OPEN MARRIAGES
The Part 61

Rudi took a seat right next to Dinda. He then shifted the chair until it was completely close to Dinda.

"Alex! What are you doing here?" asked Rudi, while giving drinks to Dinda.

Alex smiled cynically, "This is a public place, do you think only you can come here?" Alex folded his arms in front of his chest.

"You know what I mean!" said Rudi. He was annoyed by Alex's foolish behavior.

"I just want to talk to Dinda. I thought he was alone" Alex said without feeling guilty.

"He's with me. I won't leave him alone!" Rudi held Dinda's hand. He then sipped a little of his drink.

Alex laughs. He really underestimated Rudi. "Don't joke! That day, Billy can take Dinda away from you,"

Rudi became very angry at Alex's words. "Don't lure me into making a fuss here!"

Rudi drank his drink again. He tried hard to hold back his emotions. "You better go now!"

"Hm... This place is not yours, and I don't think Dinda would mind if I sat here with her..." Alex moved his body closer to the table, looking at Dinda. As if asking for approval from the girl.

Rudi exclaimed, "Enough!" He could no longer control his emotions. While standing, he held Dinda's hand.

"Come on, we're getting out of here!"

Dinda followed Rudi who had already started walking. They both left Alex sitting there.

In a hurry, his phone, which was still on, was left on the table. They had walked far enough away, and Dinda remembered that thing.

Dinda stopped walking, she jerked Rudi's hand.

"Rudi, my phone is missing" said Dinda.

Rudi looked at Dinda.

"Where?" Rusty asked. He hoped it wasn't where Alex was.

"At the table earlier," Dinda's face looked clear.

"Would you wait here or go back to the car first?" ask Rudi. He doesn't want Dinda to have to deal with Alex again.

"I'll get to the car first!" dinda.

Hearing that Rudi then nodded, then walked back to where it was. While Dinda walked towards the parking lot, where Rudi parked his car.

Just as Dinda got there, someone tapped her shoulder.

Dinda was surprised, then turned around.

Alex, who patted Dinda on the shoulder, said, "This is your phone that missed!"

Alex thrusts Dinda's phone in her hand.

Dinda was still confused, did not have time to think anything, immediately took her phone from Alex's hand.

Alex then left. A moment later Dinda seemed to realize that Alex meant to follow him earlier.

Now, where's Rudi?

Dinda looked here and there, Rudi's nose is not yet visible. Dinda called Rudi's phone.

"Hello!" rudi's voice came from across.

"Hp's already with me. Just got Alex back," said Dinda.

"I'm back here now!" said Rudi. Then disconnect Dinda's call.

Dinda stood beside the car waiting for Rudi. Before long Rudi was seen walking closer.

Rudi looked almost running. His steps were quick with a riled face.

"Alex here?" ask Rudi. It seems like he is very worried.

Seeing Rudi like that, Dinda felt guilty.

"Yes! He was the one who drove my phone. Sorry, it's got you back and forth! We rushed earlier, I really don't remember my phone is still on the table," Dinda told Rudi with a regretful face.

Rudi hugged Dinda tightly.

"Let's go now!" take Rudi while opening the car door for Dinda.

Rudi drove his car on the highway.

"Have Alex been to your house since that night?" Rudi suddenly asked, while they were on the road.

"I don't think there is. I also went early in the morning with Mita and Laura to Billy's villa. I just came home when I met you!" sahut Dinda's.

"Then you were taken care of by Billy yesterday!" said Rudi who looked calm.

Dinda was surprised to see Rudi who was not angry with him, even could look relieved.

"What's wrong with Alex? Why do you and Billy seem worried that he's around me?" Dinda asked Rudi, because she could no longer bear to see the oddity.

"Billy's scared of you?" Rudi asked back.

"Yes! Alex came to my house that night. Billy looks panicked. He apologized to me for inviting Alex to come" Dinda said.

Rudi gasped his car.

"That's right about that!" abugn. Rudi's face looked even more anxious.

"Why? what issue?" ask Dinda who is still curious. He felt that there was no answer from Rudi.

"It's coming to your house soon! Later I explain," said Rudi who turned the steering wheel of his car, which had reached the streets of the Dinda housing complex.

After arriving at Dinda's house, Rudi got off his car first. He asked Dinda to enter the house first. While Rudi went to lock the fence of Dinda's house.

Dinda just obeyed Rudi's orders without much commemtar.

"When Alex was abroad, he was a suspect of kidnapping until the murder of a woman," said Rudi who was sitting on the sofa.

"But he escaped from the law, because of the lack of evidence" continued Rudi, rolling up his shirt arm.

Dinda furrowed her brows as if in disbelief.

"Then anyway? I see Alex as a little strange, but he doesn't seem to be that strange" Dinda said.

Rudi let out a long sigh, then exhaled slowly.

"Indeed, if we don't know Alex too well, like he looks mediocre.

But I've been friends with him long enough...

Alex as I used to know that if he was interested in someone, he wouldn't back down until he got it. Either in a good way, or by threatening," Rudi recalls his school days with Alex.

"I also didn't expect that he could be any more reckless than that, but still... " Rudi held Dinda's hand, then looked at her deeply.

"I'm afraid something happened to you." continued Rudi. She hugged Dinda.

"From the beginning, it was my fault that Alex knew you" Rudi said.

Dinda who had been listening to Rudi's story, somewhat shuddered in horror. But she still felt safe, because she was sure Rudi would protect her.

Rudi let go of his embrace, then held onto both of Dinda's shoulders.

"I'll stay here with you!" said Rudi while looking at Dinda as if asking for approval.

"Until I'm sure Alex isn't obsessed with you anymore" Rudi continued.

Is that so dangerous Alex? thought Dinda. But, at that time Billy was also anxious like Rudi now.

Dinda shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know... Whatever you think is good."

She hugged Dinda again.

"You can never go out on your own! I'll drop you off and pick you up from the office. Whatever you need to do outside the house, you should always go with me" Rudi said.

Rudi still hugged Dinda while stroking Dinda's hair.

"I won't let anything happen to you" said the man again.

Dinda nodded, then leaned her head against Rudi's chest.
