The Part 109
When Dinda woke up, she looked around. He was in a room filled with almost everyone close to him.
Billy who was sitting right next to him, then Mama Billy, Laura, Alex, Uncle and his aunt, who were standing next to him again, there was also someone who did not clearly see his face, was sitting on the sofa.
His uncle and family means he has come from out of town, Dinda thought.
Dinda tried to sit down, but held them all there.
"Uncle and aunt when did you get here?" ask Dinda
"Just now, we're straight here, just as you're awake" replied his aunt Dinda.
Dinda is confused. What the hell's going on? He then recalled the incident when he met Mita.
He looked at his hand, again already stuck in the infusion tube. It means he's in the hospital. Dinda looked at Billy and Mama who looked as if they had been crying for a long time.
Billy repeatedly kissed the back of Dinda's hand, still shedding his tears.
Dinda had never seen Billy cry to such an extent. He then touched Billy's hand which held his hand.
"I'm fine, I'm okay" said Dinda.
Billy looked at Dinda.
Before long, a nurse seemed to walk up to them.
"Sorry gentlemen, mothers, the patient has to rest a lot, can please shift first, approach it alternately," said the nurse.
They then moved all the seats to the sofa. Left behind Billy who did not want to move from beside Dinda.
After a while of examining Dinda, the nurse then said
"If there's anything, you can push that button" the nurse pointed to the button near the bed. He then walked away from there.
Dinda looked at Billy who seemed unwilling to stop crying.
"Why?" ask Dinda.
More tears flowed down Billy's face.
"You miscarried" Billy said in a trembling voice.
When he heard Billy's words, somehow Dinda did not feel too sad. He had expected that when he saw the blood flowing down his leg at that time.
Dinda was silent for a moment. She sees how sad Billy is who is so expecting to have a child with her. Dinda rubbed Billy's head.
"Don't think too much about what has already happened" said Dinda slowly.
Laura, who was impatient to get closer to Dinda, stood up to Dinda.
"You're bleeding heavily because of Mita, how's the show going tomorrow if you're still sick?" asked Laura who was too excited about Dinda's wedding.
Dinda speechless. Besides Billy and his mother, no one knows he is pregnant. It's fair that Laura thinks it's just regular stomach bleeding.
Billy was irritated when he heard Laura's question. She didn't want Laura's talk to add to Dinda's mind. Billy stood up and took Laura away.
Laura who was confused just obeyed, until she finally realized that the question was not worth saying when Dinda's condition like that.
"Sorry" Laura moved her mouth without making a sound while looking at Dinda.
Dinda nodded slowly.
Billy sat down next to Dinda when Laura was sitting on the couch.
Dinda watched the people sitting on the sofa as if they were having a serious conversation in a whispering voice.
Dinda loses interest in marrying Billy. Although he loved the man, but there was no longer any urge to rush to marry Billy.
Dinda began to think about canceling their marriage, and chose to continue her life by going with the flow that would take her to the dock.
Dinda turned her gaze towards Billy, who had been staring at her since. Billy's eyes were full of sadness. Dinda is a gamang. He began to doubt his common sense. Dinda was confused as to what choice she should make. Everything is up to itself.
Someone who had been sitting on the sofa, walked over to Dinda.
Dinda looked at the middle-aged man who had eyes like Billy.
He's Billy's papa.
"We've never met in person, unfortunately papa was only able to meet Dinda when Dinda was sick." Papa Billy's voice and manner of speech are very charismatic. It was very different with Billy.
"Dinda know me?" ask Papa Billy.
Dinda nodded slowly.
"Papa had long wanted to meet Dinda, Papa was curious about the woman who made papa's son crazy," he said and smiled sweetly.
His smile was exactly like Billy's smile that could thrill the hearts of those who saw it. Billy stood up and then moved to sit from there.
Papa Billy shook his head.
"Billy was like papa when he was young, but papa knew that he was weak when it came to love." said Papa Billy who had taken the seat that Billy had used earlier.
"Dinda did have to be more patient with Billy who sometimes behaved like a child, He was spoiled with the people he loved, just like papa" The man let out a long sigh.
"It's a good thing that Billy's mom can hold on to his attitude, papa Billy" looked at Mama Billy who was sitting on the couch.
Dinda is actually confused by the intention of papa Billy's conversation as if she knows that Dinda is starting to doubt her intention to marry Billy.
Dinda stared in wonder at Papa Billy with furrowed eyebrows.
Papa Billy seemed to realize what Dinda was thinking.
"Dinda was close to another young man when Billy went abroad, right?" ask Papa Billy.
"Mama Billy has told Billy the story about Dinda's pregnancy, which Billy made without Dinda's consent, so Papa thinks that Dinda only wants to marry Billy because Dinda is pregnant,,
Now that Dinda's miscarried, papa is worried that Dinda will be hesitant to marry Billy" Papa Billy said, looking into Dinda's eyes.
"Papa doesn't want to affect Dinda's mind, papa just wants Dinda to know how Billy really is" said Papa Billy.
"Mistake papa forced Billy to go abroad until Dinda did not get to know him better" the middle-aged man's face looked regretful.
"That remains Dinda's choice, moreover papa knows Billy's attitude that likes to be excessive in everything,, and,,
But, Papa thinks Billy can get through it if things are not on his side" Papa Billy then holds Dinda's hand for a moment before he stands, then invites Mama Billy to leave the room.
"Mama go home first yes, let Dinda can rest" said Mama Billy who then kissed Dinda's forehead gently.
Dinda looked only at the back of the two Billy parents who passed away, until they were nowhere to be seen when they passed through the door.
After hearing Papa Billy's words, Dinda felt she no longer knew what was best. If she wants to cancel her marriage, she has to make a decision. Before the event that will take place tomorrow.
Dinda could only look at Billy who was sitting next to her again, wondering what choice Dinda would make.
