It was midnight when Rudi arrived at Dinda's house. Tired of driving on a long journey is not felt by him.
Rudi jumped out of the car. He could see Billy in the house of Dinda, who stood up when he saw Rudi coming.
"Hows it? Where's Dinda?" asked Rudi anxiously.
"There's no news yet. I've asked some of my acquaintances to help find Dinda" Billy said with a lethargic face.
"There's one thing that's bugging my mind...
Why did Dinda tell Inah's mom that she went to see you? Then you had contact with him?" continue Billy, while looking at Rudi with a curious look.
"Dinda did call me, but I don't know. My HP was dead because it ran out of battery." said Rudi, who was still standing in front of Billy.
This time, Billy's fist landed suddenly on Rudi's face. Fresh blood flowed from Rudi's lips.
"It's because of your stupidity. How could you leave Dinda without her being able to call?
That's what you said you were gonna protect Dinda?" Billy trembled withstanding his anger. He clenched both his hands tightly.
Rudi just fell silent. He knew that he was wrong, he was careless. He simply wiped the blood from his mouth, using his hands.
When he saw that Rudi did not fight, Billy immediately felt regret for hitting Rudi. He knew that it would not solve the problem.
Billy sat in the chair. She grabbed her own hair with both hands.
Rudi sat there.
"We'll just report to the police now" Rudi said.
Billy looked at her sharply.
"I know that an adult goes missing in less than twenty-four hours, yet will be processed immediately...
But who knows, we can convince them to help us find Dinda" said Rudi, as if he understood the meaning of Billy's gaze.
"Yaa already! We'll just use my car" Billy said.
He then pulled the front door of Dinda's house to lock, then with Rudi walked away from it.
Billy's car headed to the police station. They're making missing persons reports there. Then leaving again, Billy invites Rudi to wait at Dinda's house.
They couldn't just walk around looking for Dinda without a hint.
Billy's car is parked inside Dinda's yard. They both sat back on the terrace.
"Have you tried to investigate Alex?" said Rudi, who from the beginning was suspicious of Alex, who brought Dinda.
"I just called him. I pretended to ask him to play basketball. But he said he was out of town again, he said it's been three days" Billy said.
"Keep you believe?" asked Rudi with a surprised face.
"You think I'm stupid?" snapped Billy.
"I couldn't believe it, so I asked my acquaintances to look for him, and look for signs of Dinda's whereabouts" Billy continued.
"But since this afternoon, there has been no information" he continued. Now Billy is laying his back on the back of the chair.
"Where is Dinda now." Billy chirped. He then let out a long breath, which felt heavy.
Rudi could not say anything more. He was busy blaming himself.
The two of them remained there, busy with each other's thoughts until morning ~
Dinda woke up with a head that was very painful. He briefly opened his eyes, but closed his eyes again because it felt dizzy when he saw the light in the room.
Dinda held onto her aching head, then tried to sit down.
When Dinda moved her leg, her right leg hurt.
Dinda opened her eyes slowly. He saw a bandage wrapped around his heel until it almost covered part of his thigh.
Dinda looked around. That place is foreign to Dinda.
Where'sisthis? Think Dinda.
What the hell's going on?
Dinda tried to remember what happened that made him there, with wounds on his forehead and legs.
Dinda knew that there was a wound on her forehead, because she felt like she was holding a bandage cloth, which was attached to it.
He remembered that he was driving after Rudi. His eyes widened, he remembered that he had hit a tree, but why was he in that place.
Dinda stood up, then limped down dragging her feet, to get closer to the window. The window that could not be opened, there was only a hint of glass at the top.
The building is made of medium-sized round wood.
How surprised Dinda was when she saw Alex there. Alex was sitting by the fireplace pushing firewood into the fire.
Alex looked at Dinda.
Dinda who felt something was wrong, tried to walk as fast as she could, leading to a door, which she thought was the exit of the place.
"Where are you going?" alex asked, while following Dinda.
Dinda did not reply, she just wanted to quickly get out and get out of there.
Alex speeds up in front of Dinda, then opens the door.
"Out of the forest...!" alex said, holding the door open.
Dinda who did not care, still dragged her feet to keep going.
Alex holds Dinda's shoulder.
But, Dinda threw Alex's hand.
When Dinda was outside, she looked around. He was looking for a way he could go. But it was very dark around. Until the light of the lamp from that place was unable to penetrate it.
"Your foot's hurt. If you want to go home, you have to climb up there!" alex said, pointing with his hand.
Dinda looked at the direction Alex was pointing at. It doesn't look anything. It's totally pitch-black.
"I know you might be scared. But I won't harm you" Alex said, trying to calm Dinda down.
"Didn't you remember your car accident?" ask Alex.
Dinda was silent for a moment, she thought of something.
"Your car fell down there, while you were still in it!" said Alex.
"I was hunting when I heard a loud noise. I looked for the origin of the sound, and saw a badly damaged car...
As I approached, I saw you unconscious" Alex explained.
"Then why don't you take me home?" ask Dinda ketus.
"You kidding?" alex said with a laugh.
"Taking you here, it almost broke my back" Alex said.
Dinda speechless.
"I carried you from down there here and there. Then you want me to carry you up there again?" alex said, smiling cynically.
"Where is your car?" ask Dinda ketus.
"Mr...! You will see that the day is light. To get here I have to walk down the hill.
My car was left up there, there was no way to get the car down here," Alex said, explaining the situation to Dinda.
"I want to go home now!" exclaimed Dinda, who put on a sour face.
"How is it?" alex asked while looking at Dinda's injured leg. "Do I have to carry you again?"
"I can walk!" back Dinda exclaimed.
"Mr...! The way up the hike with legs like that, you think you can?" said Alex.
"Me, I need a few breaks. Especially if it's dark like now, maybe even we are lost," continued Alex.
Dinda did not know what to say, she fell silent again.
"Let's go in first! You can rest in the room later I sleep outside by the fireplace," Alex then carry Dinda.
They then walked back into the cabin.
Alex then offered a glass of warm tea to Dinda, who was already sitting on one of the chairs, by the fireplace.
"Diminum...! It's pretty cold here. Your body is cold" said Alex, who saw the trembling Dinda.
Dinda only realized that she was starting to shiver. Because of the adrenaline, he felt nothing. Dinda then drank some tea that Alex gave her.
Alex walked into the room.
Before long, he returned while carrying a thick sheet of blankets.
Alex then took Dinda to sit closer to the fireplace, which lit up quite large.
"Just sit here first, let your body warm up again!" said Alex who sat Dinda on a thin mattress, while putting a blanket on Dinda's back.
