PASUTRI (On Love & Happiness)
CHAPTER 23

At 8pm Faza picked up Zahra. When he reached the residence of Aris and Nadia, Faza called Zahra to inform him that Faza was in front of Aris' house.

“Who?” Aris asked as soon as Zahra ended her phone with Faza.

“Mas Faza kak, he says he's in front.” Zahra's smile answered.

Aris is just a oh. The man did not seem to care even though Faza was in front of his house.

“Why not be asked to enter Ra?”

Zahra could only smile without being able to answer the question of her sister-in-law, Nadia. Zahra understood Aris still could not forgive her husband. And Zahra did not further strain the relationship between her husband and sister if she told Faza to come in.

“I'm home, brother.. Dede, auntie come home first.. When will we play again.”

“Ya aunt.. Heart of yes.. Kiss it first.”

Zahra laughed amusedly at his handsome nephew. Zahra then grabbed the small body of Arka who stretched out her hands to hug and kiss her.

Two steady kisses Arka dived on Zahra's right and left cheeks. The four-and-a-half-year-old toddler was indeed very sticky with Zahra.

“Alka very dear same aunt.” Said.

“Iyaa.. Aunt Ara is also very dear to Arka.” Zahra Smile.

“Then come here again do not forget to invite om Faza ya aunty. Alka also play the same ball about Faza.”

Zahra glanced at Aris who looked unconcerned with what Arka said.

“Iya.. Aunty bring om Faza here. Yes, aunt came home.. By malem.”

“OK aunt.” Angkuk Arka then crucifies Zahra.

Zahra smiled then grabbed her sling bag which was in the back of the sofa where she sat on a hairy carpet with Arka.

Zahra got up from her seat and approached Aris who was cool with her laptop.

“Kak, I'm home yes.” Pamit Zahra crucifies Aris.

“Ya, heart hearts.” Reply Aris with a flat face.

Nadia who saw her husband's expression could only shake her head slowly. Nadia has often reminded Aris, but basically Aris is stubborn so it is not easy to forgive others.

“Come brother deliver until front.” Nadia Smile.

Zahra nodded. The two then stepped out of the house.

“You're patient yes Ra.. You have reminded your sister many times. But yeah.. You know yourself how Aris.”

Zahra smile.

“Ya brother.. Thank you very much sis already understand me the same mas Faza.”

“Iya.. What matters is that you two stay up. God will not test his servant more than his servant has. I'm sure you and Faza can convince aunt Sinta also mas Aris.”

Zahra's tears trickled down hearing what Nadia said. The test at the beginning of his marriage with Faza was not easy.

“Udah don't cry. You're powerful. You're terrific. I am sure and believe that. Back home, Faza is waiting.”

Nadia wiped away the tears that drenched Zahra's cheeks. Nadia knows she can even feel how Zahra is feeling right now.

“Ya brother... I went home well.”

“Iyaa.”

Zahra yelled at Nadia then moved away and approached Faza who was waiting for her in silence. Faza did not even get off his bike at all.

“Kak, we go home yes.” Faza's Smile on Nadia.

Nadia held out two thumbs of her hand at Faza. Nadia also waved her hand as Faza's motorbike began to speed past from her yard.

Nadia took a breath. Nadia felt very sorry for Faza as well as Zahra. The ordeal came at the beginning of the marriage what was the age of the two who were very young. Where selfishness is still very strong in the hearts of both.

Nadia went back into her house. Nadia understands how her husband feels now. Nadia could not force Aris to accept everything.

-----------

Arriving at home, Zahra cleaned herself up. As for Faza, the man chose to watch TV while waiting for Zahra to finish cleaning herself.

“Mas want coffee?” Zahra's question came up from the kitchen.

Faza smiled and shook his head. The man patted the place quietly beside him giving the code for Zahra to sit next to him.

Zahra smiled and then walked over and sat down next to Faza.

“You've eaten?” Ask Zahra again.

“Udah.. You alone?”

Zahra nodded her head in response.

“Ah yes dear I brought potato doughnuts from mommy's house. It's mamah loh's. You try it..”

Faza grabbed a fairly large Tupperware box that was on a glass table in front of him. Faza opens the lid and shows many doughnuts he deliberately brought home to Zahra.

“Cayo cobain. It's really delicious, you know. I just didn't eat rice because I ate a lot of these donuts.”

Zahra stared at the donut with a different topping. Zahra's smile expands. Zahra nodded slowly.

“I don't. Make you aja.” Refuse smooth.

Faza's smile instantly faded away. The man sighed and put the tupperware box back on the table.

“Why?” Ask Faza slowly.

Zahra could not answer. Zahra knew how unhappy Sinta was with her. Sinta would not be sincere if Zahra took one of her homemade potato doughnuts for Zahra to eat.

“I'm full. I ate at Aris.”

Zahra's voice trembled slightly. Remembering how Sinta's hatred for her made Zahra's heart suddenly fragile. Sinta has become her mother-in-law but still does not want to accept it.

“I bribe ya babe.. You have to try it, baby. It's really good.”

Not wanting to hear Zahra's rejection, Faza also grabbed back the tupperware.

“What do you want dear? Chocolate, Green tea, or something else?” Faza asked confusedly choosing donut doughnuts with different toppings.

“Mas I'm really full.”

“Ah you like chocolate. I take the brown ones well.”

Faza picked up a doughnut with a chocolate topping and then thrust it right in front of Zahra's lips that began to shake.

“Mas.”

“Mamah says you can eat this baby.” Sela Faza stared softly at Zahra.

“But.”

“Please..” Please Faza expectantly.

Zahra could not resist. Zahra opened her mouth and bit a little donut proffered by her husband. Along with that Zahra's tears dripped. Zahra could not deny that the potato doughnuts made by her mother-in-law were indeed very tasty and tender. What else topping is always made with quality ingredients to make the taste of donuts is very expensive and different from donuts sold in the store.

“Nak right?” Faza asked as he wiped away Zahra's tears. Faza felt the pain of seeing his wife cry. But Faza was helpless. His mother Zahra was the same woman he loved so much. Both have their own position in the heart of Faza.

Zahra nodded her head then scattered around hugging Faza tightly. Her crying broke right then and there.

“Sstt.. Don't crybaby dong my wife.” Faza's whisper as he gently rubbed Zahra's back trying to calm her down.

------

Does anyone like potato doughnuts other than Faza here?
