The Part 33
Dinda wakes. His head hurt a lot. When his hand held his head, he was confused to see a hose attached to it.
Dinda gathered her consciousness.
Rudi who was sitting next to him reacted when he saw Dinda's movements. The man's face looked very anxious.
"Minda! Are you conscious?!" said Rudi while still holding Dinda's hand from earlier.
"My head hurts." said Dinda. The girl held her head.
"I where?" ask Dinda
"You're in the hospital!" said Rudi.
Dinda recalled the time she saw her car grazing the fence. That'sallthatis. Next he doesn't remember anything.
"You're sick, but why didn't you call me?" ask Rudi.
Rudi's feelings were jumbled between anger and worry.
"You fell unconscious in front of the house. Mbok is panicking. Fortunately, he remembered my number. So he can call me." continued Rudi.
"I don't want to trouble you. I thought that if I could just rest at home, nothing would happen." said Dinda.
"She!" Rudi yelled at the girl.
Dinda jerks. Just this time Dinda could hear Rudi making a loud noise.
"What do you think of me? you don't want me to bother with you? You think if there's anything with you, I can calm down ? You don't know how anxious I was when I heard Inah's panic!"
Dinda was silent at Rudi's words.
The woman's feelings are smooth, very quickly feel sad when scolded by Rudi. Even though Dinda knew, Rudi was so out of concern for her.
Dinda's eyes are watery. A little more tears.
At once Rudi also regretted yelling at Dinda.
"I'm sorry...!" Rudi rubbed Dinda's face.
"I was carried away by emotion. I was so anxious, imagining you driving, that you were sick..." Rudi said softly.
Rudi kissed Dinda.
"Other times, you don't hesitate to contact me. I'd go crazy if anything happened to you..." Rudi gently stroked Dinda's hair.
They both remained silent for a moment.
"Your head still hurts? It was so hot" Rudi put his hand on Dinda's forehead. The heat is starting to go down.
"Not really, it's less painful. What does the doctor say I'm sick?" ask Dinda.
"Your blood test results haven't come out yet. Nobody's been told anything yet. You just rest first, I'm not going anywhere, if there's a doctor coming"
Rudi could see that Dinda was still limp. While still sitting beside Dinda's bed, Rudi just stroked Dinda's hand. He doesn't want to talk anymore. He wants Dinda to recover quickly.
Dinda closed her eyes, her head still feeling a bit dizzy. She's asleep.

Faintly, Dinda could hear the voices of people chatting in the room. He opened his eyes. He saw that Rudi was still sitting beside the bed holding his hand.
Linda looked the other way. Billy was sitting on the couch.
Rudi was talking to Billy.
Dinda moved her body a little. Rudi realized
"Our voice bothers you?" ask Rudi.
"No! It's okay" replied Dinda.
He looked at Billy who was looking at him.
Billy then said.
"I was at your house. Mbok Inah said, you were taken to this hospital. So I'm coming here."
"I'm sorry, maybe you're sick because soy sauce took care of me yesterday." continued Billy. The man was smart to hide his feelings in front of Rudi. He acted calm and relaxed as if nothing meaningful had happened.
Inwardly, Dinda was annoyed to see Billy there chatting with Rudi. Dinda was worried that Billy would act stupid.
Rudi stood. Back he held Dinda's forehead.
"It's not hot anymore." the man smiled at Dinda.
Either Rudi deliberately intends to claim his, or indeed just want to. In front of Billy, Rudi kissed Dinda's lips.
Dinda closed her eyes for a moment. Rudi sat back down.
As Rudi was fixing his seat position, Dinda glanced at Billy. The man had already tightened his jaw, Billy's eyes glaring sharply at Rudi. It was clear that Billy was holding back his anger.
Dinda took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. It's a nightmare. Inwardly, Dinda hopes Billy can still be patient.
Billy stood up from his seat and said he wanted to buy coffee. He offers to Rudi, but Rudi refuses.
Billy exited the room where Dinda was being treated.
Dinda massaged her suddenly aching head.
"Your head hurts again?" ask Rudi.
"A little bit..."
"Doctor says, you're smeared, stomach acid rises, and your appendix is inflamed. Tomorrow morning you have to have surgery" Rudi said
"Calm down, the doctor said it was just a minor operation. I'll keep you company" Rudi didn't want Dinda to worry.
Dinda just nodded.
Dinda watched the clothes Rudi was wearing.
"You were still wearing your work clothes this afternoon?" said Dinda.
"Yes, I haven't been able to go home yet" Rudi said as he scratched his head.
He looked at Rudi's face. The girl smiled at her own smile.
"Why?" rudi's shady eyes looked at Dinda.
Dinda still looked at the man.
Rudi was wrong.
"Why? Is there dirt on my face?" Rudi is groggy.
"Yes... Here!" said Dinda.
Rudi brought his face closer.
"Here again!"
Rudi was confused but kept on complying. His face was very close to Dinda's.
Dinda hugged Rudi's neck and kissed her lips.
Rudi welcomes Dinda's kiss. He hugged the girl, tightly.
"You why? Tumben nyosor first!" rudi stopped his kiss for a moment. The man laughed a little.
Dinda pulls Rudi's neck. He kissed the man's lips. Dinda is happy to have a guy like Rudi in her life.
After feeling satisfied to express his affection. Dinda leaned into the bed.
Dinda looked at Rudi from hair to feet. She felt sorry for seeing Rudi, who looked disheveled from taking care of her.
"You go home and get dressed, just come back. It's okay to be here by myself" said Dinda.
"No, I don't want you to be alone here!"
They both forget about Billy, who went to buy a drink.
Just as Rudi spoke, Billy returned to Dinda's room. Billy overheard the conversation between the two of them.
"I'll keep Dinda company until you get back!" billy offered to Rudi.
"You haven't come home yet?" ask Billy
"No, let's just say I'm repaying the service you took care of me yesterday" Billy told Dinda.
"You'll be back, right?" ask Billy to Rudi.
He's good at pretending, thought Dinda hearing Billy say to Rudi.
Rudi fell silent. He was thinking. There was a sense of hesitation leaving Dinda alone with Billy. But he finally agreed.
"Yes, I'll be back for a second! Oh yeah, I'll go to your house. I'd like to see Inah's mbok, so tell me about you. Is there something you want me to bring?" ask Rudi to Dinda
"Get me my bag, same pair of change clothes to wear when I get home from here!" answer Dinda.
Rudi nodded. She kissed Dinda's lips again, before she left.
