The Part 74
I talked to Laura. Alex just leaned back in the chair. Billy walked back and forth.
Billy thought about Laura. Is it possible that Mita is the mastermind of all this? thought Billy.
Butwhy? Hasn't Mita been friends with Dinda for a long time? Billy's confused.
The night was getting late, but there was no sign of Dinda coming out of the operating room.
All the fatigue awaits. Especially Alex who had spent almost all his energy, while trying to find help. His head was hit several times. He started to feel sleepy.
The operating room door then opened. Dinda was lying in bed, encouraged by several nurses. Dinda was taken into isolation.
"You can't come in!" exclaimed one of the nurses, as they all followed, and tried to enter the room.
Their steps stopped at the door.
They sat outside, taking turns peering at Dinda from the small glass in the door.
Dinda was unconscious. Lots of medical equipment stuck in his body.
Alex shed tears as she looked at Dinda like that. He hoped there would still be a chance for him to get to know the girl better.
Laura was confused to see the unknown man, crying at the door while looking inside.
"Who is that?" dinda asked Rudi while whispering.
"That, Alex! He found Dinda" said Rudi.
Billy who is still busy thinking about all the possibilities of Mita's intervention, does not pay much attention to the surrounding situation. He was really worried about Dinda, if Mita was the culprit.
"I suspect, Mita has a share of all these events." Billy chirped.
Alex, Rudi and Mita look at Billy when they hear his words.
"My mother? Mita was your friend back in Australia?" alex asked, with a confused look.
"I've been friends with Dinda for a long time. Before me, Mita and her fiance went to Australia" Billy said, explaining to Alex
"If you hear Laura's words, it's indeed Mita who is most likely to be the culprit. But does he know your papa's contact?" billy asked, looking at Laura.
"It looks like it's not! Why would I tell him to contact my papa?" said Laura. He then tried to remember, if there is a possibility that Mita could know the contact of her Papa and Eko.
Laura flinched, she remembered something.
"We used my phone to look at the pictures of the wedding dress that was there." said Laura.
"Maybe he took papa's contact, when I let him tinker with my hp...
But why would he hurt me? Especially Dinda who has been his best friend for a long time." Laura didn't understand, roughly what could have been a reason for Mita, to do so.
Billy nodded. He thought hard, to find the answer. He then recalled the time in the villa, when Mita seduced him.
Is Mita in love with Billy? Ah, no way, it could just be because he was drunk again. But...
"Most likely Mita did. You don't call Mita. Don't let him know that Dinda's alive!" billy said in a hurry, to Laura.
Laura nodded.
"If it's true as I thought, you help me think of a way to lure Mita into confessing" Billy said.
"Why do you think Mita is the main culprit?" ask Rudi.
Billy looked at Rudi.
"I think he's in love with me." Billy said.
Hearing Billy's words, all the others looked at Billy, as if waiting for an explanation.
"Then he went to the villa. He seduced me when I got there. But at that time I thought Mita was just drunk so it was...
After I tried to hook up with this problem, I felt that Mita had planned this carefully," Billy said.
But this is just my guess, if Dinda has realized maybe we can get additional information," Billy said at length.
They all went back to silence.
Each one digested Billy's words.
But in their hearts they all felt that Billy's allegations were true, if related to some recent events.
Three doctors and two nurses walked over to Dinda's room, then entered.
Alex, Rudi, Billy and Laura peek out the glass door.
The doctors were examining Dinda, while the two nurses were busy writing something on the patient's file board.
Not too long, they're back out.
"The patient's condition is stable. If the condition improves, tomorrow the patient can be transferred to the usual care room," said one of the doctors.
"First aid that patients get is quite helpful, so that patients can still be saved. Please, no one come in first! Let the patient rest!"
The doctors and nurses left the young man there.
Billy reflexively hugged Alex, as did Rudi. They both felt very grateful to Alex, who helped Dinda.
Alex did not care much about the behavior of his two friends, he still looked at Dinda. In his heart he had felt quite calm, when he heard that Dinda's condition had begun to stabilize.
"Rudi you brought Laura to rest at Dinda's. We'll alternate later! Now I'm gonna stay here and take care of Dinda!" billy said, who then sat in the chair.
Rudi who initially wanted to keep waiting there, so did not have the heart to see Laura. He took Laura away from there.
"You brought the car?" asked Rudi, as they started walking
"No. I was taking an online taxi" Laura said.
"Then, we'll use my car!" said Rudi.
They then left the hospital.
"Lex...! You didn't go home first?" ask Billy.
Alex saw his clothes. He had no idea how dirty he was at the time.
"I'll take a shower first! I'll be back again!" alex said and walked away.
Alex turns around to Billy.
"Is there anything you want me to bring you later?" Alex asked Billy.
"Get me something to eat, mineral water, coffee" said Billy, who just remembered he couldn't go out shopping, because no one was looking after Dinda later.
Alex nodded, then left Billy there.
Billy stood at the door. He looked at Dinda from the glass. He could not imagine what if it was true, Mita wanted to kill Dinda.
Whatever the reason, Billy won't let anything happen, which could endanger Dinda.
Billy then sat back in the chair. He put his head against the wall. After feeling calm, when hearing Dinda's condition that has been stable, it just feels tired of her body that is not rested.
Cursed to the seat, Billy keeps trying to stay awake, while waiting for Alex to return.
Billy almost fell asleep when Alex came.
Alex offers a package of groceries to Billy.
"I just met this. I bought two. I'm hungry too!" said Alex who then opened a packet of food, then ate there.
Billy is too.
Billy ate the food Alex bought.
