OPEN MARRIAGES

OPEN MARRIAGES
The Part 13

The film is almost in the middle. Dinda just stared without being able to listen. The girl felt very groggy sitting next to Rudi.

Dinda glanced at the young man. It was very different with Dinda. Rudi looked relaxed without any burden. The young man was busy watching, leaning back in a slightly reclined cinema seat.

Dinda did not stop chewing the popcorn in her hand. He tried his hardest to look relaxed. Rudi glanced at the snack spot in Dinda's hand, a little leftover.

The popcorn is almost gone, Rudi reached into it, looking for the remaining corn seeds. His hands and Dinda's hands were clasped.

Dinda quickly pulled his hand.

"out?" ask Rudi.

Dinda did not answer.

Rudi gave Dinda a soda, which was put in a plastic cup. Dinda welcomed.

Rudi smiled. He silently watched Dinda's movements. It was clear that the girl was groggy. In his heart he was satisfied to see Dinda who was wrong.

Rudi felt that Dinda was nervous about it, but the young man did not want to rush, he had to make sure, if Dinda did have an interest in him.

The cinema goers walk out of the building. The movie is over.

Eko walks with Laura who is struggling in her hands.

"Say, you want to go home? Or do you want to hang out with us first?" asked Laura who suddenly turned to face Dinda who was walking behind her.

"I want to go home!" answer Dinda. The girl did not want to linger, feeling so clumsy.

"Yes, it's been.." said Laura.

"Well, I'll take Dinda back first, okay?!" laura said again, this time she spoke to Eko.

Eko did not have time to answer, Rudi immediately cut and said

"I'm the one who brought Dinda home!"

Dinda.

Laura and Eko are surprised by Rudi's offer. But still consider it common.

"Where, say?" ask Laura to Dinda.

"Whatever" replied Dinda. The girl did not want everyone to know that there was something that made her uncomfortable, while being near Rudi.

They're in each other's cars. Eko, who was in Rudi's car, got in Laura's car.

Dinda was in Rudi's car.

They then split up the road.

"Eko's car was borrowed by her brother. He said his brother's car was again in the workshop because it was ragged the sidewalk yesterday" said Rudi opened the conversation.

"Eko got a lot of money from her brother, to keep her mouth shut. If the bokapnya to know, beeuuhh will not get a pocket ration a month," continued the young man again.

Dinda was still silent, she did not know what to respond to.

"Dinda lives in Kesuma's house, huh?" ask Rudi.

"Know. There was one of my friends living there. I used to go there a lot, only now he has moved to another city college. I would never walk into that house again." explained Rudi.

Along the way home, Rudi did not mention the incident last night. Dinda breathed a sigh of relief. The girl again casually chatted with Rudi.

Arriving home. Rudi asked Dinda's permission to use the bathroom.

Dinda then took him into the house.

Dinda felt bad if she had to immediately tell Rudi to go home. The girl finally asked Mbok Inah, to make her drink.

Dinda invited Rudi who had come out of the bathroom, to sit in the guest room.

The two of them sat there and went back to chatting, as if nothing had ever happened between them.

"Your yesterday's task was already stretched?" ask Rudi.

"Already! Wanna see?" sahut Dinda's.

"Yes! No, if I'm not mistaken, I'm still in the car. We're trying to compare, huh?!" rudi said, while rushing out.

He soon returned with a laptop.

They were busy with college work.

Finished checking their work. Rudi felt like he had been in Dinda's house long enough. The young man then said goodbye.

Dinda drove Rudi to the gate. The girl then locked the turnstile, after Rudi's car passed away.

Dinda laid her body on the bed. He's feeling calm. Okey just relax, the incident yesterday just carried away the atmosphere. The girl smiled to herself.

There was no burden on his head, Dinda fell asleep that night.

***

From a distance Dinda could see Laura in the campus corridor, running towards her. What else is wrong with that kid? Yesterday all day, there was no news.

Laura's breath was piqued

"Hadeh, tired!" said Laura leaning on Dinda's shoulder.

"Ngapain also you need to run around so" Dinda wiped Laura's forehead full of sweat.

"Eh, I forgot to bring my phone. Do not want to go back home first," said Laura still panting.

"Let's go in, just start again" Dinda asked as she began to walk into one of the rooms followed by Laura.

Rudi waved his hand.

"Sit down here!" rudi said, patting the bench next to him.

Laura and Dinda climbed the stairs, then approached and sat down beside Rudi.

Just as they sat down, the lecturer came in and started giving the material in front.

The three of them followed the course of the day together until it was over.
