OPEN MARRIAGES

OPEN MARRIAGES
The Part 84

Early in the morning Dinda had finished her bath, and was ready to go to the office. Plain light blue shirts, and short knee-length black skirts are her choice.

Her shoes could only be worn next to her feet, but Dinda did not feel it was not a problem. He wears flat shoes, without any rights.

Dinda came out of her room and headed to the kitchen where Mbok Inah was busy preparing breakfast for them.

Laura was also well dressed, sitting at the kitchen table.

"Where are you going?" Dinda asked, astonished to see the appearance of Laura, who looked formal wearing a knee-length skirt, with a lacy blouse on her chest.

"I plan to find a new job today," said Laura, while bribing a spoonful of fried rice made by mbok Inah, into her mouth.

"Ooh...!" Dinda did not want to comment much on Laura, as she did not want to offend her.

Dinda sat there. His wand was on the edge of the table. After mbok Inah offered a plate of fried rice, Dinda also ate breakfast there.

"Are you sure you're ready to get back to work?" laura asked worriedly, looking at Dinda who was still using a cast on her foot.

"Yes...! I can't stand being at home" Dinda replied, bribing food into her mouth.

The two of them then finished their breakfast, and drank the orange juice prepared by Mbok Inah.

After eating, Dinda limped to walk to the front of the house with Laura.

"What are you wearing to the office?" ask Laura.

"I ordered a taxi online." Dinda kept walking.

"It seems like my invitation has come" said Dinda, who saw the incoming chat from the taxi driver.

Dinda tried to speed up her pace.

Dinda waved her hand at Laura, as the taxi car started to run.

Before long, Laura's taxi car also arrived at Dinda's house. Laura then passed away, taking the taxi.~

Along the way, Dinda was busy rechecking her luggage in the bag. He wanted to make sure that no one was left behind.

Even though he had been up since early in the morning, still, Dinda could not maximally use the time in preparing herself, and the items she needed to work. Dinda moves very slowly, due to the condition of her legs.

Like nothing is left behind, thought Dinda.

Arriving at the office, Dinda could see her boss was already in her study. Dinda kept walking towards Dinda's desk.

Just as Dinda was sitting on the chair, her superior secretary came to see Dinda.

"Boss, meet you!" the woman said to Dinda.

Dinda stood up again and put on her cane, walked into the workroom of her boss.

"Morning, Mom!" dinda is still standing.

The woman's superior, looking from the tip of the hair to the tip of Dinda's legs.

"Sit down!" the woman said, inviting Dinda.

Dinda then sat facing the man.

"Can you work again?" ask the woman.

"Yes, Mom! Maybe I can't walk fast, but I can work as usual" said Dinda.

"Good! There are some files, which I want you to clean up. Also later it will be checked again, before it will be returned here again," said the woman, while marking her secretary, to give some map sheets, to Dinda.

"Good, Mom! I'm back at my table now!" said Dinda, after taking the file map sheet.

Dinda was determined to finish her much neglected work, because she had not been in work for days.

All day long, Dinda kept working. Every now and then he had to pick up additional files in the next room, and that was enough to make it difficult for Dinda to work fast, as she wished.

Dinda felt her stomach was very hungry, because she missed lunch. He asked the cafeteria worker, delivering him sandwich bread to his room.

Just filling her stomach with the food, Dinda resumed her work.

It was late in the afternoon, the other office employees had gone home. Dinda stayed in the office. He tried to catch up, working overtime.

His superiors who turned out to also work overtime, saw Dinda's persistence in completing her work.

In the heart of his boss was not hearty and felt salute to see Dinda who was still working with limp legs to and fro using a stick.

"Why don't you just go home? Tomorrow you can go on again" the woman said to Dinda.

Dinda was surprised to see her boss, who was suddenly already standing next to her.

"Eh! It's okay, Buk! There will be another job tomorrow. Later my work piled up," said Dinda.

"Yeah already, if you insist... I'm going home first!" said the woman, walking out, holding the bag in her hand.

Left behind Dinda in the office, the atmosphere was very quiet. But Dinda did not lose her spirit. He continued to work until nightfall.

Several times his phone vibrated, but Dinda did not notice, because he was busy working.

It was almost eleven o'clock in the evening, and his work was done. Dinda was relieved that she had managed to finish, even though it had to take a long time.

Dinda then walked out of his office. When he was in the elevator, he planned to book another taxi to drive him home. Dinda pulled out her phone.

Seen on her cell phone's screen notification, if Laura called her many times.

Dinda called Laura.

"Hello! Dinda why haven't you come home yet?" laura asked from across, like in a hurry when the call was connected.

"I was overtime. Just finished... It's coming home" said Dinda.

"Ooh, yes, I did! Be careful on the road!" said Laura.

"OK!" Dinda answered briefly, then disconnected her phone call.

In the office yard, Dinda looked around looking for the taxi car she ordered, while checking the application. No driver has taken his order.

Dinda then sat on the edge of a large flower pot in front of the office. He had already walked out of the office, the door automatically locked.

Dinda began to feel impatient, tired of working still have to wait like that.

Linda remembered her car. If there had not been an accident, he should have been able to go straight home by now. He thought about the incident, while staring at his stiff legs due to the rigors of the cast.

Aah, stop... Nothing to regret. It's all already happened...

Dinda fiddles with her phone screen. No word from Rudi. When Dinda came home yesterday, Rudi had not been told. Means Rudi didn't visit Dinda again in the hospital. I don't know what the guy wants, Dinda thought.

Finally on his phone there was a new chat coming in. The taxi driver called him. Dinda then asked to be picked up right in front of the office.

Dinda came home that night in a taxi.~

Throughout the week, Dinda always worked overtime, in order to catch up. So busy, Dinda does not think too much about the problems that occur in her life.

There was no sense of time running for Dinda, because of her busyness. Soon the cast could be opened, Dinda thought. He felt very happy, because he was finally able to move normally.
