza slowly.

Zahra smiled faintly then nodded her head.

“Ya.. Ms. Lasmi just told me.”

Faza gulped. Faza did not know that everything would become like this in the end. Faza thought Santoso's situation wasn't so severe that this morning underestimated him just like that.

“I'll be there.. You stay home, baby.”

Faza hates Santoso because he keeps bothering his wife. But what was currently happening made Faza also feel that sorrow.

“Ya.. Be careful.” Reply Faza.

“Ya darling.. I'll be home soon.”

Faza kissed Zahra's forehead before passing from before Zahra. The man quickly stepped out of his residence to visit the funeral home, the residence of Santoso's ex-wife.

Zahra unconsciously shed her tears. Zahra is not crying for Santoso. But Zahra wept over Nadeo, the handsome boy who used to be very close to her. Zahra knew Nadeo was very affectionate and proud of Santoso as a great father figure. Zahra also knew how Nadeo was so close to Santoso.

Zahra then looked down at her son who was so strong that he suckled her. Zahra did not dare to imagine if what was currently happening to Nadeo befall her son as well.

Zahra then kissed Fahri long ago. Zahra always prayed to God so that Faza could continue to be together until old age to deliver his children later to their happiness.

“I apologize for all the sins and mistakes I made to you.. I realize I was wrong. I shouldn't love another woman. Say sorry to Nanda and Nadeo.. Tell them I love them very much. Tell them not to cry if I leave.. I'm a failed father. And I don't deserve to be grieved. And for you.. Don't hate Zahra.. He doesn't know what. I'm chasing him. I'm the wrong one here.. Sorry.”

Santoso's ex-wife continued to cry sobbing as she recalled Santoso's last words before exhaling her last breath. The man was in a coma hours after the accident. And towards the end of his life Santoso had time to apologize to him also to their two sons, Nanda and Nadeo.

“Dad.. Hiks.. Deo dear father..”.

Devastated as the broken heart of the woman heard the sobs of her youngest son who must really lose the figure of the father in his life.

Santoso was guilty of silent love for another woman even intending to be double. But no matter how bad Santoso did, he was still a father to his two sons. And Santoso's ex-wife has sincerely forgiven all the mistakes made by Santoso to him.

Unlike Nadeo who continued to cry beside Santoso's pusara, Nanda just kept quiet. The teenager stood behind the mother in a white suit. Such a thick cold aura enveloped his figure with black glasses perched at the base of his nose.

Faza, who came to serve until the final resting of the former boss of his wife, was a little curious about the figure of Nanda, Santoso's eldest son.

Faza also felt the cold aura of the teenager that Faza guessed was only 16 years old. Faza once felt disappointed at his papa for knowing the papah was in a relationship with another woman behind his mother. But then Faza can think clearly and forgive the actions of the papah, of course, after the papah admitted the mistake and ended his relationship with the dark woman.

But Nanda, the teenager has not been able to think clearly. His feelings are still unstable and easily controlled by emotions and hate. And maybe that hatred is what makes Nanda can be so upright standing even though the father has left him for good. That's Faza's thinking now.

After Santoso's funeral was over, Santoso's ex-wife took her two sons home. But the eldest Nanda refused and reasoned to want longer in the tomb of the father. Not wanting to force, the woman finally agreed and only brought Nadeo who continued to cry to go home.

Nanda's solitude beside Santoso's tomb was immediately utilized by Faza. The man approached Nanda and stood opposite him to the right of the mound where Santoso was buried.

Noticing Faza's presence, Nanda lowered her sunglasses. His pair of eagle eyes stared for a moment at Faza.

“Why don't you cry?” Ask Faza slowly.

Nanda smiled in anguish.

“Didn't a deceased person not want to be mourned? A deceased person wants the person who loves him patiently and steadfastly and goes on living sincerely.” Nanda replied calmly as she continued to stare at the father's grave.

“You're her husband brother Zahra isn't it?” Ask Nanda later.

Faza smiled. The teenager recognized him.

“Ya..” Answer Faza calmly.

Nanda looked down at his headstone and then looked at Faza again.

“I know everything dad does. I also know you often try to get close to Brother Zahra. Therefore, on behalf of my father I apologize.” Said.

Faza smiled. Allegedly wrong. Nanda is not like any other teenager.

“I understand all that now. And I've forgiven everything your father did.”

Nanda smiled thinly.

“I knew from the beginning about my father's forbidden feelings for Brother Zahra. That's why I can't be close to a father like Deo who always follows you wherever you go.”

Faza was actually surprised. But Faza tries to stay calm and looks ordinary in front of Nanda.

The conversation about Santoso continues. Nanda opened up all the mistakes of the father to Faza who had only met twice this time. Faza offers to drive Nanda home and Nanda agrees.

“Thanks for the ride.” Nanda said when Faza's car arrived right in front of the gate of his mother's residence.

“Same..” Anguk Faza's.

“I'm down. Good night.”

Faza only nodded with a faint smile. After that Nanda got down from Faza's car and entered the yard of his parents' house without turning to Faza who continued to look at him in silence.

Faza sighed. Today Faza was surprised many times. First because of the news of the Santoso accident, both news of Santoso's death and lastly Nanda's unexpected attitude.

Faza also did not expect teenagers like Nanda to have an attitude that not all teenagers can have. Nanda could think so wisely and maturely in the midst of suffering that was being experienced.
