The Part 14
Months and even a year since Dinda's initial meeting with Rudi.
They both often do things together.
Starting from doing college assignments, to hang out often together.
But the more they get together, Rudi doesn't even get a chance to express his feelings to Dinda. He's trapped in the Friend zone.
Dinda was already comfortable with the friendship between the two, and Rudi did not dare to say love. The young man was worried, that it would stretch his relationship with Dinda.
That day as usual, Dinda, Rudi and Laura sat next to each other. Lecturers have already begun to explain the material, when the door of the room opens.
A handsome, cross-faced young man, stepped in. He gave his greetings, as well as apologizing for his delay to the lecturer. The young man then stepped up the stairs, then sat right in front of the row where Dinda, and his friend sat down.
Laura nudged Dinda's hand.
She looked at Laura. The girl did not understand Laura's intention of nudging her.
"Handsome.." whispered Laura.
Dinda covered her face with her hands.
"I guess why," said Dinda as she placed her hand on the table.
Throughout the hours of the course, Rudi felt that something was strange. Many times he had seen Dinda staring at the young man in front of him. But Rudi tried to stay calm.
Surely the prejudice. The three of them were relaxing in the cafe. Dinda and Laura expressed their interest, with the young man also a transfer student.
On the back of the two girls' conversation, the young man appeared at the cafe. Unintentionally, the young man took a seat adjacent to Dinda, Laura and Rudi. The young man's face was clearly visible.
Laura and Dinda whispered while smiling admiring the face, and the young man's appearance.
Rudi who heard the chatter of the two girls started to feel sultry. He sent a message to Eko via whatsapp
"Bro, to the usual cafe. Laura and Dinda are here too"
Eko lectures in different majors, but still at the same university.
"dither. Not yet out!" reply Eko.
Rudi could not wait for Eko's arrival. He was annoyed to see Dinda who was like crazy crazy with another young man.
About five dozen minutes later, Eko showed up.
Laura's surprised.
He stopped his gaze from that handsome bule youth. He welcomed Eko's arrival.
Dinda chuckled at Laura's behavior, which was like a child being caught stealing candy.
Rudi felt a little relieved. Eventually the two girls were able to chat about something else.
Eko's words were like beautiful lyrics in Rudi's ear.
"Let's get out of here!" Rudi hurriedly walked towards the parking lot. The three friends just bengong see Rudi's behavior. They finally followed too.
Still on the road, Dinda suddenly felt unwell. Dinda asked Rudi to drive her home.
"Why Din?" rudi said as the two of them arrived at Dinda's house.
"It's okay. Maybe because I ate chili last night mostly. My maag is frayed." said Dinda grimacing.
"I'm with you, I'm afraid it's getting worse, we'll go to the hospital, '" Rudi knew that Papa Dinda was out of town again. There's no way Dinda's expecting Mbok Inah, who's dropping him off if there's anything.
"No, I'm okay!" said Dinda.
Still Rudi insisted on waiting for Dinda.
Dinda relented, she let Rudi sit in the living room. Dinda went to her room after taking the medicine.
Dinda's asleep. When the girl woke up, she remembered Rudi, she quickly walked out of her room. Rudi apparently fell asleep in the chair. The young man's cell phone screen was still on.
Dinda looked at Rudi's face. The feeling unfortunately stuck, but just like Rudi, the girl also felt trapped in the friend zone.
Dinda tries to shake off her feelings, who wants more from friends with Rudi.
A while later, the girl was still staring at Rudi's face.
The more Dinda noticed every curve on the young man's face, the more it felt like kissing Rudi's lips.
Rudi moved his body. Dinda surprised. Rudi then opened his eyes.
"Aah, how? still sick?" rudi asked as he blinked his heavy eyes.
Dinda was wrong.
"Not again!" answer Dinda. Dag, dig, dug the girl's heart. Duh... Almost, he thought.
"Sorry, I overslept" said Rudi as he rubbed his eyes.
"What do you want to drink?" ask Dinda.
"No need, if you've got me all right, go home" said Rudi. "Do you want to go for a walk with me?" keep up the young man.
"But I took a shower, and we walked, '" Dinda passed by the bathroom.
Dinda is ready. Fresh and fragrant, the thin makeup on her face did not cover the girl's natural beauty.
"Let's stay at my house for a while. I'm gonna take a shower, too,"
"Okay" replied Dinda.
